Humans are no more important than other creatures similar to us. I do draw a line with insects, though. They're rather primitive compared to the rest of the Animal Kingdom.

Actually testing on animals is proving to be an inefficent and erroneous method to develop "cures" and drugs for humans. There are effective alternatives. Furthermore, the ALF in 30 years has never harmed (or killed) a human. KFC and all animal industries are totally unnecessary... We do not "need" to eat animals to thrive. Millions are healthier on a compassionate plant based diet. Go Vegan

yes peta fights against animal cruelty, not euthanasia, so when an animal can't be saved, or will likely never be able to live a peaceful life, they put it out of its misery. No one wants animals to be euthanized, but sometimes (and often im sad to say) thats the only option for the association who has taken the animal in, there are just too many animals to find homes for.
