I remember going on this ride every year from the time i was like 5 until i was like 8 years old, I loved this ride, it was soo cool. Brings back lots of memories!
This brings back so many great memories. My family and I would ride this several times in a row (besides being one of the best rides in the park, it was also a great escape from the summer heat). I loved the people that would come in because the lines at the flashier rides were too long, not knowing what to expect, and be totally blown away by how much fun this was..
Thanks weatherguru76!! This was the last ride we took at Busch Gardens back in November 1992 and the first simulator ride EVER!! I remember the attendant saying it was the best ride in the park. She was right!! I LOVE these simulator rides!!
it really scares me that this ride doesn't exist anymore. i grew up in plant city and went there a lot so i was really mad when they replaced this ride with that stupid fucking martin short thing where he makes fun of arabs
I remember this ride from my younger years in summer camp. They should have never gotten rid of this one, best simulator, better then star-tours at mgm. It has been replaced by another simulator called corkscrew hill (which is so-so) glad someone posted this, ahh, the memories!
at busch in virginia, it's where corkscrew hill is now. and at busch in tampa, it's in egypt, between the jumping show hall of fame and the arcade machines. the theming is still half there from akbar's but the ride is long gone... the actual building however is still used for howl o scream.
Its neat to see old videos of Busch Gardens. This looks like an interesting ride. Its too bad I didn't get to experience Questor. I didnt even get a chance to ride Akbar either...
No it isn't. It used to be opened seasonally. It was officially demoilshed with all usable props and parts sent to other Busch parks. It ran for the last time in January. The space is occasionally used for other events mostly seasonal ones like Howl O Scream. It's the sight of the radiation leak themed house this year.
i have heard that AAT was shut down when the company responsible for the ride went out of business which made it harder for BG to find specific parts for the ride.
Damn, I rode this in 93 at the age of 8. This is the first time I've seen this in 19 years. Thanks for posting this.

lol...i gotta laugh at myself because i cried the first and only time i rode this. i was like 6 or 7. that waterfall part was no joke.

Great ride! The plunge down the waterfall was just as good as the first drop on the Cyclone roller coaster in Coney Island. You really felt it.

I truly am among the last greatest generation. This ride was killed a couple years after I first rode it.
A pity what the kids today have missed. Original NES, old Legos, Doug, Pete and Pete, etc.

I always say the same thing. Everyone born after around, say 1993, has missed out on the great renaissance of child entertainment that was the 90s

sheesh i wasn't even born before this ride was demolished and i'm 13

Thank you for posting this. Loved this ride. Went to BGE every year with my mother (sadly who passed away) and we enjoyed this ride so much.

No problem. This was one of my favorite rides from back in the day. Too bad it's no longer open for others' enjoyment.

I never rode this. I have never even heard of it? What is it now? Where is it now? I know it is closed but where was the building?

I always loved this! The one in Busch Gardens Europe is replaced by Corkscrew Hill...not as good as Questor, in my opinion

I'll never understand why, but this was one of my favorite rides at Busch Gardens when I was younger. I was crushed when Akbar took its place.

I remember this one from Busch Gardens Williamsburg back in the day. There was a long cave leading to the ride. Thanks for posting this!

to aliensamurai360, Questor was replaced by Akbar's Adventure Tours, but this ride is only open seasonally

This is a classic. Thanks! I have been looking for that for a long time! I also miss Akbar's Adventure Tours from Busch Gardens Tampa.

Questor was the shit dude. Akbar was nothing compared to the original.
