  • I think the ball was barely out of his hands. This year there was this controversial buzzer beater between Michigan State and Wisconsin. The building clock and shot clock times were out of sync. Originally they counted it but after review they overturned it.

  • they shoulda just given the ball to mike snaer

  • Florida State got a revenge buzzer beater a day or two ago, Go Noles

  • derwin kitchen get back to kitchen

  • So the buzz is supposed to sound after the ball enters the basket?

  • @ItzTooSik The ball has to be out of the player's hands/fingers when the red buzzer light goes off. This is the closest one I have ever seen.

  • Awh. the bald guy is happy :D

  • damn acc refs. shit was good

  • that shot was good

  • still good

  • it is good dum ref

  • he got it offfffffffffffffff wtf

  • yea i dont get the ball is out of his hands at .2 but that means the tv clock is off

  • hmm...no top comment, its my chance....PINEAPPLE

  • @jewishmaniac thats just a terrible attempt to be a top comment....awful

  • I hope Mr. Kitchen has a sister.

  • if you look at it, ESPN froze the frame way after the clock hit 0. sick shot by Kitchen, but this wasn't all that close.

  • its weird when i watched it live i thought it was obviously still in his hands so i was wondering why fsu was going crazy, turned out to be a lot closer than i thought

  • Pause at 0:12 its out of his hand with 0.1 left..

  • @wildones0001hacks Umm no. It wasn't.

  • orgasm at 1:02

  • @kalookakoo5 it was the right call r u blind?

  • HAHAHA FUCK FSU GO UF!

  • @BellSouthSucks lol did that troll make you feel better about yourself?

  • @tgweeve but the buzzer is off at 0.2

  • @pedrownthewall yes, you are right: I. Buzzer is off at ~0.2. ... and by going on... II. EPSN clock is not official.

  • didn't really matter tech still didn't make the ncaa tournament and florida state did

  • the buzzer sounds before

  • according to the clock espn, shoot in time.the ball leaves his hands with 0.2

    0:11

  • @tgweeve ESPN is just a translator, not official. All matches are based on the clock in the arena, not TV.

  • Comment removed

  • Va Tech's coach is an asshole. Has to get a bad call to win and talks as if his team dominated.

  • @DoctaSmoove That was not a bad call... It was a good call. Are you blind?

  • @ConsumingFire39 not enough evidence to overturn

  • @DoctaSmoove What? They have a freeze frame shot of the ball still in his hand with the clock at 0.

  • pause at 12 seconds the ball is clearly out of his hands the computer replays are more faster than real time

  • @RoboRoadKill i just can remember you that both replays and "real time" speed are caught by cameras. The only (at this case) diference is cameras abilities to capture more frames at the same duration (second- time unit). Other words, we call it "real time" because it looks like normal speed when we watch games, but its only just frame catching.

  • @spinazspinaz no if basketball leagues want to really diside in these half a millisecond shots they need a faster shooting camera to really see if it was out of the hands or not.

  • if u quickly tap pause/play you'll see the light come on with the ball still touching his hand. right call.

  • Looked liked it should have been good to me. At the exact instant it leaves his hand the clock reads zero

  • floridaa statee lostt buhh heyy virginaa techh whoss goinn too thee sweett 16 nn whoo gott thierr assess kickedd inn NIT??

  • if you pause the video at 12 seconds it says theres .1 seconds left and its out of his hands? their tv scoreboard is off that explains the buzzer

  • @omgimonfireee thats true

  • @omgimonfireee

You go by the time on top of the basket. The horn sounded and red light came on with 0.00 seconds left. It was the right call.

  • wow i just stopped it at 13 secs and the red light is on with 0.2 secs remaining

  • @Shane2fsu Tv clock and the real clock are off by like 0.3 seconds.

  • why does the red light come on with time still remaining and why does the horn sound when there is half second left

  • wow the horn sounded at 0.5 secs remaining

  • If you stop this at 13 secs you will see that the red light comes on before the game is actually over. Its at 0.1 secs and the red light is on and the ball looks to be out at that point. I dont think the officials looked at the clock, I think they were judging from the red light.......the light isnt always right though as seen here. Great shot.

