@shinyshinx76 This is just a normal soft white brush. I NEVER use the burn/dodge tool ( i dont like their effects, imo they make your picture ugly) So just huge soft white brush.

Hi,

I have a problem. When I'm coloring, the color gets expanded to much and gets the black border line thinner. I tried to use a selection, but is the same result, the black border line gets thinner. I would like that the black border line stays the same as always. Any solution?

@shadytuni Hmm i think i know what you mean. Make sure the black border line is infront of your color layer.

how u do it ? when i try to paint with the brush most of the time i got out the edges. how do u select it ? if u are using all the time the brush?

@cheetahofpolarlights Ive been working with photoshop since 2006 . And for the hair i just shade on different layers and then color the bottom layer, the top layers will then remain untouched.

@LinkinPark673 I have had one in the past. The only difference i found it having is yes it cuts your time in less then half =)... perhaps its just not for me, besides not everyone can afford one. Maybe im just tryna prove you dont need one to make a nice picture. Just lots of patience >.>...but good luck with ur new tablet =) im sure ull do great (with or without one) ^^.

Nice drawing, and coloring ^_-

To color the lines of ur drawing:

1st, make a new layer just above the layer of ur line art. (let's call it "line color" layer to avoid confusion)

2nd place ur mouse between both layers, then hold ALT and click! (in ur "line color" layer, there will appear an arrow pointing down)

3rd, set the blending mode of ur "line color" layer to "screen"

4th, stay in ur "line color" layer, then use a paint brush with ur chosen color and stroke on the line u want to color...

@batusawa Sounds like a real complicated way to do... I just outline on differend layers then ''lock pixels'' then brush over it (with the right color) :)

If it was as easy as MS paint, it would suck just as much as MS paint. Even your responses show your stubbornness and impatience. :s And this IS youtube.
