The point about the accents, I don't what accents the Steel Pulse musicians have. They are from Birmingham in UK not Jamaica anyway. They are from Hansworth to be precise.
@surfmus If I had a time machine I'd take you back to the 100 Club Oxford street in the late 70s or to the Anti-nazi league rallies in London with 80,000 people or the Spectrum in Montreal in the 1980s and I'd tell you this is one of the greatest live bends ever.

I've seen Black Uhuru, Yellow Man, Burning Speer, Steel Pulse, UB40 and particularly the Montreal concert was as good as anyone. Of course it's an opinion. Keep enjoying music.

have you ever heard the real song? they dont sound jamaican really. they actually sound quite caucasian and the point of doing a cover is to make it your own and do it justice at the same time..not to 100% duplicate...study up on the laws of music or actually the freedom.
Have you heard "Kill the White People" by Bob Marley, is underground, I have it. And yes, I heard steel pulse live, they opened for the Wailers on May 07, the suck live btw.
kill the white people is done by eddie murphy in one of his stand ups...he does it to be funny...bob wouldnt make that...his father was white "norville marley" and one of his illegitimate children was by a white woman and his producer was white...i'm pretty studied on him..got 30 cds...and btw i didnt mean any disrespect by this comment...just educating.
