What's the point of cars like this? Only a tiny group of people can afford them, any hot hatch can outperform any supercar in real conditions (ie on a public road) and if you do drive one of these on a public road, everyone will automatically assume you have a one inch dick. Ferrari's give you comfort, styling and looks. I'm not saying this is a bad car it really is beautiful indeed but, I think Ferrari's look built better, Lambo's in my opinion tend to look a little bit cheap and are to chiseled but I would still buy one. :)

I love everything about the Aventador except for the rear end and the mirrors....oh God, what did they do to the mirrors?!!! Those long stiff stick-like mirrors on the murielago were gorgeous, even though they were always black and didn't match the rest of the car. And it's real frustrating that Lamborghini decided to make the Aventador's mirrors match the car now that they look like the Gallardo's. Oh well though. The most beautiful things are never perfect.

I am a Die Hard Lamborghini fan and the Aventadorl is spectacular but it looks like a Mercialago with a makeover, like it has a sports package option or something.I like it but I dont think it was time to rebadge their flagship lets face it Its just a Mercialago thats lighter and more powerful. And if I had $300,000+ Id buy one!!!!! Oh and Id look for a 458 owner to piss off every time i took it out!!!!

Its has also equipped what lamborghini claimed the fastest gear shifts in the world.. 2nd generation advance to any super cars. That means the Aventador would smoke the lp 670 easy and quick because of the quick acceleration not just because power it because the quick the gear changes and responds. It also much better handling than murcie..

@bubbleren The problem with your statement there is a Ferrari 458 and a Lamborghini Aventador are in separate classes. They're engines are worlds apart. The 458 has a V8 to the Aventador's V12. The Aventador is more comparable to the Ferrari 599, which in every way it destroys. The Lamborghini Gallardo is more comparable to the Ferrari 458, which in every way it loses to.
