  • @tfraud I am likewise "glad that boy got shot", IF he truly was a felon. However, I am equally delighted that four sociopathic, sanctimonious, felonious pig cowards were also fatally shot. Each of those scumbag pigs was the recipient of multiple citizen complaints, all of which were covered up. Good riddance to all criminal trash, whether or not they are frauds who hide behind their badges. Good people like me hate pigs because they are felons, not heros, as many naive, sheltered fools believe.

  • I have been robbed, tortured and falsely arrested by Philadelphia pig garbage. Forty Philly pigs have been arrested for similar crimes in the last two years alone. Naturally, for each arrested pig, there are hundreds more committing the same or worse crimes who do not get prosecuted. As such, I celebrate each time any pig dies because there is one less scumbag to feloniously victimize the taxpayers who pay his salary. By the way, I beat the fake cases because the judges could not be corrupted.

  • @PhillyCopsAreCorrupt I'm glad that boy got shot. Cop killer/child molester shit bags like him deserve a more savage beating than Rodney King's. His toe tag will read D.S.A.F. (Did Society A Favor). If you hate the cops so much, go out in public with a bullhorn and scream "Fuck Da Police!" You won't be celebrating when they start romping on your ass!

  • huckabee released him because clemmons claimed to have become of christian. It seems that if you convert to christianity or claim to while in jail, you get a free pass, christianity must be banned

  • @ranchai100 If Christianity was banned in America, it would breach the First Amendment. A better solution would be to promote reason.

  • @atheistram but so long as religion continues, reason will fall by the wayside.I say change the constitution to bring reason to the forefront.

  • @ranchai100 The Constitution has NOTHING to say about religion other than the First Amendment.

  • huckabee is right....the fucking system fucked this guy from the start and now they paid for that shit for giving him a strong ass sentance when he was 16 if he was white he would'nt have got that kind of shit...................what a waste

  • the police officer who shot this BAD MAN

is a hero,i revise my statement!

  • Everything about this whole situation is wrong, nothing positive comes from killings, murders on EITHER SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HUCK and MAURICE CLEMMONS ARE HERO'S to all those abused by cops. THANX HUCKABEE.

HUCKABEE FOR PRESIDENT. FUCK THE POLICE

  • Huckabee's action by releasing Mr. Clemmons caused additional senseless crimes against other innocent people. He should be held personally accountable. If it were one of my family members who were victimized, then I would have paid him an up close and very personal visit myself. He should give everything he owns or will ever own to the victims, shut his mouth and stay off of the TV and out of politics. He just uses air that other people deserve to breathe.

  • @599airport

Exactly right. I was telling my dad about all of Huckabee's senseless pardons when he was Governor, well before this story ever happened! And long and behold look what ended up happening. Huckabee granted 1,033 pardons and commutations in his 10 1/2 years as governor of Arkansas. What a joke. No one should be surprised something like this happened when you pardon that many people.

  • Huckabee is a fucking Jesus freak idiot.

  • Woke up a little while ago, turned on the TV and the news report was that two black dudes are on the lamb after robbing a business. Same old same old. *yawn*

  • Husk?

  • Wow, O'Reilly really kisses Husk's ass.

  • Clemmons uncle (also black and a cop) was interviewed- he is a bit disheartened by this, but not saying "What a nice guy" he was or anything. Clemmons set up the stolen car he had to pull a cop in (hood was up), then was planning to ambush. Fortunately, the officer saw him to his rear in the mirror, and a confrontation ensued. Clemmons is dead- he was a violent, unstable, child-raping SOB. Maurice attack a neighbor when he found out the guy was an ex-cop & raped kids. SPD has cameras, film @ 11!

  • the cops killed him. I think the families of the cops wanted him alive cuz they probably had a lot of questions why he did it. now they will never know

  • Clemmons was allowed to walk because Jesus freak Huckabee bought his "born again" act.

If religious people weren't so easily fooled, they wouldn't be religious, I suppose.

  • Clemmons was allowed to walk the streets despite a teenage crime spree in Arkansas that landed him an 108-year prison sentence. He was released early after then-Gov. Mike Huckabee commuted his sentence.

Huckabee cited Clemmons' youth in granting the request. But Clemmons quickly reverted to his criminal past, violated his parole and was returned to prison. He was released again in 2004

  • Talk about lobbing some softballs out there. Bill, this is the time to give this guy the ol' "Fuckin' thing!!!"

  • Well, the die has been cast, and it's Huckabee who has to sleep at night.

  • Huckabee is a sucker for jailhouse converts, which is what this guy convinced him that he was.

  • Mexican coming over the border+interracial dating+Osama Bin Laden killing whitey=The end of white supremacy!!

  • Arrest Huckabee for being an accessory to Murder !!!

  • Your an idiot, powerful people make big decision and thus their mistakes tend to be huge.

Huckabee is not responsible for the actions of another person just because he reduced a sentence which was, at the time, excessive.

