@Bobtheother - Of course Bob, you can "go your way". Knock yourself out. I am sharing something very personal to me and if you and I ever knew each other and I heard your story and you heard mine, I would think differently about you perhaps. And you might hear something that could change you too....
@Lear23Driver Really? Where? Don't confuse belief w/fact. U choose to believe. I can't believe is something that makes no sense. U go your way, & I'll go mine.
@Bobtheother But, i told you Jesus does have something to do with salvation! I saw Jesus dressed in all white with a white cloth wrapped around his head Guarding the stairs to Heaven. If jesus was standing beside me... he would say i told you the truth. Don't delude yourselves into thinking otherwise.
@glower125 It takes brains to become a Jew. There's much to learn & comprehend. It ain't easy. Not like Xtianity where all one must do is accept the divinity of Jesus and POOF your a Xtian.
@dontquit1000 Oh, he was and is unbeleiveably significant! Over 1/3 of the World thinks he was/is G-d. How much more significant can 1 get? But, he was still a flesh & blood man. Not G-d incarnate and not the Messiah. I know u believe he's G-d, but the Jews of his time, who saw him and heard him didn't jump on the Christian band wagon b4 or after he was crucified. Y do u think that is?
@Bobtheother Jesus was God because the spirit of God dwelled within him. If man beleives in Jesus aka Yahshua Jesus also dwells in that man. It's ever so clear and simple. If we all worship Jesus, we become like Jesus because of the spirit of Jesus in us. So how much harder would it be to say Jesus was God, If God was in Jesus?
@dontquit1000 - The Spirit of G-d dwells in all men. R all men G-d? What's clear and simple is that u sincerely believe this. What's equally clear & simple is that u couldn't b more wrong. To worship a man, a creation, is idolatry. Period. Y do u think so few Jews accepted Jesus? Its idolatry, the worst sin against G-d one can commit. This is y Judaism & Christianity r mutually exclusive. Still waiting for chapter & verse.
@Bobtheother, If a man beleives and worships Jesus, then Jesus is in him. I didn't say Jesus is in all men but, if all men choose to beleive and worship Jesus then jesus would be in all men. There is only one man that is Jesus aka Yahshua who we supposed to beleive and worship.
@dontquit1000 Son, if been hearing that all my life. My simple response; why would I want a 2000 yr old dead rabbi in me? He was a man of tremendous historical importance. But, he was just a man. Not G-d. Not the Messiah. Just a man.
@Bobtheother I know Jesus was the Messiah because, he's guarding the stair way to Heaven i tell you the truth. What would that matter to you if you read that the so called Jews of that time "didn't jump on the Christian band wagon b4 or after he was crucified". That would mean your following man then... that's arleady an error. God who designed the everything saw fit to come in the flesh in a special way that he saw fit to save man...who amongst us can say God's way is wrong?
@dontquit1000 - U claim to believe in prophesy. The Messiah was prophesized. Jesus didn't fill a single criteria by which THE BIBLE said we were to know him. FYI - Jesus never claimed to be the Messiah. Also, the Messiah, when he comes, will be a man, SENT by G-d. Not G-d incarnate. Enough, platitudes. I'm still waiting for chapter & verse. If I don't see it/them in your next post, I'm done.
@dontquit1000 No platitudes or preaching is an improvement. Read my old responses to answer your question. I'll leave u w/1 sincere suggestion. Read the Bible. Know what it says b4 telling others what u think it says. Take your time. Think about what each part is trying to teach u. The Bible, particularly the OT, is remarkably accurate history, but the writers weren't historians. Each story illustrates a moral lesson. Read commentaries by respected biblical scholars, Jewish and Christian. Learn
@Bobtheother I'll leave u with 1 sincere suggestion, There are Truth's in this earth that cannot be broken, or bend...Hurry up and acknowledge JESUS aka Yashua is the only way to Salvation! The words out of my mouth has went out and your ears has heard peace friend.
@dontquit1000 I'm not saying G-d is wrong. I'm saying u r. ince u refuse 2 provide the chapter & verse that says people must go thru X, Y, Z 2b Jews, I'm done. It's been fun, but now its really boring. All u've got r platitudes & fantasies. U claim G-d says this & that, but can't say where in the Bible He says it. I've an Evangelical friend. We talk about religion 4 hrs on end. Her beliefs r firmly grounded in knowledge & understanding of the bible. She doesn't make it up as she goes. Bye bye.
