  • Thumbs up if you voted for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004.

  • @RandyOnlineGaming looks like nobody did loser

  • Entrance is bad ass tho!

  • youtube doubler

  • "Let's all enjoy the awesome news on the growing glaciers around the globe.

Search "Growing Glaciers, more falsehoods from Al Gore""

  • It saddens me to see how brainwashed people are. These evil men have u fooled

  • The country was fine when Bush left office. Now Obama is taken america apart. We had world peace, the economy was great and Iraq became a free country. And we did the right thing going into Iraq.

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE wow you're a complete idiot. zero hope for you. it's a called a newspaper, you should try reading it sometime.

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE wow are u completely stupid? zero hope for you. it's a called a newspaper, you should try reading it sometime.

  • @MegaELECTRICEYE that is why bush was the lowest rated president of all time! good try though

  • In 2004 his approval rating was 93%

In 2008 his approval rating was 13%

  • w/cheny are war criminals responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands in Iraq. You supporters should feel some responsibility for having helped put bozo w in office. He was the worst ever by far.

  • @ReduceGHGs

By your own standard, your hero FDR is an even bigger war criminal because he killed about 250,000 in the space of about a week just in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, to say nothing about the other American, Japanese and German causalities from that war. Oh and JFK/LBJ must also be a war criminals because of the approx 160,000 that died in the Vietnam war!. As for Bush being the worst president by far, that's true if you exclude Obama, Carter, Clinton, LBJ, FDR and Wilson.

  • Oh and let's not forget the 625,000 casualties that occurred when your Democrat friends started a Civil War to preserve slavery. That's two strikes right there; one for all the dead and the other for the defense of slavery. How do you sleep at night?

  • @williambellor.

Adjust your "standard" scale. How many would have been killed if we had to invade Japan to win the war? Likely alternative.

W is/was an ignorant fool. He couldn't write his own speeches and he certainly couldn't read them. He lied us into a needless war that cost the lives of hundreds of thousands. Don't forget that he was a deregulating puppet of corporate interests.

Yea, no kidding Vietnam was a terrible mistake. Fear of commie dominoes ran amuck. It's no excuse for w.

  • @qsteveens

For the record, I support the bombing of Japan for the reason you stated as well as others. I'm just making the point that if starting a war makes you a war criminal. there are far more war criminals on the left than on the right. As for the deaths as a result of the Iraq war, Human Rights Watch reports that Saddam Hussein murdered 300,000 during his time as leader of that country, but I guess they don't count do they?

  • As for Bush and his fictional lies, the intelligence agencies for many of the western nations of the world as well as the UN all reached the conclusion that Saddam was developing WMDs. Intelligence gathering is never a perfect science, but when the entire world is in agreement on an issue, and the consequences for failure to act is so high, it would be criminal not to act. Saddam needed to be taken down, the whole world knew it, but only the US had the courage to do something about it.

  • @williambellor .

You equated the bombs dropped on Japan to w's occupation of Iraq. One was honest the other a trumped up deception. War brought under false pretences is a crime against humanity.

The left supports social justice, equality, and environmental sustainability. The rights are corporate puppets waving flags of "free" market, liberty, family, and god.

Sure saddam was a bad dude but we helped him gas Iranians! Should we now attack N Korea?

Does any of this excuse w/cheney? No.

  • @qsteveens

Both Iraq and Japan needed to be taken out. BTW, you did nothing to dispute my comment about the whole world reaching the conclusion that Iraq had WMDs. That was all the justification we needed. A lie is when you say something you know is untrue. The US, UN, UK, Australia, Spain, Germany, France, and many other reached the same conclusion that Iraq was developing WMDs. Assuming that there were none (a big assumption, BTW)means that, at worst, Bush was, wrong, but not a liar.

  • One other thing. Failing to acknowledge the fact the the whole world agreed that Saddam had WMDs makes YOU the liar because a lie by omission is still a lie.

  • @williambellor .

Sorry, w/cheney new there were now WMDs. It didn't matter what the world thought or what they were able to get everyone to think. The KNEW there were no WMDs but they wanted to go in anyway. Try reading about the The Downing Street Memos and Valerie Plame. They knew but they decided to kill hundreds of thousands anyway for the "crusade". Yes, w called it a crusade.

  • @qsteveens

This means nothing. The DSM didn't say that GW knew that there were no WMDs, only that he focused more on the 99% of evidence that said there were WMDs over the 1% of data that didn't. As for Valerie Plame, she was a pencil pusher at the CIA, not a covert agent and therefore afforded no protection from exposure. And, in the end, it was not the Bush, Cheney or Rove that outed her, it was a Democrat in the State Department named Richard Armitage who leaked her name to the press.

  • What the Bush campaign did in 2004 to win re-election was very awful!! They used the attacks of 9/11 as a prop to scare people into voting for them, claiming that if America didn't vote for them, they would be attacked again. They tried again in 2008, and now claim that we are in danger since we didn't vote for McCain.

  • @redsoxfan426

Everything Bush & the GOP said is true, so how can you be offended by him/them saying it. The problem is you know it is true & it paints your side weak. Attacks & attempted attacks dropped to a trickle after 9/11 because Bush took the fight to them, but there has been a dramatic upswing in attacks and attempted attacks since Obama took office because the terrorists seem him as weak. We are in severe danger because Obama sees GOP as more of an enemy than the terrorists.

