  • However it wouldn't be the same if Rose came back now.

She belongs with the 10th Doctor. <3

  • Rose was BY FAR the BEST companion Doctor Who has ever seen! So I don't know why you're hating on her. Without her, series 1-4 would not have been as big a hit as it was. <3

  • @Shad0wM0nk

I AGREE! I might get allot of thumbs down for saying this but I dont care.

    Rose = WORST COMPANION EVER

    1) She was a complete bitch!!!

    2) She pouted and got annoyed when she found out the Doctor had other companions -.-

    3) SHE JUST WAS ANNOYING AS HELL!!!!!

    4) Why the hell did Russle bring her back in the Stolen Earth/ect...

I know I sound like a Troll but Im just sick of ROSE

  • when matt smith was revealed as the doctor I can say I was very un impressed! But after seeing the series, he was fantastic.

  • spitfires in space!!!!!!

  • Cybermen!!!!!!! :)

  • At 0:11 is the doctor at stone henge with amy and riversong?

  • @lionessdiva194 Yep, but I guess you already figured that out by now lol

  • 0:13 CYBERMEENNNN!!!! :D

  • i think da cybermen one will kinda be like the ninth doctor episode "Dalek"

  • @bioniclecharlie long time to wait unfortunately mate. episodes 12 & 13.

  • whats the name of the theme in this trailer

  • @mitchell00711 I think its the Doctor's Theme from the new soundtrack. whichever it is it's from the new soundtrack.

  • @shokuwarrior na it aint the doctor's theme. Was it in the last series that theme?

  • @mitchell00711 that was the tenth doctor's theme. I'm talking about the eleventh doctor's theme. they are different.

  • @mitchell00711 ...but didn't 9th & 10th Docs have the same theme tho', I thought they did.

  • @mitchell00711 next stop everything

  • Taking David Tennant out was a HUGE mistake. He was the best doctor by far.

  • @comedy4me12 Someone can do better =3 some day... Tom Baker FTW!

  • cybermen??? blink aliens????? ii can't wait!!!

  • @Moviesoundtrackguy I've heard rumors that the original Cyberman are returning

  • So what does anybody think of the new Daleks?

  • @CountJoe1 I'm not too sure whether or not I like the 'hunchback' daleks. Everything else about them looks tons better, except for that!! I hope their standard daleks a little more like the original...

I'm also glad they escaped for a change :\

  • @CountJoe1

    "Only Smarties have the answer!"

That's what I personally think of the new look Daleks, mate. What was Mofatt THINKING?!

  • @MrDCWood

Well Moffat didnt design the daleks, he's the head writer and producer not the designer. and Mark Gatiss (the writer for victory) probably only described the daleks in the script as colour-coded rather than brightly coloured doll-like figures.

the blame should be going towards the head designer, who's name alludes me.

  • @vocalist92

That's a very good point actually, mate. I stand corrected.

  • @MrDCWood

XD tbf when Davies was the head writer i blamed him for a few things. but looking bak i now only blame him for making the same template for every Tennant story which was somewhere along the lines of

    "I'm a time lord"

"I dont know what one is but I'll go with it"

"I'm the last of the time lords too"

    "oh dear"

"I still have my sonic screwdriver that I can use for anything thanks to new special efftects"

"In tht case can I come with you in the Tardis?"

    "Oh no! Daleks...again"

  • The DW actors are just getting better and better.

  • YAY victory me the daleks is no 2moro

  • The scariest episode I have seen is the weeping angles that just creeped me out

  • 10-Points for British dalek!! at 0:09

  • why does the dalek have a union jack under the eye stalk

  • @bakukider

    BRITISH!!!

it should have been british all along

theres a rumor that the daleks win and youll have a revalation half way thorugh the episode (youll have to watch it again to understand)

i cant wait for victory of the daleks

  • oh man, looking for the actual one, this one is 1 min+ too short...

