So i got my grandpas bug and its the regular kind. but is baja a completly different kind of car? or is it just like a trickout regular bug.

It's a modified vw bug. If your grandpa's bug is in nice shape, it would be a shame to do this to it. You can find some good shells in the junk yard.

Cars like this generally sell for 15 to 20 k, depending on the modifications.

Look at the number on the car..... This car didn't run the class 5, it ran class 14.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. It was tested in the 2007 Baja 1000. We broke the transmission in the race but since have replaced it with a stronger one. This car is SCORE inspected, aproved and ready to race.