@dontquit1000 - I did. U attribute things to the Bible that aren't there. Read it. Cover to cover. I don't mind that u disagree w/me. I mind that u can't tell me where the Bible supports your assertions. Good bye. Good luck. May G-d grant u understanding, insight, compassion, & tolerance. Baruch ha'Shem (G-d bless u)
@Bobtheother Futher more to this topic . If you think the MASSES can not be wrong, then why not believe in the devil( hasatan),1/3 of the angels in your book ( followed him. Surely he was something to follow, no? Yeshua was a man, who believe he was G-D. He died for his sins and will never come back.
@Emet5772 - I don't believe in Satan because he doesn't exist. Not referenced once in the Torah. How'd he have escaped mention if he existed? Also, u folks embue him w/god-like power. U never call him a god, but u describe him as one. That's idolatry. And, that is the greatest sin against God. U r preaching to the choir about Jesus. He may have been a great man, but he was just a man. So, of course, he hasn't returned & never will. Frankly, I'm not holding my breath for the Messiah either.
@Bobtheother Thats because you know him as Be'elzebub. Satan=the Destroyer. He doesn't have godlike power, the Messiah Yeshua sent him running away like a little girl when he was fasting in the wilderness.
@dolljewel, how do we know who are the real jews are they from isreal or are they Black? Because, for a while now i have been listening to the Hebrew black isrealites and they seem to make a pretty good case for them being the chosen Jews. Do you have any input on this situation?
@dontquit1000 - A "real" Jew is anyone who is Jewish, whether by birth or by conversion. If u r refering to ethnicity, both the ancient Hebrews & modern Jews (Euro & ME) r northern Semites (Arabs r southern Semites). We're identifiable as such geneticly. The "real" Black Jews whom I'm aware of are the Bete Yisroel (Falasha or Ethiopian Jews). But, even they have little in the way of Jewish markers. All genetic testing thus far indictates they're descended predominently of local African pops.
@Bobtheother, I don't think so! what about the bible and what it says about the real Jews and captivity? No such thing as someone being Jewish, your either "Jew" or not. A black person wouldn't be blackish would he, or a white man whiteish would he? Well we have a tribe in Africa who has the markers of the ancient Jews they are called the lemba people. I can't understand how someone would say they are Jews, and they haven't went through what the bible say the Jews would go through.
@Bobtheother God who knows the past, present, future and all things in between would say the Jews would be slaves and sold, and you think God would have gotten that wrong? Which history book is it in, that the so call Jews in Isreal or elsewhere have been slaves? Black, and white people come from black parents and your genealogist declares when he looks up a white person's lineage there isn't any black blood well how is that? I don't beleive nothing your genealogist says at all.
@dontquit1000 - Yes, and many of OUR ANCESTORS were slaves. Forced labor (corvee labor) in Egypt (Exodus). That is what the Bible refers to. Don't tell me u think that 2 b a Jew 1 must PERSONALLY experience slavery? Your last 2 sentences make no sense at all. The science of genetics is recognized by the scientific community worldwide. Refusing to accept that is as ridiculous as refusing to believe the world isn't flat.
@dontquit1000 - In your previous post u wrote "what about the bible and what it says about the real Jews and captivity?" What did u mean if not slavery? Vassals to conquorers? Stuck in a shitty marriage? What?
@dontquit1000 - Really? Where does it say that? Please quote chapter & verse. While ur trying 2 figure that out, I'm doing 2 save myself a bit of time . Originally, I thought u just didn't know. So, I tried to explain a bit 2 u. But, now I c that u don't understand the bible, at all. I don't know whether some lunatic planted these ideas in your head, or ur the lunatic who came up w/this nonsense yourself. No matter. I'm obviously talking to a brick. Pointless to continue. Good-bye & good luck
@dontquit1000 the only way u can move me is to quote chapter & verse that says that for one 2b a Jew, they have 2 go thru X, Y, Z. When I can pick up a bible & read those words, I'll come around and humbly apologize to u. Not b4.
@dontquit1000 - OK. I'll play a little longer. I ask again, where in the bible does it say that 2b a Jew 1 must experience certain events or tribulations? I'm not going any further with this until u address my question. Chapter & verse, nothing less.
