I was a big fan of old spaceborne combat simulators like X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter but I never got to play Freespace. It'd be nice to see a real-time-tactical version of that old game with the Nexus engine though.

I see. Is this the classic sound effect from the game? I still think the Siege Laser firing noise from the original Nexus is one of the most "charismatic" sound effects I've heard in a long time.

Most probably will, but not right now. I barely have anything to show at this moment except 3 or 4 classic Freespace ships. Still a long way to go...

Yeah, that's one of the beam sounds from Freespace, although I've been told, it's the wrong one ;)
Oh well, haven't played Freespace for a long time...