  • Do you believe we would be in less danger if McCain were president now? Also realize it is very rare for the same party to stay in The White House after 8 years. The Republicans did that 20 years earlier when (The Elder) Bush defeated Michael Dukakis in 1988. Also, if a major attack were to occur, and I were to die in it, I would want all Americans to stand behind President Obama, and I say this as somebody who voted for Obama.

  • @redsoxfan426

I didn't have a very positive opinion of McCain as President because he betrayed his principles too often for my taste. That said, yes, I do believe we would be in less danger now with McCain than with Obama because McCain would have kept the fight going with the terrorists, wouldn't be talking about withdrawal in Iraq and Afghanistan, or about closing Gitmo, and wouldn't ever consider civilian trials for terrorists. Obama has made us look weak to our enemies and even out friends.

  • As for a devastating terrorist attack, if it's Democrats vs. Republicans, I'm a Republican, but if it's America vs. our enemies, I'm an American. My support for a President does not depend on the party they are in, but by the actions of the President. If a Republican does something that I disagree with, I'm just a vocal as I am if a Democrat does it. Likewise, when Obama does something that I agree with, I praise him for it! Hasn't been a lot of opportunity for that with Obama though.

  • As I said, it is very rare for the same party to keep The White House longer than 8 years. The Republicans did have it for 12 years from 198-93 with Reagan and (The Elder) Bush. Also, I think that McCain supposedly wanted Gitmo closed as well. I personally believe that Obama is doing all he can to protect the country from attacks with the predator drone strikes and other things. If there is an a major attack on his watch, I hope he is not blamed for it anymore than Bush was for 9/11.

  • @redsoxfan426

This may surprise you, but there were a lot of reasons I was not in favor of McCain for President and only voted for him because he was the lesser of 2 evils. It may also surprise you that I support Obama and his predator attacks on terrorist bases, but any support from me is eroded by the fact that Obama is telegraphing his intentions to withdraw from both fronts in this war. Bad Idea! Why would the moderates in the ME work with us when they know we are going to just run away?

  • One other thing, Bush was blamed for 9/11 & many people actually believe that he ordered the attack in order to avenge his father & justify an attack on Iraq!

As for you comment about one party rarely holding power for more than 8 years, this is because a sizable number of Americans do not know what they believe & simply want change for the sake of change. I think this is dangerously naive because it results in a country that dithers back & forth which results in an unpredictable country.

  • Do you think that you will strongly support the Republican candidate in 2 years? If so, do you think that the threat of Islamic terrorism is the number 1 reason why you think the Republicans should do all they can to take back The White House in the next election? If so, how long will you want the Republicans back in the White House for? Only 4 years, 8 years, 12, 16 years, 20 years, or even 24 years?

  • @redsoxfan426

That is the real question & there is not a simple answer. Recently I have begun dividing Republicans into two categories; Progressive Republicans & Conservative Republicans. You see, while I have great respect for President Bush for protecting the nation after 9/11, lowering taxes & giving us two great Supreme Court justices, he also did some things that made me cringe. I was disappointed that he never found his veto pen until after the Democrats took office in 2006.

  • If Bush was a true conservative, he would have balanced his tax cuts with spending cuts rather than borrowing and spending and hoping the whole mess would not blow up in his face. He was wrong! I disagree with No Child Left Behind, Medicare Part D, TARP 1 and bridges to nowhere. Bush was a Progressive Republican in as that he (much like the Democrats) thought that there is no limit to how much the federal government should intrude into our lives.

  • In this way, there was little difference between Bush and Clinton and Obama, the only real difference was what they wasted our money on.

I am encouraged by the Tea-Party movement in this country because the silent majority is finally waking up and saying "we need to take our country back". It is disappointing that it took so long for America to finally find its voice, but now that it has, I have real hope for our future.

  • If, however, America falls back to sleep & elects another Progressive Republican, I fear that it will be over for this country because the people will see no options & the result may be another revolutionary war. That would be really bad!

So, after that long-winded diatribe, I will answer your questions. I feel that the economy is the real issue right now, but national security is a close second, & , if we can get a true Conservative Republican in the White House in 2012, I would support them.

  • If that happens & we can ween the American people off its entitlement mentality, I would be in favor of Conservative Republicans for the rest of time. If we cannot get a Conservative Republican in office, then I support a division of power with one party holding the White House & the other holding the Congress. This will create gridlock which might actually save our Republic. This is a better option than having one party hold both branches & competing to see who can run us off the cliff first!

  • What do you think?

  • This guy enjoys talking about a lot of things he wish would happen and was happening. His speech was full of propoganda, see the beauty, not the ugliness. The Iraq war was ugly, that is the truth, it still is just like all war is. But it is all about the "American way" to save people. we weren't saving them, we were getting oil. Why do you think The VP had a meeting of new energy policies and invited only the biggest oil companies and no one else. What was our biggest oil seller?

  • Comment removed

  • Greatness? Guess what G.W. It's 2010, wheres the greatness? The U.S. is FUCKED thanks to oil and war!

  • best president weve had in the last 3 years

  • Heres the guy who fucked up our economy, just look at this brainfuck moron

  • and the country clubs around the country had their victory

  • hahahaha chanting "USA, USA, USA!" idiots.

  • Bush left us with merely a $460 Billion deficit. Obama has now ballooned that figure up to $1.9 Trillion. More than 4 times the amount Bush spent. I miss good ole W.

  • @NickB1121 you do know nothing about deficit spending, do you? what should Obama spend to get the economy going, when W has ruined all that Clinton had created?