@dontquit1000 - I think I c you confusion. U r confusing prophesies regarding the Jewish People as pertaining to individual Jews. Forever. I don't see how a reasonable person can make that kind of leap. All of the bad shit prophesised for us in the bible has happened TO US AS A PEOPLE. Not to each one of us, individually, in every generation, 4 Pete's sake!
@Bobtheother scientist can have ulterior motives! I don't beleive a word they say because their is so much distortion when it comes to the truth with them. I personally don't beleive you are the real Jews! Now one of us is lying as the bible declared, and are speaking blasphemy.
I have never heard of any person of any religion who is not allowed to come to a synagogue to see the service. You don't have to be thinking of conversion.
Being entirely observant of Shabbos (Shabbat) seems like too much to require of a person considering becoming a Jew. I think you can pick out just one thing you will do, such as light candles and focus on that until you think you can go further.
@sincerelyyours2000 - If your not sufficiently committed to conversion to go the whole 9 yds, rethink converting. That said, if you approach conversion as a process, concentrate on understanding what it means to be a Jew, not a trivial ritual. If you can understand what it means to be a Jew then the rest is easy. Empty ritual is meaningless. What's in your mind and heart are what really count.
@Bobtheother Thank you, Bob. I was born a Jew and am always trying to become more frum. From that perspective, I can suggest a person not be intimidated by the aspect of becoming a religious Jew by doing too many things at once. A gradual approach will do the same thing. I find all increase of observance is hard work. Yes, rewarding. Families don't like to change because one person has the desire to change. I don't eat in non-kosher restaurants and my family accommodates me.
@sincerelyyours2000 - Keeping kosher outside the home is a huge challenge. Even in NYC, aside from delis, kosher restaurants r few & far between. It only gets grimmer in other cities. I admire your self discipline & dedication. & your family for their support. Their willingness to limit themselves to respect your observance speaks well of them. &, I appreciate the absence of a condescending holier-than-thou tone in your discourse w/one who obviously doesn't share your level of observance.
@edgarh509. The soul can be ruined, not lost. Remember, there is no Hell in Judaism. God knows we're not perfect. The sincerity of our efforts means much more than a perfect record of compliance, One who performs the requirements, yet behaves hatefully will find God's displeasure. One who behaves righteously but had a ritual transgression, & SINCERELY atones for the transgression, will find himself in God's good graces. The spirit of the Law is always more important than the letter of the Law.
Shalom, Some ppl, are concern that Non-Jews take on the Shabbath, the Truth is that Non- Jews Can. HOW? See Rabbi. Asher MEza Chanel on the vid: ---> Non Jews can keep Shabbat fully! <-----
Is a Secret of Jona, he went to Ninive, the people converted their ways , they did, and returned to G-D .
Jewish people feel like an "itch" like a tzoras that a Non Jew is trying. and This is understandable. But The Jew still comandad to love the convert
They alternate between ignoring the teaching of Jesus Christ, and hating him outright. Not a healthy people; with them, it's all about the fight. Fight, fight, fight. They're all soldiers in an unwinnable war--and our government worships and adores them, because our government is stupid, right down to the last mail carrier.
"Re: forgiveness without sacrifices" -I am sorry, but have U actually read the Torah? IN Genesis,Father Abraham offered sacrifices (& tithes).A famous instance of this was at the sacrifice of Issac on Mount Moriah. Also,I strongly recommend that you review the detailed & mandated system of sacrifices outlined under the MosiacLaw for sin atonement; most holy places were slaughter houses w/ the blood of sacrifices. What U miss is the the Messiah will come 2X.The Law reveals the sinfulness of men
@shieldsff : If I have read? what kind of question is that? are you looking for a dispute? You stated truth , and closed with a : "Messiah will come 2X" (2nd time) ? REMEMBER sacrifices where accepted and also rejected by G-D.
Where does in the Torah it says that G-D accepts wicked, bad, not kosher, or unrequested sacrifice.?
@shieldsff I not sure what the act of sacrifice, perfom by Abraham hane anything to do with sin. Your question speaks about forgiveness of sin, no ? I will answer your comment or question with a question. Is it true that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin? I will give you your answer if you give me a reponse. I hope my english is good enough. My name is Shomer, I am a Jew.
@Bobtheother You did not understand my question, but now that I got your attention., I will ask you the same question. READ the question first, before you comment and PLEASE answer with SCRIPTURES not what you think. Okay, ( Is it true that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin?) I have never given my answer on this question you fool. Now answer it with SCRIPTURES and I will answer it in the same manner. Shomer, P.S. I know everything about my belief.
