  • I own even smaller World's Smallest Portable Hard Drive, 320 GB, 7200 rpm, direct SATA connection. Really great.

  • what does happen if I connect this device to my hi-fi system through the USB plug? I mean, if in it there is (among others) a folder containing mp3 music, does the hi-fi recognize and play the music?

  • Nice but not going to buy it, usb port on the side and not on the back, stupid -_-

  • Bradford or is it Sheffield?

  • @henrooo Bradford! ;-)

  • @rav07 Good on ya mate.

So how have you found using this drive after 6 months? speed?

I'm looking at getting a small portable hard drive to back up my laptop hard drive. Any additional comments about the LaCaie Rikiki would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • how fast is it ( mb/s)

  • secretly stash all your porn in :) from the gf xD

  • Is it FAT32 or NTFS?

  • @benjidb

You can format it to whatever you want to.

  • a little more showing, rather than telling would be better

    that's what video is for...

  • wow until u put your hands down i thought it was big lol

  • Ya maybe the smallest 2.5 inches portable hd, but don't forget that the Lacie Little Disk have the USB cable integrated in the chassis....not this Rikiki

  • how old are you?

  • @psycho6754 15 (But I was 14 when this was shot)

  • You made a lot of good points here

  • is this hard drive good if your just going to keep it at home and use it...

  • Yes, it would still do a great job! It's just that it's designed to be portable and taken with you but obviously you can just keep it has your Home/Office back-up drive.

    Hope I helped.

  • Hi Ravi,Nice loking drive you have there,Yet again very impressed with the quality of your video,That drive look's extremly good, something that i would pick up in an instant if and when i need a new one, this would be a very strong contender,I also like the look of where they have placed the Mini USB Port,as i find the normal placement on a portable to be in the way when a cable is plugged in to it,So thank's for the head's up on this,& keep em comming m8y :)

  • Firewire is not only for Mac's mate. I have two PCs with fireware 400 and 800 ports.