  • @PatrickVida

Of course I know about deficit spending. Obama and his Democrats are spending approximately $180 Billion per month.....about 40% of which the US has to either borrow or print. The economy was already in a recession when Bush took office. The internet bubble had burst late in Clinton's 2nd term (November 2000 to be exact) and simply headed downhill from there. 6 of the 8 years Bush was in office produced some of the best economic growth this country has ever seen.

  • @NickB1121

This is a common distraction by liberals, but a more accurate way of looking at this issue is to consider which party controls Congress, since it is Congress that holds the purse strings. When you look at things this way, the good economy at the end of Clinton's reign was the Republicans doing since they held Congress. That continued until the last two years of Bush's reign, when the Democrats took over in 2006 and the economy began to tank within 6 months.

    Hummm, interesting!

  • @williambellor Listen. Both parties have little or nothing to do with economic behavior. The market acts on its own. The economic growth in the 90s was attributted to innovation and other economic factors. It just happens that we had a Democratic president in office. The recession had nothing to do with Bush. The recession was caused by risky lending.

We need to understand that the people we elect for office are being paid by lobbyists. Don't get caught up with the left and right propaganda

  • @inquisitive871

I believe that you are more right than wrong, but government policy can definitely influence the economy. High taxes means that there is less money available to the private sector which means less innovation and fewer jobs. If we really wanted to heat up the economy, we wouldn't tax businesses at all. When businesses aren't sure what the government is going to do they are less likely to engage in a risky venture that may result in the next big thing.

  • One other point, mortgage companies are in the business to make a profit and would not knowingly lend money to people who had no chance of paying them back. The risky lending you speak of only occurred because government forced mortgage companies to give loans they never would have made if they had a choice (see; community reinvestment act of 1977) and the time bomb that resulted in the crash was set when Clinton's AG began suing them for non-compliance.

  • If government stayed out of the business world, there would still be ups and downs, but they would be minimized!

  • look at all the idiots clap they just reelected hitler

  • I don't know why I even keep trying to make the same old argument, but I always find it amazing that people like you who can present no intelligent or rational argument against President Bush always stoop to comparing him to Hitler. Agree with his politics or disagree, it's all fair game, but to compare Bush to Hitler only proves that you do not have a brain in your head. I kind of feel sorry for people like you who are so filled with hatred that they fail to realize how foolish they look!

  • hes no diff, if u denfend bush, its either because u dont really pay attention or know much, or maybe ur an idiot. That asshole started 2 wars, destroyed the public image of america by torturing ppl, hes committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, he gave the largest tax cuts in history to corrupt billionaires, and in result, kicked the middle class in the nuts. How can u like this guy? he inherited a strong union, then destroyed it to shit. if anyone has no brain its you.

  • It is hard to take your comments seriously when they are riddled profanity, spelling and grammatical errors. Have you ever heard of proof reading? Then you further discredit yourself by implying that everyone loved America before George Bush took office. I remind you that there were four significant terrorist attacks against the US during the Clinton administration which completely disproves your theory that the world loved us before Bush!

  • As for the two wars, both were necessary. Afghanistan was in response to 9/11 and Iraq was to prevent 9/12. As for his tax cuts for the rich; it is the rich that pays most of the taxes so they are the ones who should get the refunds. The rich are the ones who create the jobs, so letting them keep more of their money helps the economy. Do you know anyone who works for a poor person? I am a member of the middle class and my life was much better at the end of Bush's term than at the beginning.

  • Which brings us back to your hero Clinton. As a Canadian, I don't expect you to have a solid understanding of the US Government, but it isn't the President who is responsible for the US economy, it is the Congress, as they hold the purse strings. The good economy you speak of at the end of the Clinton administration was due to the fact that the Republicans held the Congress. In 2006, the Democrats retook Congress and our economy tanked within a year. Funny how that always seems to happen.

  • I will agree that Bush wasn't perfect; he should have vetoed some of the spending projects proposed by the Congress to offset the tax cuts, but compared to our current CIC, Bush was an above average President.

One final point, I will put Canada up against the US any day of the week. GDP, unemployment rate, productivity, R&D & opportunity, the US is superior to Canada in every way. Without the US military augmenting your neutered military, you guys wouldn't last a minute in the real world.

  • Man you really have no idea what your talking about, Canada is far better off than the us. were not 14 trillion dollars in debt, we have trade surpluses, we dont spent 500 trillion dollars on military, we provide healthcare and education to everyone. buddy your unemployment is 8% yours is 10% going to go to 12. Your army is superior? lol you cant even fight a war against villagers your army is falling is't useless and people like you give americans such a bad name your SO incredibly ignorant

  • if i was you id careful with the words you use, were your largest trading partner and your largest supply of oil, water, and natural gas, id love to see what kind of baron wasteland the us would become is canada were gone

  • Ya and as an american i dont expect you to understand anything even in your own backyard. Ya maybe 200 years ago congress was in charge of things, now big business has bought out the congress to do there bidding, why is healthcare reform stuck? because corporate giants lobby your government to keep the shitty health care insurance instead. The economy tanked because your beloved president bush started 2 wars which the nation could not afford, bush is the exact reason why us will collapse.

  • man your stupidity is appalling! Both wars are being waged for false reasons, Afghanistan was is completly usless, over a million people are being killed becuase saudi terrorists may have recived training in afghanistan, and iraq, had nothing to do with 9/11, saddam had no WMD, its been proved for a few years now. You watch far too much fox news my friend, stay away from bill oreilly and sean hannity.