@shieldsff - The Judaism yourefer to is, literally, ancient history. Animal sacrifice ceased in the 1st century. It's been replaced by prayer in Rabbinic Judaism, which is the Judaism that's been practiced for the last 1900 yrs., longer that Christianity's been practiced, far longer than its been practiced in northern & western Europe. The Torah stops in the 2nd century BCE. Judaism didn't stop developing 2200 yrs ago. It was just getting started.
I am interested in Judaism, but I just left Christianity less than a week ago. I'm pretty shaken up because I've had Christian beliefs for 28 years. I'm not ready to dive into Judaism yet. I just want some alone time with the One God.....sigh.
@ATouchOfMagic88 Your mother does not have to be Jewish in most Judaism, but if you were not raised Jewish and bar mitzvahed and you are a quarter by blood, you will probably have to convert.
@ATouchOfMagic88 Sorry as far as i know considering yourself Jewish (means little), your Rabbi, will ask for your family tree. if your mom roots branch to a male whom married a goya whom give birth to your female lineage ancestors, very likely you are not Jewish but you are able to think and convert if you are ready. Advice to ppl. if you are a male...do not intermarry... if you are a female Jewish u kinda get loose on this one cuz the Jewish line is mother based, not father.
@whyteay Woah,be very care full,Jesus is the way, truth and life.He is the only way to eternal life. The Son of God and only way to the father.God bless you!
@TheKith88 - The Torah disagrees with that belief. It says the only way to God is through living a righteous life thru observance of His Laws. Judaism doesn't have Satan or Hell. It doesn't need a boogy man to frighten Jews into observance. Nowhere does Judaism claim that it's the ONLY way to God. Judaism doesn't resort to fear tactics. This, among others, appeals to me far more than anything Xtianity has to offer. No offense intended. U r entitled to your way, we're entitled to ours.
@Bobtheother I understand the torah.I just dont understand how the Jewish people cant see Yahshua all over the Torah. He is the Angel of the Lord. When Abraham was to be sacrificed as an offering to G-d,it was a Parallel to Yahshua's Sacrifice.Yahshua was Sacrificed on that very spot. But that is my belief and I mean 0 offence.
@TheKith88 - U only think u understand it. I see Jesus nowhere in the Torah. 2u the Angel of the Lord who stayed Avraham's hand was obviously Jesus. 2 me he was so obviously an angel. No connection to Jesus at all. BTW - Mt. Calvary is near Mt. Moria, but it isn't Mt Moria. If there was ANYTHING in the Torah that prophesied Jesus, we'd all b Xtians. What u see is what U READ INTO IT. We don't read anything into it. We take it as it is. No disrespect, but I will die a Jew, just like Jesus did.
@Bobtheother Nah,i'm fairly sure i know it.Of course your not going to see it now.But when He returns it will be the 2nd time for christians and it will be like the first time for Jews.Anyways.G-D bless.
@Bobtheother I have seen Jesus, and God, and witness a glimpse of Heaven I tell you the truth. Jesus aka Yahshua is an important factor in all this bob... for i seen Jesus guarding the stairs to heaven an none can enter without Jesus aka Yahshua.
@Bobtheother Do me a favor Moshe ( bob). Stop talking about being a Jew if you cannot., read SCRIPTURES. All I read here is what you feel not what is written. My english is not so good, but I can tell you what it is to be a Jew. Please people use SCRIPTURE to prove your point. This favor is requested from not only a Jew but also an Israeli ,who also happens to be a rebbe (english- rabbi). I wish to practise my english, so who ever would like to talk to me, english please.
Hello - I heard You saying in this video - "in the past life" - does this mean that Jewish people believe in reincarnation of some sort?? - It seems to me that I heard some saying yes - like you just mentioned - (am I right?) - and some saying that it is a pagan idea. So which one is it????? Please if you could answer - I am sincerely asking. Thanks!
Shalom @pawel86able : A reincarnation is called "Gilgul" we are in a world of tikun, constant work to get back to the creator that’s why we desperately seek beauty and perfection,(impossible to achieve perfection in this world,)so we seek to understand the portion for us, in order to comprehend our task and elevate ourselves to an estate of life. a long and complex topic,u can see many vids, here, essays and Rabbi opinions about it. Wishing you a week of Torah study
I'm 15 and converting to Reform Judaism. I live in SC so there aren't alot of Temples. But I plan on converting to Conservative when I get older(around college)
@Lizbroome12 : Mazel tov! good for you I see you are a young and G-D fearing ladie, also u want to grow more and more spiritually speaking. I am so proud of you, I truly admire your will in the sense that you are thinking about soul matters instead of other studies or paths.
