There's something about the power of a bass that really rocks my world. So if I'm playing along with a song or with a group I love to play bass. However, if I'm on my own, I automatically pick up a guitar to play around, e.g., songs, riffs, scales, etc. which I never do with a bass - Ron
Many thanks for the feedback. I'd love to take credit for the vocals but I can't. :( I'm just playing rhythm guitar and bass over the original track. Thanks again for viewing - Ron
That's a very nice thing to say dude. One of the really positive aspects of YouTube is that lets us share and exchange ideas. I really appreciate the feedback - as you know a lot of work can go into producing a music video so its really nice when they are viewed and have some sort of impact - Ron
Thanks Cassandra, I'd never heard of these guys before. However, this song is in a "Buick" commercial that plays over and over during the hockey games - we all watch hockey in Canada :-) Who knew something good could come from a car commercial? Talk to you soon - Ron
@iamRottenRon Wow that is amazing, I have never heard of them before either, but you really aced their sound.. cheers, have a great weekend coming up, smiles
It's a Godin Detour (Canadian) guitar. I bought it used a few weeks ago mainly for the sound - a real screamer when pushed. It's also light and well balanced which are characteristics that I love about my bass - Ron
Thanks dude. I would like to think that I'm staying reasonably true to myself by picking songs that I like and that suit me even though I know some of them will not attract any views. Later - Ron
do you like bass or guitar better?
