Wow, I cannot describe to you the ordeal my older brother and I went through during this tedious level. With the timer counting down, every minute was vital, based on how many blueprints you collected of course. But the worse part was that whenever we wanted to take a break and paused the game, the timer still counted down. It was stressful. It was as if the game implied, "Oh no, you've made it this far, and it's either you're going to do this in one shot or it's game over". We both got nervous.

I love this song! The build-up is fantastic. It gets the adrenaline pumping and really makes you feel like you're breaking into an enemy base. It's too bad we don't see too many games like this anymore. I miss Rare. :'(

yeah..the music in this game was greatly done to fit the game. especially this one. it really made it feel like this was the end. like it was the most important and decisive moment yet. and the way you had to apply EVERYTHING you learned throughout the entire game and use every kong's special skills. the music played well to the situation.

This song is the scariest of them all. Imagine fighting to deactivate a machine that will destroy your home if you don't act quickly. I enjoyed this level a LOT! The timer was small compared to the Golden Banana games.

RARE created everything in the DK universe, with the exception of DK himself, although RARE did revamp his appearance and made it overall better. Nintendo bought the rights for all characters in DK from RARE before they went with Microsoft. This is why you see them in spin-off games. The reason you don't see many of the other characters in DKCR is because Nintendo wanted a fresh start/did it out of respect for RARE.

Oh man I remember this level, my older brother and I had a hard time because since there was a time limit we were always under pressure. Plus even if we paused the game, the timer still kept on going. I was young back then and I just couldn't pass this level but my older brother was able to. This was truly a superb game on one of the most amazing consoles that ever existed, the N64! I miss my childhood. :(