@Lizbroome12 LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!..how funny is this shit....now this messed up bitch is pretending to be a 15 yr old redneck ..HAHA..i been to north carolina..even the jews there don't wanna be jews...
@crackwhorepimp1 a fifteen year old red neck. Yeah totally. I'm going to be the bigger person. say what you want. FYI i'm not a redneck. It's kinda hard to be one when you half haitian half cherokee
@Lizbroome12 - Liz, u obviously r the bigger person. U've got the heart & the temperment. I suspect u'd b an excellent add'n to our tribe. Read the Book of Ruth. If u've already read it, read it again. It teachs much. It teaches that Judaism is there for all. It teaches that fools like crackheadtwit 1 r everywhere & won't make it easy. It teaches that in the end, Ruth was a better Jew than any of the morons who rejected her. B sure this is what u want. I thank God every day that I'm a Jew.
What most people refer to as the "Jews' is only one tribe of the 12 Tribes of Yisrael..those from Yehudah, and some from Binyamin and a little of Levi) So the Torah was not given to 'Jews' only, but to ALL the 12 tribes. Further the Creator of the universe YHWH is not the Author of the religion of Judaism. Judaism is a mixture - of Torah and man made laws and traditions. So to follow and obey the Creator, we must discard the man made and embrace only Torah. YHWH made covenant with only 1 people
@sunrisesotrue All Jews belive in one G-D. Reform, conservative, orthodox, have same beliefs ,just differnt degrees of observances. G-D is ALL and ONE, including me.
I was born Catholic & left the Church many years ago, I drifted to many different religious denominations, I was miserable, I have since returned to the Church & in truth I have never being happier.
I think that we sometimes rebel against our heritage & leave for the wrong reasons, but it takes us to leave to realise what is important, life is to short for misery, Peace & love to all people searching for the truth.
Eventhough I did not grow up Jew my father bought me with the blood of the Mesiah Yeshua and I am His people if only all "Christian" kept his commandments I love you so much and your instructional videos :) Yhv bless you
Thank you Toda for your videos I am a follower of Yeshua and want to keep ALL His Commandments just want to tell you that there are many of us followers of Yeshua they call us Christians here in United States and some of us refer to ourselves as Christians because that is what Americans understand there seems to be a rise of this movement of my father....and I believe that he will unite Jews and all who follow HIM to be one people
I used to attend a Reform synagogue and it did nothing for me... I've since decided to convert to Orthodox Judaism because I feel the commandments bring me closer to HaShem, and these views and beliefs are those I wish to pass onto my children and future generations.
Shalom @BowieLovinJew : I am so happy for you, thank you very much for your comment , May be G-D will that you hear Torah from your great grand children!
Just to tell people, not all jews follow these rules, there is reform Judaism in the United States. In my opinion your observance can differ depending on your views.
@pboisei ; you are totally correct!!, there are other streams of Judaism, but sadly the state of Ysrael only recognize Orthdx & conservative convertions, maybe your 3Rd generation of Jewish kids may follow other streams, but when you are a convert there is not much tolerance from Rabbis to go reform.
@Dolljewel Actually only Orthodox conversions are recognized here.
While it is true Reform & Conservative conversions are recognized for citizenship/aliyah purposes only those converts & their offspring can not marry here in Israel as only Orthodox rabbis are recognized as legit here
@Dolljewel I converted Reform & now live in a very large strict Hasidic community in the UK, renound as one of the strictest in the world. The rav in charge of conversions her wouldnt even use the word 'Rabbi' in front of the local Reform rav's name.
The Reform Amidah is at besthevey doctord at worse not even Kosher, the later parts of the Shemah arent Kosher.
I'm now converting orthodox but dont keep shabbat or holidays at the moment, there to lonley. I'd sooner be in prison.
@IWantToConvertToYou : its ovboius you are not a kid, you are a hater, sick minded antisemite. you are so blocked! (I know you will read this since you will need a new profile, I'll hunt your EVIL profile, until you tube remove's it)
Another fake israelitie, hebrew, fucking khazaar-ashkenazie turkic people hijacking someone else's land, and claiming to be descendents of biblical jews. What a joke.