  • @Shane2fsu you should judge on arena clock, not TV clock.

  • it was the right call but thats such crap. basketball shouldnt have the review system. i freaking hate reviews. the call on the field should stand no matter what. except for in football. theres too much to look for in football for the refs to get it close to right 100% of the time.

  • @hiyaman2, what the hell? Why should a bad call stand when it takes a very short amount of time to review the call, a call that is very easy to review? That makes absolutely no sense. You hate reviews because the team you wanted to win lost. It's an incredibly irrational response. Way too much to look for in football but not in basketball? That makes no sense. With buzzer beaters we are talking tenths of seconds between good and not good; no human will get that right 100% of the time.

  • They had the frame showing 0.0 seconds and his fingertips on the ball. This is basketball.

  • Oh, please!!! Invest in an HD TV. I single-stepped my (HD!) DVR and there is *NO* doubt - none, zero, zilch. If you can't get your head out of your butt enough to form a rational, impartial opinion then PLEASE have the common decency to be quiiet!!! Lord have mercy - MOVE ON!!!

  • Bad call, not enough evidence. It's liek a fumble in football. If they don't get the camera angles when he fumbled it they can't overturn it.

  • They should have reviewed Va Techs basket Delaney stepped out of bounds on the endline. Oh well were dancin and your not.

  • Maybe Va Tech can get a review to get in the tourney

  • The NCAA Selection Committee is a piece of shit. They're bias against VA Tech and it's obvious. Go to hell selection committee

  • haha i was like NOOOO!!!!!!!

then i was like HELLL YEAHHH!!!!!

  • bad call

  • Can you imagine being a referee and having to decide this?

  • why is it for the win and its only the 2nd quarter?

  • @YoungFreshWild 2nd HALF. 2 Halves in College Basketball.

  • @YoungFreshWild

2nd half...be a nice final score if it was only the 2nd quarter

  • @YoungFreshWild 2nd half

  • @apop99 oh

  • I think it is a good call. The refs have more angles to look at then what was shown.

  • I'm not even sure the FBI forensic team could have use that footage to be sure the ball was still touching the hand when the backboard lit up.

the court call should have stand

  • That call should never have been overturned. There was not conclusive evidence that the ball was still touching the hand. You just cannot tell with that camera angle.

    BAD CALL IMO.

  • @EHSFFL It was pretty clear the ball was still in his hand.

  • As a gator fan...this made smile...but i felt kinda bad for Em

  • Light comes on as the ball is still on the fingertips. Good call, even if I don't like the outcome.

  • bad call

  • There was not enough evidence to overturn this. Such a bad call.

  • @rbriest There obviously was if the refs were able to overturn the call.

  • I watched this one over and over

    good call

  • ACC fix game

  • Awesome videography...

  • The local coverage that I was watching had a much better angle of the shot which clearly showed that the ball was still on his fingers as the clock expired. It was the right call.

  • good call

  • Honestly, from my standpoint, if there is enough evidence to overturn it, then yes it shouldn't count, but from what I saw I didn't see enough evidence. Therefore Florida State should have won the game. But what I did see was that it looked like Kitchen got the ball off his fingertip as the clock reached triple zeros. But it depends on how one looks at it. I think he got it off.

  • Up to the refs but that one seems awfully close to so definitely say it doesn't count. If you can't tell, the rule is to stick with the call made on the floor.

  • you could not tell from the replay hense there was no indesputeable evidence that the shot wasn't good, which means this was FSU's win and once agian the ACC blows in everything. FSU to SEC

  • Well, I think they blew the call on this one. I expanded the video to FullScreen, and kept hitting Pause/Play. I had a paused screen shot with the ball in the air (about 3ft from the shooter's hand), and the clock clearly showing 0.1 seconds. VT stole one this time, but they'll get blown out by Duke.

  • so close.....

  • no :(

  • thats hard...

  • doesn't get closer than that, but the right call was made.

  • That was a BS call!!!

  • He giveth, then, he taketh...

  • wow what a finish
