@xime0001 normally you would connect a LED anode to positive and cathode to negative now you want it to detect light and emit light at the same time to detect light you need to connect the anode to -3v and you will receive about 1.5v at the cathode if light of nearly the same frequency the led emits is shined on it another way is you could use it as a photo-capacitor were you will connect it backwards to charge it and connect the anode to ground and recieve the charge from the anode when light
@0111649116 hi i'm trying do the same project in a spartan 3E and i have some questions, were you use a ADC or you take the time of discharge? and i'm doing the first test but i do not have good results, i cannot see the cpacitor curve with the led, if you can help me thanks
@xime0001 is shined on it . to make it light and be a photo sensor you need a micro-controller to switch polarity for it and read the voltage coming out.
that's crazy dude! does it change colour with how far away you get?