@AntiKyrgyz You are technically right, but you still sound pretty harsh. That said, I don't care whether my fellow Ashkenazics want to live in Israel.
dolljewel, you are so very beautiful!!! i love watching your videos!! i live in the united states where it isnt common to wear a tichel (tikhel) or keep the sabbath. all i've ever known are "christian" churches untill recently. about six weeks ago i started attending a judaic service where i am learning the Torah, now i am studying more things. i ask you, what is kabballa?
@offairhead: Mazel tov!!! Kabbalah means from Mouth to Ear, (literal meaning) Kabbalah is the deeper study of the atributes of G-D , Is based on Torah as been Jewish Kabbalah. Before was banned to teach Single men and women or younger than 40, now this days is allowed.

The Bible, particularly the OT, is remarkably accurate history, but the writers weren't historians. Each story illustrates a moral lesson. Read commentaries by respected biblical scholars, Jewish and Christian. Learn

Bobtheother 1 week ago
@Bobtheother Thats because you know him as Be'elzebub. Satan=the Destroyer. He doesn't have godlike power, the Messiah Yeshua sent him running away like a little girl when he was fasting in the wilderness.

@dolljewel, how do we know who are the real jews are they from isreal or are they Black? Because, for a while now i have been listening to the Hebrew black isrealites and they seem to make a pretty good case for them being the chosen Jews. Do you have any input on this situation?
dontquit1000 1 month ago
@dontquit1000 - A "real" Jew is anyone who is Jewish, whether by birth or by conversion. If u r refering to ethnicity, both the ancient Hebrews & modern Jews (Euro & ME) r northern Semites (Arabs r southern Semites). We're identifiable as such geneticly. The "real" Black Jews whom I'm aware of are the Bete Yisroel (Falasha or Ethiopian Jews). But, even they have little in the way of Jewish markers. All genetic testing thus far indictates they're descended predominently of local African pops.
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@Bobtheother, I don't think so! what about the bible and what it says about the real Jews and captivity? No such thing as someone being Jewish, your either "Jew" or not. A black person wouldn't be blackish would he, or a white man whiteish would he? Well we have a tribe in Africa who has the markers of the ancient Jews they are called the lemba people. I can't understand how someone would say they are Jews, and they haven't went through what the bible say the Jews would go through.
dontquit1000 3 weeks ago
@Bobtheother God who knows the past, present, future and all things in between would say the Jews would be slaves and sold, and you think God would have gotten that wrong? Which history book is it in, that the so call Jews in Isreal or elsewhere have been slaves? Black, and white people come from black parents and your genealogist declares when he looks up a white person's lineage there isn't any black blood well how is that? I don't beleive nothing your genealogist says at all.
dontquit1000 3 weeks ago
@dontquit1000 - Yes, and many of OUR ANCESTORS were slaves. Forced labor (corvee labor) in Egypt (Exodus). That is what the Bible refers to. Don't tell me u think that 2 b a Jew 1 must PERSONALLY experience slavery? Your last 2 sentences make no sense at all. The science of genetics is recognized by the scientific community worldwide. Refusing to accept that is as ridiculous as refusing to believe the world isn't flat.
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@Bobtheother You mean like slaves in ships that type of slavery?
dontquit1000 3 weeks ago
@dontquit1000 - In your previous post u wrote "what about the bible and what it says about the real Jews and captivity?" What did u mean if not slavery? Vassals to conquorers? Stuck in a shitty marriage? What?
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@Bobtheother, I'm telling you to be Jew you must go through what the bible and God declares would happen.
dontquit1000 3 weeks ago
@dontquit1000 - Really? Where does it say that? Please quote chapter & verse. While ur trying 2 figure that out, I'm doing 2 save myself a bit of time . Originally, I thought u just didn't know. So, I tried to explain a bit 2 u. But, now I c that u don't understand the bible, at all. I don't know whether some lunatic planted these ideas in your head, or ur the lunatic who came up w/this nonsense yourself. No matter. I'm obviously talking to a brick. Pointless to continue. Good-bye & good luck
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@Bobtheother, talking to a brick really ouch! come on Bob really?
dontquit1000 3 weeks ago
@dontquit1000 the only way u can move me is to quote chapter & verse that says that for one 2b a Jew, they have 2 go thru X, Y, Z. When I can pick up a bible & read those words, I'll come around and humbly apologize to u. Not b4.
