Ummmm......well I hate to say it, but The Weirdness is a shit album and unfortunately I've seen footage of Iggy singing at a footage of a Versace convention/show so yes he did sell out BIG TIME. Regardless, The Stooges at one point were the best just like at one point Voivod was the best.

This was right after the tour with Soundgarden and Faith no More , Voivod toured 3 weeks in Quebec with opening act the Big F . Then played 4 shows opening for Rush in Quebec city ,Montreal ,and Toronto . The band was then suppose to tour Europe ,but the tour was cancelled because of Noise Records in Germany .The band went into the studio in Toronto instead and recorded the album Angel Rat . I know this, because I was Voivod 's sound engineer at that time .

Yeah I did most of the tours from 1985 to 97 . They were good friends of mine . That tour was one their best . Funny thing on that tour ....My real name is Mike , I had long hair back then and looked alot like Mike Patten ( the singer of Faith No More ) . Alot of times fans thought that I was him ..and ask me for autographs . I think that all 3 bands were at their best in that time . 3 completely original and different styles and energys . it was all good ...