  • the rich do nothing but rob the middleclass and working class of everything they own, starting with social security funds and retirement funds. No its the PEOPLE who run the economy and work the shitty jobs, its business and trade that keep the economy running. not corrupt HMOs and banks like goldman sachs, btw the united states beuro of investigation showed that the top 1 percent were paying about 5 percent in taxes. Wallstreet devastated the us economy with the help of moron citizens like you.

  • buddy, 4 atacks? terrorism wasnt what it is now, and none of those attacks were of the magnitude of 9/11. Before bush the us had trade surpluses, debt was only 4 trillion now becuase of bush and obama its 14. Bush did nothing good for america, he spat on the american people and the constitution, the patriot act, allowed him to spy on civilians and wire tap suspected "terrorists" the only terrorist was him and his administration.

  • @williambellor History will be kinder to him in the long run just like it was to Gerald Ford! As for the guy in there now, he has 1,064 DAYS TO GO!

  • "The RNC Convention Look Like Nazi Germany!!!"

  • Comment removed

  • Yep, Kerry lost because he thought he could squeeze by with a narrow margin without sacrificing his pro-corporate agenda. It didn't work.

The Republicans won in 2000 condeming the Democrats in nation building and policing the world.

  • @stianbirkholz i did. Because Bush is a fucking retard!!!!! but Gore would have been better than anyone!!!!

  • @Kimmis1990

Gore believes in global warming which has largely been discredited. Global temperatures dropped during the Bush administration not because of anything Bush did, but because global warming is caused by the sun. CO2 is a trace gas comprising only about 0.039% of the atmosphere and the belief that an increase of 2/1000th of a percent is going to trigger a disaster is the true definition of a retard.

  • Also, the left accused Bush of being a hypocrite because he supported more drilling of oil while owning oil stock, but is silent about Gore pushing for global warming legislation while he's making millions selling carbon credits and flying around is a gulf stream jet making speeches about a discredited myth.

    Typical!

  • @williambellor global warming a myth???!!!! The polar Ice caps last year grew to only 75% percent of the size they did in the 1980's. Look it up. Dont deny science, 98% of scientists agree and you have the dignity to say that. My god your ignorant.

  • @dhahranksa "You're ignorant", not "your ignorant". Let's learn how to use apostrophes and conjunctions before we start accusing others of being ignorant. Now on to your comment, in the 1970s, the world was worrying about global cooling. All these scientists were "certain" that the world was rapidly cooling, much quicker than it normally should, but alas, they were wrong, as many scientist often are. Global warning is simply a myth. Look it up, the evidence is there. Don't be a blind patriot.

  • @HipWilson Ok im sorry that I dont check my grammar on youtube. Its irrelevant what scientist used to think, lakes all across the globe are drying up the average temperature of the earth is changing why are you in denial, 98% of scientist say its speed up by human activity. Also, lets forget global warming, all the toxic gases that are being released into the atmosphere which is harming wildlife. Lastly, did you know that there is a swill twice the size of TEXAS in the pacific ocean, of plastic

  • I think that Gore's theory on Global Warming and Bush's theory on Islamic terrorism are both discredited. One of the problems with Bush and other Republicans was they seemed to make people believe that Islamic terrorism is the biggest threat in their everyday lives, when every day people are murdered, injured or killed in traffic accidents, and many other things.

  • @redsoxfan426

Auto accidents are accidents & there is little that the government can do to prevent them, however terrorism is something that can be prevented & we saw a good example of this after 9/11. No one thought that after that terrible day that we would go another 9 years without a major attack, but that happened because Bush took the fight to the enemy. I also have to disagree with your opinion that terrorism isn't a large threat because I believe that a terrorist with a nuke is a threat.

  • @stianbirkholz .

The propaganda sold you too, huh? "flip - flop" John Kerry?

I suppose you believed the Swift Boat ads too.

Clever propaganda manipulated all too many and left us with the stupid fool w and his deregulating sponsors. Happy with what it brought us? Maybe you are if you’re sucking up the unnecessary tax breaks. Thank a lot!

  • @qsteveens

What you call propaganda, I call the truth. But I guess in lefty-world, hundreds of soldiers saying one thing are all lairs but a single sleazy flip-flopping Democrat politician is telling the truth!

  • @williambellor .

Example: Take the global warming issue. The corporate vested interests have been effective at spreading propaganda that there is doubt about the human role, whether or not we are influencing the climate. Most republicans now support this skeptic's position. But there is no credible doubt. ALL of our respected scientific institutions concur on the core issue; humans ARE warming the planet. But the "right" and YOUR "truth" consume propaganda. They do it for their sponsors.

  • @qsteveens

You're living in the 60's dude! Businesses used to support Republicans because they simply wanted to keep the government out of their lives. That changed when Republicans began moving to the left at which point businesses began supporting Democrats. If you cannot find a party that will keep the government out of your life, you support the one that will give you the most benefits over your competition. For the last 20 years, big business has supported the Democrats. Look it up!

  • As for Global Warming, I have one word:

    HOAX

Google "Climatic Research Unit email controversy" for more information.

  • 2011 dude! Corp interests STILL support republicans. And yes, because they want less regulations, more freedom to do whatever they want, and lower taxes. Do you know about externalities? Without regulations forcing businesses to account for these indirect costs we had the Cuyahoga River Fires. Know about them? You want no government (We The People - see the Constitution) until you suffer the consequences. Your "free market" is not so free. It costs!