  • it was awsome i cant wait to see it ( i do not live i England anymore so i have to wait to see the series)

  • @kric33doc just go on bbc i player and type in doctor who and you can watch it reply and tell me if it works

  • @bakukider yah i know but i only have to wait 11 more days and i think i can take that

  • @Shad0wM0nk Totally agree! Everytime she appears it lessens the impact of her previous departure. She's like a band that announces its break-up, plays a 'final' show and then keeps coming back in reunion tours

  • Theres one thing you never put in a trap, if youre smart. If you have any plans about seeing tomorrow theres one thing you never ever put in a trap. Me.

    Oh, what a line!

  • @Davidkevin and on the extended trailer, there's an extra bit in the middle- "if you value your continued existence". makes it even better!

  • OMG Amy Pond is Scottish!!!!!!!!!! 8O

  • im looking forward to season 5, dont get me wrong, but i am worried its going to be kiddified, i dont know why, just by one of the other trailers. the last thing i want is for it to be great then do a wwe and be turned to kids, you know what i mean?

  • wow! Is the dalek episode set in ww2?

  • Desperatly trying to like it but did they HAVE to change the inside of the tardis... O.O

Howeverr...Looks like its not going to be crappy afterall :D

  • At 0:09 that dalek has a Union jack symbol on his head?

dose that mean he was made in the Uk lol

  • @silenttexture Churchill and the Daleks (does anyone know for sure if that's the finalized title?) is set during the second world war...

  • @davidhyperion Omg so its daleks shooting at nazis?!

    AWSOME lol

  • @silenttexture OMG I hadn't even thought of that! That would be so AWESOME!

  • @davidhyperion no, its the victory of the daleks.

  • @ryonni123 Thanks for the info!

  • @davidhyperion it's called victory of the daleks

  • @davidhyperion

It's Victory of the Daleks, confirmed months ago

  • 0:09..is it me or is that a nazi dalek? O_O

  • At 0:04 you can see the interior of the TARDIS. Still a little too dark for my liking but it's better, but then again anything would have been after the last one.

  • lol, so teh daleks were fighting for the british in ww2 now were they? yay i love doctor who

  • yay cybermen

  • stop at 0:09 OMG

  • The sight of a 'Tommy Dalek' is surely one of the most intriguing images ever to appear in Doctor Who - as bizarre as the auton dummies in Spearhead from Space and surely as iconic.

  • does anyone know what the drs coat is called? i mean, does it have a name or something?

  • It's a tweed jacket, tweed being the sort of material mixture/weave it's made from. I think Indiana Jones wears a similar coat/outfit when he's just a normal professor [not adventure-ing].

  • could it be a cyber man from the next doctor survived

  • At least the cyberman is all broken.

  • Killing something does not necessarily make it murder.

  • this looks amaizing!!!

  • Anyone else see the Union Jack underneath the eye stalk of the Dalek?

  • anyone else see the Daleks identification under the eye stalk is the union jack?

  • Hang on cause theres new whitey, greyish daleks in it so why the heck is there a stupid army dalek

  • 'Victory of the Daleks' involves Wiston Churchill using the Daleks to fight the Nazis.

  • Union Dalek? As if that is not unusual enough. What would a Dalek want with pockets?

  • i wonder if david tennant will still be on, i mean there is still that other doctor in the parallel universe with rose so something might happen.

  • @supersoniclover123

Nooooooooooooooooo! Don't want any more of Rose Tyler!

  • @dickyfish what she's coming back???

  • @LleuzH No, just someone on here suggested that she should.

  • @dickyfish ah right! thanks for explaining - i was getting confused there for a bit. i like rose but she's been on it too often i think.

  • @dickyfish Isn't she stuck in a different universe with her own "Doctor" anyways? I thought she was gone for good after that whole episode.

  • Unlikely. the idea of the clone Doctor was to conclude Rose's story, as she has no reason to come back to our Universe now. Rose's story is definately over (along with Martha's, Mickey's, Donna's, Jackie's and Wilfred's). She won't be back (if at all) for a loooong time.

  • New tardis console visible at 0:19. Quite epic looking!

  • Green Sonic Screwdriver looks epic.

  • My imagination or were those spitfires flying around in space?

  • OMG!!!!!

