The music is to far below the voice, You need a better mix. I suggest a cheap mic. mixer form radio shack and get your mix right then you will have not just a good but a great product. Good voice and singing I like it and I am very critical about music.

I use basic gear and a headset mic.

It would be wonderful to have somebody with the right gear "do a job" on it. I would love that. However, I cannot see that happening. I do try hard to balance the mic. and the music in each offering, but it is very difficult to get it right.