    Out-a-here. See ya!

  • @qsteveens

Some corporate interests may still support Republicans, but far more support Democrats these days! Look at the wealthiest districts in the country and you will find that they supported Democrats by large margins.

As for the Cuyahoga River Fires, the Cuyahoga River caught on fire 13 times dating back to the mid 1800's. A fire in 1969 was reported by Time Magazine and started the environmental movement, but it was the media that changed that situation, not Democrats or Republicans.

  • I do not want no government, I simply want it to conform to the boundaries set out in the Constitution. The Constitution says nothing about regulating business. If there must be any business regulation, it should be addressed at a state level like the 10th amendment says, but even then, an informed populous is more effective at reigning in business than the government could ever be. Therefore, I see this as being a job for the media rather than some task for the government.

  • I think that 99% of what the Federal Government does is unconstitutional. Issues like education & healthcare should be addressed by state/local government because they are more accountable to "We The People" than the feds are. Social programs should be addressed by charities because they are more compassionate, efficient & effective than any government program could ever hope to be. The feds should stick to defending the nation, negotiating international trade & protecting our rights.

  • We fact the worst environmental crisis humans have ever seen; Climate Change. But it is the republicans that make up the deniers DESPITE the unanimous opinions from our respected scientific institutions. Why? They want to keep their business-as-usual, to keep pumping carbon pollution into the atmosphere no matter what the cost to our future generations. "To hell with the science, it might affect our bottom lines!"

This, ANOTHER example of needed FED regulation. Need more? Read about it.

  • The point is that gov. REGULATION (republicons don't like this) of business was needed. The 1969 Cuyahoga River fire helped spur an avalanche of water pollution control activities resulting in the Clean Water Act, Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, and the creation of the federal Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA). As a result, LARGE POINT SOURCES of pollution on the Cuyahoga have received significant attention from the OEPA in recent decades.

  • 2004

  • Williambellor- "blame" President Obama all you want...he probably doesn't care (nor do the American people) & "blame" in itself is the most immature way of saying you just can't seem to grow up. Obama is doing a good job...whether you like it or not. (& YES. HE DID DESERVE THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE)

  • Obama better care what the American people think of him because without us, he will not be reelected in 2012. Remember that Obama didn't win the last election, the Republicans lost it and they lost for several reasons:

    1) they betrayed their principles by growing the government rather than shrinking it.

    2) they supported George Bush who did a lot of good things, but did a few stupid things as well.

    3) They ran an extremely weak candidate (John McCain) who is a RINO at best.

  • As for Obama deserving the Nobel Peace Prize, that is absurd! The nomination deadline for 2009 Nobel Peace Prize candidates was 12 days after he took office! He hadn't done anything at that point. This was simply the Nobel committee showing its approval that Obama wasn't George Bush (you know the guy who freed 60 million people). Obama isn't doing a good job, in less than a year he is already the worst president ever.

  • The last time the Democrats put such an unqualified person in the White House, America won 4 years later with the election of Ronald Reagan. So, based on that, I can't wait for 2012!

Let's just hope that there is still something that resembles America left when Obama is finally removed from power!

  • Williambellor- The words you speak are just regurgitations of news bits you have read these last three years & have nothing to do w/ reality. The mortgage crisis was caused by many factors that you can't quite possibly understand. I was a registered repub for 14 yrs of my life...what is left of the rebub party are a bunch of psycho weirdos...they stand for nothing...except blocking plans that will save American lives

  • OK, that is twice now that you have said that I cannot understand this issue and twice that you have failed to provide any examples of me being wrong. I guess this ties into the often repeated liberal talking point that all Republicans are stupid. If you are really the intelligent one and I am really so stupid, it should be extremely easy for you to destroy my argument with facts and logic. Funny that we haven't seen any of that yet!

  • Williambellor- I have been in many areas of the real estate industry for well over 10 years in the 3rd largest city in this country and you have no idea what you are talking about

  • You didn't list anything that I said which was incorrect, so it is impossible to debate you on this point! Am I supposed to believe that because you have worked in the real estate industry that you do know what you are talking about? Point out something that I said that is wrong and we will begin with that!

  • Williambellor- the act you speak of "forced" no one to do anything. No human being, nor "act" can "force any human to do anything. Human beings cannot be "forced" into anything

  • I'm sorry, but you're wrong; the government can control us because they have the ability to take away our property and our freedom if we resist! This is why our founding fathers decided to severely limit the power of the Federal Government. They knew that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely! They saw first hand what an over-bearing government could do and took steps to prevent that from happening here. Our founders would weep if they saw we have allowed to happen in the US.

  • Sooooo

Do you blame clinton was the reason why 9/11 and obama the reason why we have this economic recession

I'm sorry I just wanna know how a republican works.

  • Many presidents are to blame for ignoring terrorism, but yes, Clinton was a huge part of the problem. He was given several occasions to take custody of Bin Laden, but refused to do so. He also did nothing in response to the USS Cole attack, which Bin Laden himself said convince him that the US was a paper tiger that could easily be defeated.

  • As for the recession, I don't blame Obama for causing it, but I do blame him for doing all the wrong things in response to it. With proper leadership, we would be out of this mess by now. As for the cause of the recession, I blame Carter and Clinton for that; Carter and the democrats in congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 which forced mortgage companies to give loans to people who couldn't pay them back and that was the beginning of this mess.