  • Star wars stealing ideas there

  • I am delighted that Russel T Gayvis and that shouting tacky over-acting idiot Tennant have gone. Hopefully now the series will be less dumbed down and aimed at an audience of Hollyoaks loving retards. However, this guy is fat too young for such a role...he's just a kid. Maybe in 10 years he'd have been a good choice, but for now by casting him all the BBC have suceeded to do is pander to the illiterate style-over-substance brigade.

  • That Dalek at 0.09 has a Union Jack on its dome...?

  • @CaptainNuge Yes. They're purportedly fighting for the British (hah. not!). The daleks for this episode are all coloured like WW2 vehicles. Shoddy spray-job just to give it the khaky colour (epic context, i kid you not), union Flag (not jack) to identify its alignment and coverings over the non-essential light-sources.

  • @CaptainNuge Btw. that's what the 'circuit like design' under the eyestalks are anyway. Identification tags. So it makes sense to have the union flag there.

  • Union flag and yes it does :)

It is rumored that the Daleks are working for the British army - Winston Churchill is in the episode :P x

  • sweet it looks like the doctor took amy to parraell earth and they saw cybermen again and also weird homemade british daleks and RAF vs Dalek mothership and i thought series 5 would be rubbish!!!

  • I don't think the Cyberman is from the parallel Earth. There are probably still a few kicking about on earth after the Army of Ghosts incident.

  • @skiddalek

    It's not the parallel earth

  • 0:08 Camo Dalek w/ Union Jack on dome ^v^

    0:15 Cyberman-Zombie

    0:18 Spitfires in space

0:19 more TARDIS views (gramophone! :D) Looks INCREDIBLE!

  • The new TARDIS interior 0:04 looks incredible, very 'home-y'.

    And a coat hanger!

  • *applauds Mofffat* Oh, well done, sir! In a 30 second trailer, you've included two scenes which, out of context, you *knew* would get the fans whipping themselves up into a frenzy, namely Amy kissing the Doctor and the Doctor firing a gun. You new exactly what you were doing, didn't you? ;)

  • cant wait for this ;)

    looks brill :)

  • Can I jst say to everyone that we don't know what he is doing with that gun. He could disabling a defence system or activating a microwave oven from long distance; the point is, we can't say theve ruined the pacifist franchise from a five second clip.

  • Nice to know the Who fraternity on Youtube are a bunch of Keyboard Samurai who are touchy as hell. Have fun! I'm done bothering.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hbaranov It's interesting, however, that you didn't have the courage to concede the point to me, the person that you insulted, though you said you would. Regardless, I never "derided or abused" you in any way. This despite the fact that you did to me what you so smugly chide others for, such as your uncalled for smear on mentally challenged people by calling them "tards" and insinuating that I am one. Maybe you should take your own advice and then see how much better You Tube becomes.

  • It'd be so much better without people like you jumping off the grand ol' cliff of conclusions in the first place.

  • the doctor has used guns before as people say the reason ten didnt use a ggun till he was forced too was because of the horrors war had caued to him and the planets he saves exibit a the time war destoyed his people ergo he wont become like the rest of his RACE who were insane how did people not get this

  • Wow this is going to be a great series. Weeping angels, cybermen, daleks I can can't wait.

  • Yeah the doctor has a gun who cares, he used one in the classic series, and anyway, i dont see the fuss about. If you listen to what hes saying then you'll hear hes talking about the trap they're in when he has the gun, so its probably just to get out of the trap!! Jees, people make such a fuss. Any way, the new series looks awesome!!

  • ONe thing I've noticed in both trailers is that the doctor's new sonic screwdriver appears to be operated from the end furthest from the light... and the new TARDIS interior looks awesome XD

I'm still not sure I like Matt Smith but, hey, I didn't like Tennant when he started :P

  • Hey, why are we fighting over whether he's a pacifist or not? Does that seem a little wrong to anyone? Would the Doctor want us fighting like this? Isn't he always trying to make PEACE between people and races?

If you feel the series is being "ruined," so to speak, go away, be quiet, and leave the rest of us to watch in peace. Please.

