I saw this one. I've only missed one since we moved here in 2005. Now I only live 2 miles south of the south gate. What a view we have now. The trees get in the way though. Watching these never get old. Each on is awe inspiring. I am going to hate to see it end.

interesting to hear the "real" sound not too heavy saturated, so that we can imagine. And interesting too, to see what an average camcorder could see from the ground, when near the end we can see just one brillant point in the blue sky, since the NASA camera still shows us very close beautiful picture of the spacecraft with it's SRB and main tank...

pre dawn and post dusk launches are THE BEST. Especially if there are light clouds, the whole sky lights up.

while filming, the object is to hold the camera as steady as possible on the subject. Makes it so much better for the viewer.