  • Mortgage companies wisely ignored this law and little damage occurred until Clinton's AG Janet Reno began suing mortgages who didn't comply with the law. In order to protect themselves, mortgage companies created "Sub-Prime" loans in which people paid a lower mortgage payment at the beginning and then the payments ballooned later on. When those payments increased, many of these people were forced out of their homes.

  • The flaw behind Sub-Prime loans was the idea that homeowners could refinance their loans when the payments increased because houses would have increased in value and be worth more at that future date. That worked fine as long as housing prices continued to increase, but when they began to decline in about 2006, many people found that they owed more on their house than it was worth.

  • Faced with this problem, many people simply walked away from their houses which left many mortgage companies in deep financial trouble and ultimately resulted in this recession

  • As for your desire to understand how "Republicans work" that's really quite simple; we look at a situation and factor in reality before coming up with a solution that works. Democrats make their decisions based on what feels good; wouldn't it be nice if everyone had a house regardless of their ability to pay. The problem with liberalism is that it was dreamt up by a bunch of hippies getting high in a field somewhere & unfortunately their ideas never make as much sense once the smoke has cleared.

  • It seems like you just wanna disagree with everything democrat. I don't know. As for myself, I just see which idea is better. I'm a somewhat democrat, but I like how republicans handle corporations somewhat (I'm learning about stock investing). Politicians nowadays always complain and act like babies. What ever happen to people like JFK, Roosevelt, and Lincoln? We need more people like them.

  • I disagree with that; I don't think that democrats hearts are wrong, just their heads. I share many values with my democrat friends including the belief that we have an obligation to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Where I part ways with the dems is when they attempt to make the argument that the solution to all our problems is massive government intervention. Unfortunately, that never works; at least not in the long term.

  • I never understood how intelligent people can see the government bungle everything it attempts, but continue to have faith that they can do it right this time! It's like a bad case of battered wife syndrome where the woman keeps getting the snot beat out of her, but keeps taking the guy back thinking that he's really changed this time.

  • Neither the batterer nor the government will ever change because neither is really concerned about caring for their charge; they only want to maintain the power they have and will do whatever it takes to keep it. For the record, I look at both democrats and republicans the same way on this issue, because when you really get down to it, their isn't much difference between them. Both parties only want more power and will use the force of government to control us. We all must resist this!

  • Nice talking to you!

Anyway I would like a job where I can travel as an airline pilot. I just wanna get the hell out of here (the U.S) and just wanna enjoy flying away from everything, and maybe explore different countries, cultures, governments, ect.

    Kudos!

  • yeah! Go Bush and Go Romney 2012!

  • yup

  • Love how so few of the postings on this video contain correct spelling.

The only person who can spell is the host. - Is that you Dr. Rove?

  • Cut them a little slack. When you hate someone like President Bush as much as many people here do, it can be hard to spell check your words because you can't see what you've written through all the spit spots on your monitor.

But seriously, the thing that amazes me is that the people who hate the President so much go out of their way to search out videos of him so they can express their hatred. I think they know that Obama is a failure and they need someone, anyone to blame it all on.

  • As for your theory, No Comment! :)

  • In 2004 the Convention was loud and rowdy. In 2008 you could hear a pin drop. I hope the GOP gets it together and nominatesa a real winner and gets the excitement back in the party base. God Bless America!

  • That's what happens when your choice is between a Democrat and a Democrat-lite!

  • That's true. Maybe strong conservative leadership will find its way back to the top of the Republican Party. We'll see. Thanks for the video!

  • I hope so, but the options seem to be dropping like flies!

  • I'm thinking that it's going to come down to Sarah Palin and Mitt

Romeny. I get the feeling. That wouldn't be a bad choice either way. But we have to get some power back in Congress a President can't do much with a majority for the other party.

  • No more power for you ever..

  • Ok. It sure is going good with the Dems in power. Just wait for the 2010 Midterms.. thats all I gotta say.

  • I don't

  • hahahahah

  • to much hype o Obama thank you for supporting repbulican comminuity. You are great, republicans hav made change, democrats think there great. Obama closed down guantomo bay and now suddenly hes this amazing man, promises to bring troops in 2012 its all b.s thank you and may god bless you

  • I hope the Republican party is worthy of our support come 2010 and 2012, but I am not sure as of yet! The Democrats didn't win in 2006 & 2008; the Republicans lost. They lost because they thought that the best way to beat the Democrats was to become like them. While the purging of RINO's is proceeding nicely, I am still unsure of the majority of Republicans have seen the light and until that happens, the worst thing that could happen would be for the to get back into power.

  • The responsibility for all of this falls to us. We must each seriously examine our own local representatives and verify that they not only talk the talk, but walk the walk.

If they believe in earmarks, vote them out.

If they talk tax cuts but don't offset them with decreased spending, vote the out.

If they feel that the best way to defeat the Democrats is to meet them halfway, vote them out.

The only way to restore this once great nation is to make our leaders realize that they work for us.

  • If Republicans get back into power and haven't learned their lesson, we'll be facing this same mess again in four years. The tide is already turning against the Democrats just like what happened in the '70's with Carter. I only hope we have a Reagan waiting in the wings somewhere. Let's just hope we survive until then!

  • Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Up until now I was a real supporter of Bush, but after reading your intelligent and thought provoking comments here, I have seen the light! After all, what did Bush do except keep us safe for seven years and maintain the lowest average unemployment rate in more than four decades. But then you come along and give us a "boooooooooo" and it blows all my deepest help beliefs to hell. What was I thinking?

