You're using the Wrong type of reverb. There are many different types & what makes it even more worse, is that every company names them differently!

You need to use something called 'Studio' Reverb Ok? Because at the moment, you voice sounds like it's part of the Back, opposed to up front. Studio Reverb controls The Wet affect you get, without taking away the Dry. I recommend Adobe Audition 3.0 for beginners in Vocal Processing. Otherwise u can pick up Cool Edit Pro for free nowadays.

Well, you got one part right. The ratio between dry and wet audio signal is a bit too much on the wet side.

"Studio reverb" is a basic reverb preset that comes with every reverb effect plugin. Studio reverb imitates the acoustics of a studio. After that comes the dry/wet signal mixing. Whether this is possible or not depends on the plugin or the DAW software.

In AA 3.0 though, "Studio reverb" is a simple plugin that's easy on the CPU meant for live monitoring. That's why it's called "Studio".

Fascinating. You can tell I'm not fully versed in AA, as only use it here & there as I'm Analog, & therefore avoid Pluggins. Not that they don't subsume the industry standard. But I found that the Digital sounds from plauggins, no matter how expensive the VST was, I couldn't achieve those gorgeous random results you get with voltage passing through physical components. It's those little errors that create an organic feel. For treatment it's ok though.
