She deserved to win big time, she has my second favourite evening gown of any Miss USA/Universe/Teen USA pageant I've seen, second only to Mariah Bergmann's aqua coloured gown that she wore as Miss Teen Kansas in 1997. As for Charlotte's dress, it was the perfect shade of pink and it suited her perfectly, well done!
Wow ..Very well spoken. Read her story, she is a true survivor. She was definetly the best choice. Per Wikipedia she was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. Does she speak Spanish? She seemed she had all the potential to be a succesful young woman. What is she doing now?
Who is this judge Gorrisen that always gave her the lowest score?
Interesting to know, the Miss Universe 1993 (Dayanara Torres) who helped set Charlotte's crown was also born in Puerto Rico. She also had a cinderella story.
Charlotte owned this pageant from the very beginning!! If she hand't won that night there would probably have been a revolution!! There was no contest.....the title was hers from the beginning.....I remember jumping up and down when she won!!
I remember watching that pageant when I was a teen. I was praying she would win, and cried when she did. It was one of my favorite competitions of all time.