  • george bush either was not the right candidiate back in 00' and 04', implementing policies that lead the country to this, and just look the state of your party too!! he stained your party, and he was not a conservative either!!!

  • It wasn't W who forced mortgage companies to give loans to people who can't afford them; that was the democrats and that is what lead to this recession. Also, if W or Obama had done the right thing in reaction to the recession, we would already be pulling out of it rather than diving in deeper. I do agree with you about W not being a real conservative, but doesn't that then make your comment an indictment on liberalism? If it didn't work under W, why the faith that it will work for Obama?

  • Who cares if Bush won in 2000? He won in 2004 and he's no longer the president. Get Over It and move on.

  • True, but Democrats need something to pin their rage and hatred onto. They can't blame the current mess on Republicans because Democrats control the White House and both houses of Congress, so they need to reach into the past to find some Republican bogeyman to blame everything on. They long for the days when they could blame everything on the Bush administration, but despite the fact that they hate him so much they can't live without him.

You really have to feel sorry for them!

  • The only permutation of "move on" that libtards understand is the website.

  • fuck you george bush!!!

you smeared mccain badly back in 2000, he's more deserving to be president than you!!! you steal the 2000 presidential election, run an incompetent administration, you don't have the strature and attitude of a president with the way you speak and act, you're like an idiot buffon, and you leave the country in a much terrible shape, you're such a joke!!!

  • All right, get out the Windex, clean the spit spots off your computer monitor and I will attempt (futilely, I'm sure). First off, McCain, despite the fact that he is a war hero, was a very poor candidate for a Republican President. McCain was a moderate at best & the wrong choice for President in both 2000 & 2008. McCain sided with the Democrats too often for my taste. When the choice is between Conservatism & Communism, you hold to your principals. Splitting the difference is never the answer.

  • Regarding the 2000 election, Bush won that election and there is no intelligent dispute of that fact. You may chose to say that Gore won the popular vote, but that is irrelevant. Gore may be better at basketball to, but that doesn't matter because that is not how we chose a President. We chose the president based on the results of the electoral college and in every single count (even the recount by CNN after the election), Bush won. Get used to it.

  • You may add that the ballots in Florida were confusing & the ballot machines didn't work, but I find it interesting that the only people that were confused by the ballots were the Democrats in Democrat counties. I would further add that design & layout of the ballots as well as maintenance of the ballot machines are the responsibility of the individual districts, not the federal government or even the states, but the district. Funny how only the ballot machines in Democrat districts didn't work.

  • As for your comment about Bush's incompetent administration, Bush ran a highly competent administration. You may not agree with his decisions, but that doesn't mean he is incompetent, it means that you don't agree with his decisions. Bush won reelection in 2004 by a landslide, which obviously means many people disagree with you.

  • You want an incompetent administration, look at Obama. 2 months into his term and here's the score so far. Tax cheats left and right in his administration, telling business executives they can't party in Vegas while his VP parties in Florida with union members, telling Caterpillar employees that they will get hired back if the stimulus plan is passed and having company CEO contradict him moments later, the VP asking for help remembering at web site "number" instead of the address...

  • ...SOS Clinton giving a red button to Russians that says "Reset" in English and "Overcharged" in Russian, giving the PM of England 25 DVD's that won't even play in British DVD players, saying he wants to open talks with the Taliban but he won't open talks with Republicans, having a hissy fit over bonuses to AIG execs which he approved in the stimulus bill that no one read, going on Leno and comparing his bowling score to "The Special Olympics",...

  • ... going on 60 Minutes to be interviewed by Steve Kroft and laughing his way through the interview to the point where the interviewer asks him if he is "Punch Drunk", mispronouncing the word "Orion" multiple times at Orion manufacturing, and those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. You want incompetence, look no further than Barack Obama.

  • Regarding Bush's Stature & Attitude, Bush was the very definition of Stature & Attitude. Bush did what he thought was right, not what the polls said he should do. He remained steadfast in his beliefs and values even when small-minded people mocked him and his popularity began to sink. When he left office, he continues to remain silent on policy issues; giving more respect to Obama than Clinton gave to him. Stature & Attitude (and I might add "Class"), thy name is George W. Bush!

  • It is true that Bush was not always the most coherent speaker, but when he finally got it out, he was right. He said what he meant and meant what he said, unlike Obama who stutters and stammers whenever his teleprompter is not present. Bush always spoke from his heart and said what he really thought, but all of Obama's positions are poll & focus group tested talking points which change from day to day which is why Obama keeps having to change his position whenever he says something off-the-cuff.

  • As for the economy, Bush inherited a recession from Clinton and had to deal with Sept 11th. He was able to pull the economy back onto stable footing by lowering taxes and still managed to maintain a lower average unemployment rate than during '60's, '70's, '80's or '90's. As for the housing crisis, that wasn't Bush's fault, it was the Democrats that forced mortgage companies to give loans to people who couldn't afford them (look up the Community Reinvestment Act and Clinton's role in it).

  • As for your other comments, they're not worth a response because they're just personal attacks from simple-minded automaton. People like you are so filled with hate that you are blinded by it. It would be easy to feel sorry for you except for the fact that you have channeled your hatred into a movement that has unleashed the worst President this nation has ever had the misfortune to experience, on us! God help us all, this nation is going to be a much worse place to live in 4 years.