  • @IzDiaries I comment because I'm sick and tired of the people that are ripping on Matt Smith and the new series before they've seen a single episode. I'm sick of people saying that Smith sucks for doing the same things that David Tennant did. I'm sick of people posting incorrect information about a show that I've faithfully watched for 29 years. I'm sick of people trying to ruin what should be a very exciting time for a Doctor Who fan. That's why I have and will continue to post.

  • the doctor has used a guin all the time before, you're clearly not a fan, ebcause you're one of those morons who keeps posting "O NO HE HAS A GUN, IMMA GO PEE MY PANTS AND CRY" even though, EVERY doctor has used a gun, 10 just didnt pull the trigger on a person, but previous doctors have blown people's heads off.

    RE-READ THAT LAST PART

  • Comment removed

  • He may still be the doctor, he however isnt the same character

  • No the tenth doctor was much more pacifistic than his previous selfs. Every time he regenerates and changes almost completely. Its not like hes going to be shooting someone dead. Hes obviously using the gun to get out of a trap if you listen to his spech. Hes taking a wepon designed to kill and using it as a tool to save people. Realy clever actually.

  • That was just Tennant. Each Doctor has a different quirk in his personality, since he's essentially a different person. Besides, it seems as if he's shooting out the lights in that scene rather than shooting AT someone/something. But most Doctors [1-9] weren't reluctant to result to a slightly violent solution if there was no other choice. Moffat [the new writer] said he wanted the new series to connect to the old more, so that it's all connected.

  • Hbaranov, it was "strongly established"£ by a head writer that ISNT IN FUCKING CHARGE ANYMORE. Doctor Who does NOT belong to Russel T Davies you fucking idiot.

..Pacifisit? Oh yes, like what The Doctor did to the "Family of Blood" was PASSIVE...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

He's not even firing that gun at a PERSON. You're going to feel humiliated when you see it in context. Thicko.

  • @Hbraranov have not watched the 2- doctors? when things got tough they had to use violence, they had no choice; hell the sixth even used a gun to commit genocide. know your who history, fuckwad.

  • @TacoBadger1 youv spelt gun wrong youv put guin not gun.

  • @dinosaurules236 You've spelled you've wrong. You've put youv.

  • /applaud

  • @Hbaranov Did you happen to miss the fact that Tennant fired a gun in HIS LAST EPISODE,or that EVERY Doctor has used a gun at some point, even killing (Doctors 2,3,4,5,6 for example)?

The only thing that's "messing up the franchise" are new series fans who simply don't know the show. Your comment about the "new reboot" is also wrong as both CE and DT used guns and were as violent as any other Doctor. Try actually watching an episode before you judge an entire series based on a 30 sec trailer.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hbaranov Nice response. Instead of engaging in an intelligent debate you result to insults. Good, that'll make your point. It's not that you won't respond anymore, it's that you can't. Facts are facts. Every Doctor has used guns, including Tennant. He shot one in the very last episode. Period.

Finally, an opinion based on fallacious arguments and incorrect facts is not an opinion, it's ignorance. So, you're right, if you choose to live in ignoance...that's your problem.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hbaranov OK, will do. I've had to do this before to proove nay-sayers like you wrong so just give me a few minutes to find the links and I'll post some of them. Obviously, I'm not going to post all the examples of gun use as there were so many but I'll give you a couple of examples from different Doctors. I would also be happy to send you my 2 page list of examples so you can look up the rest on your own.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hbaranov Not sue what "flaming ourselves" means but here are my examples with the exact time the shot takes place:

paste the link in the URL above after the 1st backslash.

#1 The Seeds of Death (Doctor shoots Ice Warrior with a heat gun)

    watch?v=DgEwPxrS2jg&feature=related

    8:23

#2 Day of the Daleks (Doctor shoots Ogron dead)

    watch?v=2AzBUN2OeGo&feature=related

    1:30

more examples on the next comment...

  • @Hbaranov con't

#3 Planet of Evil (Doctor shoots "anti-man")

    watch?v=GblhUShs5NQ&feature=related

    5:52

    #4 Earthshock (Doctor shoots Cyberman)

    watch?v=QakkAOKKx08&feature=related

    4:16

It will be interesting to see if you do indeed "concede the point"

Do I need to find Tennant shooting the gun in "The End of Time"?

I'll e-mail you my full list.

