I think the whole idea behind Rothbart trying to get Odette to marry him was because he tried once before to take her kingdom with his magic, but was defeated and banished. I think Odette even asks him why he doesn't use his magic, but he apparently prefers to do things legally!

Anyway, a great review, wonderfully enjoyable, and look forward to seeing more in the future!

One song I've always liked was It's good to be bad from All dogs go to heaven 2. I also love Be Prepared, My lullyby, and evilmania. What killed FRO7 was the excessive editing they did to the movie when they imported it to America. I actually loved the movie when I was little, but the unedited version is way, way better!

@Pooky1991 I actually watched an old VHS of the edited version, and it only made "FRO7" worse than what it actually is. James Earl Jones is forced to narrate where he shouldn't, characters are made less developed thanks to the editing, and almost 30 minutes is edited out just for the sake of making things shorter, even something as simple as responses to characters questions are clipped out (go watch the first minutes of both YouTube uploads of "Shy Girl" for a notable example)

About the swan princess: Roth Bart actually states that he could take the kingdom by force if he wanted to, but rules it out because he knows if he does that he would have to worry about all the revolts and fighting he would have to go through to keep the kingdom after stealing it. So he decides if he does it legally by marrying Odete he won't have that problem.