  • And Clinton, Harry Reid, and Barney "THE QUEEN" Frank approved loans to people who shouldn't have qualified, leaving people like us to bail their sorry behinds out! Amen to you, my friend! As for NOBAMA, THE COMMANDER IN THIEF AND MODERN-DAY ROBIN HOOD, there are 1,341 DAYS TO GO! Join the ROMNEY REVOLUTION! ROMNEY/JINDAL '12!

  • great moments in presidential speeches watch this thing for you to see the stupidity and idiocy of your guy!!!

  • You freakin waco shut the hell up. How dumb can one idiot be?...I mean really. Your just saying this dumb crap to make people mad because if you actually believe what you've written then you my friend are in need of an acid soda.

  • What is it about liberals like you and Wanda Sykes? You lack the ability to argue intelligently, but instead simply wish anyone who disagrees with you dead.

Way to convince someone they are wrong!

  • Amen! I wrote CBS and told them I'll boycott that show until that dyke is fired!

  • what about those ballots who were prevented to be counted ha??? what about those ballots who were confusing and what about those some blacks who were prevented to vote??? bush stole the election!!!!!!!!! with the help of sc who appointed him!!!!

  • so smearing a candidates family and reputation isn't bad just to win a primary??? mccain has the integrity compare to your idiot guy!!!!and partisan politics isn't good anyway it causes division like what these 8 years have been under your guy

  • im pretty sure bush is happy as hell to be out of office and obama is on the edge of suicide

  • For generations to come Americans will benefit from our footing in the War on Terror, citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan will enjoy the opportunity to live in freedom, and millions of Africans

will live without disease because of President Bush.

He will be remembered as one who did whatever was necessary to defend thiscountry from terrorism, staying the course even in the face of insurmountable opposition and hateful criticism, doing the right thing, not the popular impulse of the moment.

  • I find it interesting how the tone of the postings on my videos have changed in recent weeks. In the months leading up to the election up until a few weeks ago there was about a 50/50 split between positive "We Support You George Bush" type messages & negative profanity-lased "Bush is Hitler" type messages. I haven't seen a negative message now in several weeks. Seems like the Obamaniacs have finally began to realize that their messiah is actually a Porcelain God.

This puts a smile on my face.

  • Of course now that I have posted this observation, some Obama supporter will come & post something negative just to prove me wrong because we all know that Obama supporters will never admit when they are wrong. I still find this shift interesting!

    Thank You George W. Bush!

You weren't perfect, but compared to our current President, you were way above average. A true leader is a person who does the right thing even if the followers don't understand & hate him for it!

History will be kind to you!

  • God Bless you GWB you will GREATLY be missed!

  • your still going strong i see lol.. keep kicking some liberal ass :).

  • Helping to make the world safe for Democracy, one mind at a time!

  • Yes we are the "angry and bitter liberals", we want to fix the economic colapse that dumb ass ignorant republicans are responsible for, we send our troops home that republicans sent them to die, we want to fix healthcare, we want to make clean fuel so the world's climate will not change as rapidly. We angry and bitter liberals are going to save this country... and hopefully you republicans will read a book and realize that you have ruined this once great country

  • I could write a book discrediting your statements, so I'll try to keep this brief.

First, Republicans didn't cause the economic collapse, Democrats did in the '70's by passing a bill requiring mortgage companies to give loans to people who couldn't afford them and the problems really accelerated when Clinton's AG began suing mortgage companies who wouldn't comply. You don't really thing that mortgage companies are responsible for this because they were greedy, do you?

  • Mortgage companies only make a profit when they loan people money and the people pay that money back with interest. If they loan money to people who don't pay them back,. the Mortgage companies don't make money, they lose money and possibly go out of business. BTW, a few years ago the Republicans were the ones trying to prevent this disaster from coming. Watch this video (watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs) and you will see Republicans trying to prevent this crisis and Democrats saying everything is fine.

  • Regarding the military, Obama plans to send an additional 17,000 troops to Afghanistan which will more than offset any reductions he plans in Iraq. Does that mean that Obama is sending those troops to die in Afghanistan? He couldn't even keep his promise about pulling out of Iraq. During his campaign, he said he would pull them out within 6 months of taking office, now he's saying 2, 3, 4 years. This is one of the reasons I can't take anything you guys say, you only hear what you want to hear

  • Now we come to healthcare. When healthcare is free, there will be no incentive not to run to the doctor with every little thing because you won't be paying for it. Think of your favorite food that is expensive. In my case, I like lobster, but despite the fact that I like it I don't eat it every night because it is expensive and I can't afford to eat it every night. Healthcare works the same way. You get a splinter in your finger, you deal with it yourself due to the cost of going to the doctor.

  • If healthcare suddenly becomes free, there will be no reason not to run to the doctor with that splinter & everyone else will do the same thing. Add to this problem the fact that when the government begins paying for your healthcare, they will limit how much doctors can charge for their service. It already happens with Medicare. This will reduce the profit motive of becoming a doctor because who would go to school for years to become a doctor if they can't make a decent wage after all that work?

  • These two problems work against each other (see Law Of Supply & Demand) with more people seeking medical help and less doctors to provide that help. This will create shortages of healthcare and the government will begin rationing it just like they do in Canada and Europe. Suddenly, people are waiting months or even years to get the medical treatment they require and it isn't hard to imagine that some will die waiting, just like they do in Canada and Europe.