  • if u recall david tennant has held and fired a gun in the end of time and matt is shooting a flare gun so he can see the weeping angels

  • Don't be such a retard. A few doctors have use guns in past before. Maybe he wasn't going to shoot someone. Maybe a machine or something.

  • Comment removed

  • oh shut the fuck up. no wants to hear your rant. In my eyes Smith definately has the chance to GREATER than tennant, and i hope he does. it would serve haters like you right.

  • okay geez. i said nothing about smith. if anything i think he will do awesome. just dont overeact when somebody makes a comment you disagree with. oh by the way, you have good taste in tv

  • if you watched the trailer, you see a dalek ship arming its weaponry and attacking spitfires, so there still is some evil in the daleks, maybe this one got reprogrammed or is doing it as a distraction...

  • oh their spitfires? i thought they were some sort of tigh fighter. okay cool!

  • @LichKingBoi maybe its kind of like when davros made the daleks, someone made them, removing all emotion and making them hate everything thats not one of them, and expects them to worship him, but eradicate them as they are 'impure'. Classic genesis of the daleks.

  • SPitfires? FIring red lasers? I don't think so, unless they've been specially modified...

  • You don't even know which generation of Daleks it is uet.

  • @Hbaranov Didnt hurt it when both Chris and Davids Doctors were holding gun did it?

  • @Hbaranov same and if u pause and look at how dull the darlek has been put 2gether u can c y i think this wont last long ... but i want 2 c that part where that cyberman only has 1 arm lololololol

  • sORRY, Hbaranov, but you're officially an idiot. The Doctor's used guns before and has commited murder in the older series. Get an education on Doctor Who. The only thing "messed up" is your fickle short-term following of this show.

  • you retard, the doctor has used guns many times, and so what if he is? you know what, i agree with TacoBadger1 go pee yourself and cry, maybe even cut yourself to the fact that the doctors doing something he's done before but you've never seen

  • I wonder how he'd react to the end of "Remembrance of the Daleks" where the Doctor commits genocide. Poor fellow's head would probably explode.

  • Would it be interesting in a wibbley wobbley timey wimey fashion if one of the Daleks in the WW2 episode was the same which had

"been on earth for over 50 years sold at private auction moving from one collection to another"

and eventually ended up in van Statten's museum with the Ninth Doctor.

The story doesn't really fit but just a thought...

  • Is that a green sonic screwdriver I see there?

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone who wants an invite to lockerz message me or ask me what it is if you don't know

  • May be a noob question so sorry, but is the dalek based off the original look from the 80s or 60s?

  • because when i look close at dalek, it seems to have a camouflage color to it or i could just be wrong either THIS SERIES WILL RULE!

  • @xJx25 well i can explain that in episode 3 of series 5 winstone churchel takes on the daleks to help fight the nazis thats why they have the cammo on them and if you look closer you can see the union jack under the eyepirce

  • @xJx25 If you want a hint as to the nature of the dalek, look right under the eyestalk. Pause the video if you need to.

I was honestly worried they were going to change the eyestalk design when they showed the first trailer. I like what they've done with the blue glowing eyes on the Daleks since 2005 and whatever the first trailer showing was apparently a busted eye stalk which is why it looked weird. This one that is intact looks right.

I'm also glad they extended the "ears" in 2005.

  • 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!

  • from what i can tell from the US trailer, he's using a gun to shoot a light... possibly due to weeping angels

  • @maverick707630 - Yes but there under-cover working for the Nazi's, if you were a spy you would have to wear the uniform and flag....

  • Love the trailer!

    IT-BEGINS!

  • The Doctor rides a horse! Oh, I'm so excited!

  • I suppose they could be Messerschmitts attacking the Dalek ship as the Daleks are posing as British weapons. Though maybe at this point the Daleks have turned and ol' Churchill sends the RAF against them, maybe they've been modified using future tech to be space worthy........

Ah theories theories. Can't wait to see. =D

  • yeah i like this

  • Actually a pacifist can use violence when they deem it absolutely necessary - a pacifist who harms another in self-defense is still a pacifist. They just prefer it as a last resort. The Doctor in all his incarnations has preferred non-violent solutions, but has never - NEVER - shied away from violence when it's needed. He's killed entire worlds before.