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@dontquit1000 - OK. I'll play a little longer. I ask again, where in the bible does it say that 2b a Jew 1 must experience certain events or tribulations? I'm not going any further with this until u address my question. Chapter & verse, nothing less.
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@dontquit1000 - I think I c you confusion. U r confusing prophesies regarding the Jewish People as pertaining to individual Jews. Forever. I don't see how a reasonable person can make that kind of leap. All of the bad shit prophesised for us in the bible has happened TO US AS A PEOPLE. Not to each one of us, individually, in every generation, 4 Pete's sake!
Bobtheother 3 weeks ago
@Bobtheother scientist can have ulterior motives! I don't beleive a word they say because their is so much distortion when it comes to the truth with them. I personally don't beleive you are the real Jews! Now one of us is lying as the bible declared, and are speaking blasphemy.

I have never heard of any person of any religion who is not allowed to come to a synagogue to see the service. You don't have to be thinking of conversion.
Being entirely observant of Shabbos (Shabbat) seems like too much to require of a person considering becoming a Jew. I think you can pick out just one thing you will do, such as light candles and focus on that until you think you can go further.
sincerelyyours2000 1 month ago
@sincerelyyours2000 - If your not sufficiently committed to conversion to go the whole 9 yds, rethink converting. That said, if you approach conversion as a process, concentrate on understanding what it means to be a Jew, not a trivial ritual. If you can understand what it means to be a Jew then the rest is easy. Empty ritual is meaningless. What's in your mind and heart are what really count.
Bobtheother 4 weeks ago
@Bobtheother Thank you, Bob. I was born a Jew and am always trying to become more frum. From that perspective, I can suggest a person not be intimidated by the aspect of becoming a religious Jew by doing too many things at once. A gradual approach will do the same thing. I find all increase of observance is hard work. Yes, rewarding. Families don't like to change because one person has the desire to change. I don't eat in non-kosher restaurants and my family accommodates me.
sincerelyyours2000 3 weeks ago
@sincerelyyours2000 - Keeping kosher outside the home is a huge challenge. Even in NYC, aside from delis, kosher restaurants r few & far between. It only gets grimmer in other cities. I admire your self discipline & dedication. & your family for their support. Their willingness to limit themselves to respect your observance speaks well of them. &, I appreciate the absence of a condescending holier-than-thou tone in your discourse w/one who obviously doesn't share your level of observance.

What would happen in Judaism if one person doesn't keep the Shabbat? Does he/she would lose their soul? Shalom
edgarh509 1 month ago
edgarh509 Nothing happens. It's a personal achievement, something you keep working on.
sincerelyyours2000 1 month ago

Is a Secret of Jona, he went to Ninive, the people converted their ways , they did, and returned to G-D .
Jewish people feel like an "itch" like a tzoras that a Non Jew is trying. and This is understandable. But The Jew still comandad to love the convert

What U miss is the the Messiah will come 2X.The Law reveals the sinfulness of men
shieldsff 2 months ago
@shieldsff : If I have read? what kind of question is that? are you looking for a dispute? You stated truth , and closed with a : "Messiah will come 2X" (2nd time) ? REMEMBER sacrifices where accepted and also rejected by G-D.
Where does in the Torah it says that G-D accepts wicked, bad, not kosher, or unrequested sacrifice.?
Shabbath Shalom

@shieldsff I not sure what the act of sacrifice, perfom by Abraham hane anything to do with sin. Your question speaks about forgiveness of sin, no ? I hope my english is good enough. My name is Shomer, I am a Jew.

@Bobtheother You did not understand my question, but now that I got your attention., I will ask you the same question. READ the question first, before you comment and PLEASE answer with SCRIPTURES not what you think. Okay, ( Is it true that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin?) I have never given my answer on this question you fool. Now answer it with SCRIPTURES and I will answer it in the same manner. Shomer, P.S. I know everything about my belief.
Emet5772 3 weeks ago

Bobtheother 4 weeks ago
@Bobtheother I understand the torah.I just dont understand how the Jewish people cant see Yahshua all over the Torah. He is the Angel of the Lord. When Abraham was to be sacrificed as an offering to G-d,it was a Parallel to Yahshua's Sacrifice.Yahshua was Sacrificed on that very spot. But that is my belief and I mean 0 offence.
TheKith88 4 weeks ago