  • There is blood on Huckabee's hands and he knows it. Bill is blaming the whole thing on two judges who will not return his calls. A person who is given a 108 year sentence should spend 108 years in prison.

Huckabee of course will go on his own network and take the softballs.

I hope someone treats Mike like Maurice Clemons treated those officers. He alone is responsible for the deaths of those four police officers.

  • No zb. A 108 year sentence for aggravated burglary is extremely excessive and the recommendation of the judge and parole board is something that the governor should have looked at.

It is nice for you to e able to live in such a simple and silly world.

  • A 108 year sentence was imposed on him following the rules of the constitution. I didn't give it to him. The jury felt he should be put away for life. They were right. Huckabee was wrong. Your opinion that it is excessive means nothing at all.

  • The jury had not reason to put him away for life and that is what the Judge thought, and the constitution of Arkansas call for the Governor to review hundreds of clemency requests every year, 92 % of which are reportedly denied.

  • Where in the Arkansas constitution is it required, and why did Huckabee pardon or otherwise commute twice as many criminals' sentences as the three previous governors combined? More importantly, if Huck's numbers are correct, that the ones he granted are only 8 percent of the ones he looked at, that means he reviewed an average of three cases a day. He claims to have reviewed the cases thoroughly, so are we to believe he spent 3 or more hours a day reviewing these cases? Huck is a liar.

  • This is an example of a republican's fuck-up. This is exactly why the democrats won and took over. Because republicans have been fucking up for 8 years. I.E. Bush/Cheney. They even let Osama get away years ago. And instead, invaded Iraq for oil and costed us out the ass in gas and oil products for years.

  • That makes zero sense, Wayne DuMond was made parole worthy by Guy Tucker under orders from Bill Clinton and I sure do not see you calling for their heads.

  • The whole process was set in motion by Huckabee's involvement. Otherwise this guy would still be in prison and the cops would now be alive.

  • Yea, but that is a huge what if, justice and decision making is not made based on what could happen but the information available at that moment.

The information was that the judge and the parole board thought the sentence was extremely excessive, we have to live with the fact that Governors make big decisions. Including 17 execution, any one of which could turn up new evidence proving the that the convicted was actually innocent... when you make big decisions, expect hug mistakes.

  • They didn't give this guy an "excessive" sentence for shits and giggles. It was probably for a very good reason.

Huckabee should explain to the families of the cops who were killed why he felt he was a better arbitor of justice than the jury and prosecuters and judges who felt such a sentence was necessary.

    Obviously......it was.

  • Unfortunatly excessive sentences get given out all the time and then people later have to deal with it and get blamed if anything ever goes wrong at any point afterwords.

He should be in prison, not based on the original sentence but on the muffed warrants in the mid 00's.

And you talk about the judges, the JUDGE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THE MOVE AT THE TIME AND IS DEFENDING HUCKABEE OVER HIS DECISION.

The families do need explanations though, but the failure in the justice system is to blame.

  • One thing leads to the next. Like the "for the want of a nail". Huckabee was the linchpin, the point of failure. If Huckabee had not commuted him, he would not have been eligible for parole.....etc.

  • The reason people give out strong sentences is because they want to be seen as tough, even though clemency and good behavior credits often shorten the sentences excessively. It is an image thing, and in this case it lead to the judge involved in the case to recommend clemency along with the parole board. Given the information at the time it was a good decision, in hindsight I am sure Huckabee would probably have gone down to the penitentiary and shot Clemmons himself.

  • So the judge who put away Charles Manson wanted to be seen as tough?

Manson never murdered anyone, just told his minions to, and he is locked up for life, and rightfully so.

  • That is a dumb comment Charles Manson was the mastermind behind the plot, that is why he is in jail.

  • Huckabee is going to have old decisions like this blow up in his face just because he was involved in all sides of the penal process because of his constitutional role in Arkansas Government. Whether it be an execution that turns out to have involved an innocent man or something of this nature, Huckabee was involved in sensitive decisions with big implications.

  • Huckabee typical religious nutjob.

  • What AMYBLUF said..

  • You're wrong about Huckabee. His weakness is that he shows the same sort of misguided compassion that Democrats do. Otherwise, he's sincere.

  • Compassion isnt misguided. And I believe there are a small minority of politicans on both sides that are sincere in thier desire to help people. Perhaps its because I never liked Huckabee during his primary run as president. It just shows how much work the criminal justice system needs. Its a shame how eager people are to forgive those that would seek to do them harm. And there are many more cases of repeat offenders that deserve to rot in jail, only they didnt kill 4 cops so they arent noticed

  • 1,000 pardons is not misguided compassion, it's Huckabee doing favors for his pals.

  • Huckabee is a piece of crap who only wants to advance his embaressing carrear. As a conservative libertarian, I believe he is a joke of a Republican and would be on the side of whatever poltical party he thinks would advance his self serving interests. Look how he passes the buck without a care.