  • the Doctor has always used guns.

    You've only seen 9/10.

    other doctors have used guns.

  • @TacoBadger1 I prefer him as a pacifist.

  • @Gosu117 He's not, nor has he even been a pacifist. Eccleston used a gun and so did Tennant. That's all without talking about the other people/creatures Tennant killed during his 5 years. (Sycorax leader, Racconoss Queen and children, people of Pompeii, Timelords, etc.) The Doctor clearly would rather solve a problem without violence...but will if necessary. ALL Doctors feel that way. Prefer a pacifist all you want, that's not who he is. Sorry.

  • @Albs1414 But he's always talking about peace, and only using violence when absolutely necessary.

Plus he always bitches whenever anyone has a gun even though he uses them (very rarely)

  • He's always talking about peace because the Tenth Doctor was a pacifist...that doesnt mean you don't go back on your word at some future point. A christian can preach God for as long as he or she can until too much shit happens and they become agnostic.

  • @heyarnoldsknee That's fair enough... but if he just turns into another John Mcclain, then Doctor who is going to be shit.

  • @Gosu117Right, he only uses violence when necessary. How do you know that Smith isn't using the gun/punching because it's "absolutely necessary"? You don't. So why judge until you have actually seen WHY he's doing those things? After all, Smith is doing NOTHING that al other Doctors haven't done at some point and don't tell me the Doctor used guns "rarely". I have a 2 page list of examples of the Doctor using guns. It's more than you think regardless of what DT said. He's not the only Doc.

  • @Gosu117 cont. A pacifist is someone who NEVER uses violence under any circumstances. Using my previously stated examples, it is proven(which you already admitted) that the Doctor DOES use violence when necessary. Thus, he is not a pacifist regardless of how much he talks about peace. Talks and actions are two different things. I can't stand when people judge Matt Smith (based on a 30 sec trailer without context) for doing the SAME things DT did. It's a double standard and it's not right.

  • @Albs1414 "Pacifism is the opposition to war or violence as a means of settling disputes or gaining advantage."

So you are wrong on the pacifism front.

You are however right everywhere else.

  • @Gosu117 Well, I didn't cut and paste a definition from the internet but that's what my definition means too. You're splitting hairs. Even using your definition, my points sitll stand. The Doctor does use violence and has fought in wars to "settle disputes" and "gain advantage."

  • @Albs1414 Not really he usually does it to save lives.

    Not for his own advantage.

  • @Gosu117 That IS his own advantage...to save lives. Listen, I'm not criticizing the Doctor for what he does. In fact, I find him more heroic because he is willing to fight, even kill evil for the greater good. In my opinion, one who cannot make a tough decision, one who refuses to fight/kill to protect some ideal while other good people suffer and die is NOT something to respect. Sometimes war is necessary. Ask the Jews or any country occupied by the Nazis during WWII about that.

  • @Gosu117 Peace should always be the 1st option but it is not always possible. The Doctor understands this and that's how the character behaves. You may disagree with that mindset and that's fine. What you can't disagree with is that the Doctor is NOT a pacifist. You cant ignore the actions of the character so it fits what YOU think he should be. To judge Smith (based on a 47 sec trailer) differently for doing the same things DT did is unfair.

  • @Albs1414 Godwins law. /sigh

I think he is a pacifist.

What about in "The Poison Sky" when instead of just blowing up the Sontarans he goes up to give them a chance?

He only uses violence as a last resort and that is pacifism.

  • @Gosu117 It's a valid comparison therefore Godwin's law is a moot point. Here's a quote from your favorite place Wikipedia: Godwin's Law itself can be abused, as a distraction, diversion or even censorship, that fallaciously miscasts an opponent's argument as hyperbole, especially if the comparisons made by the argument are actually appropriate"... "Godwin's Law is often misused to ridicule even valid comparisons" That's what you just did. Congratulations.

  • @Albs1414 Fine.

    I don't care.

I just think that the doctor running around with a gun in the trailer is lame because so many others use guns on TV.

    Now leave me alone.
