The C6 Z06 has a higher top speed than either of those bikes, so it will start to pull away as speed rise towards 170 and past it. Bikes are fast, that but their ultimate speed is several limited by their terrible aerodynamics.

0-130 the bike has it all the way...that bike prolly tops out at 170mph and after about 130mph the acceleration on the bike climbs slower the Zo6 will shoot faster to 170 than the bike...thats what you saw in the video only in words...lol
Most litrebikes will top out in a standing mile. In fact they go 0-185 in about 17-19 sec . I'm not sure what a Z06 does but my guess would be somewhere around 22-23 sec. Again, I don't know about the z06 so no need to thrash on me if I'm wrong. I know a Zo6 won't walk away from a litrebike in a roll race or from dead stop so it's hard to think it could do 0-185 in less than 20 sec.
That's gonna be the end result in that race every time no matter what gear or rpm u launch from.. Obviously the 400lb R6 will win from a dead stop to at least 120-130 but after that the 600+ hp, long geared, much more aerodynamically efficient car will end up in front.
@motogpfan46rossi actually the ZR1 with a *very good* driver can trap 131mph which is about what a stock R6 will trap so it wouldn't be ahead THAT far. Obviously this is a Z06 so it would lose until 140ish then catch up. I am not sure what the R1/CBR1000 trap in the standing mile but the stock ZR1 will do mid 180's easily. the Hennesy 700hp ZR1 trapped 195mph so I am sure the stock ZR1 could probably do high 180's easily
The zo6 is 505hp. But yeah i've raced a couple r6's and they always lose above 120 bc they top out at like 160 and every car with even 450+hp can go faster than that. I thought i had lost the first time until i started gaining on him at 100. So much fun tho.
@Alpha559 im only guessing, but maybe he does that so when he bounces on the bike it amplifies his weight on the back tire so when he shifts he doesn't brake the tire loose and lost traction, only assuming tho

dawm dude on the bike : STOP SHIFTING a R6 got a very long gearing, and the power is all at the top of the rpm, ... he shift too fast ...
with a good driver on the bike the R6 will clearly smoke the corvette
