  • I Cant Believe You Missed The Extra Pint!

  • Billy Cundiff?

  • Hey I didn't know receivers could actually pass the ball. Looks like a Rugby play ! (I'm not an US football fan)

  • @G0odf3lla As long as the pass is being thrown (or tossed) behind the player then it's legal.

  • @washington95 Allright thanks for that new addition to my knowledge :p

  • One of the biggest fuck ups of all-time

  • this is terrible. absolutely terrible

  • nooooooooooooooo He missed the extra point, wide right .

  • nfl was so much more exciting back then. just look at all that passing before the touchdown. now it's just quarterback throw, get the down, throw, down, throw, down, throw down, change teams, throw, down, throw, down

  • Are you stupid? That was only 7 years ago. Not much has changed in the NFL in terms of style of play.

  • @tridentgun it's now the national throwing league

  • Greatest nfl moment followed by worst nfl moment

  • Wow the Saints really needed this today...

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! LMFAO!!!!

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

  • My God, that was an epic touchdown and the poor guy kicker missed the extra point! That must had beena tremendous rage in all Saints fans!

  • Such a shame, one of worst mistakes ever made after one of the most impossible touchdowns.

  • SALT

  • Hockey on the other hand is a man's sport.

  • The NBA is on par with the WWE. It's a spectacle manufactured for little kids who don't know any better.

  • video ends with the kicker saying "everything was fine" haha

  • I remember watching this live. IIRC, the Saints were 7-7 and needed to win out to make the playoffs. Everybody thought they'd pulled off the ultimate miracle (which fit nicely with the fact that it came the season after Katrina)...then Carney shits the bed. On the FOX post-game show, Terry Bradshaw broke the stunned silence of the commentators by suggesting that both Carney and the holder take a cab back to New Orleans, wearing masks to keep anybody from recognizing them. Pretty high comedy.

  • @battleax86 Katrina hit New Orleans in August of 2005. This game took place in December of 2003. Ironically, Sunday will mark the first time that the Saints have visited Jacksonville since this happened.

  • @RobdaVegasMailman Why is this ironic. The way the NFL schedule is set, the Saints will play in Jacksonville every 8 years. Nothing expected should be called ironic.

  • That kicker is such a chump...

  • That was a badass play though

  • Best radio commentary ever at 0:38

    "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Oh man, lol

  • Lmao.. I remember watching this shit live. Hahahahaha funniest shit ever!

  • This is terrible.

  • Did this miss ultimately prevent a Bronco 3-peat? The world may never know.

  • 0:31 - 0:34 do i hear pierre mcguire?!

  • ill never forget this haha, iv been a saints fan for as long as i can remember, i was about 11 when i saw this live on tv with my grandfather, didnt have to worry about bandwagons for about 6 years later haha, i enjoyed being one of the only people i know liking the saints

  • hate this momment. but i love jim henderson man. NOOOOOOOOOO

  • "Everything was fine" HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHA

  • "Everything was fine."

    Well, except for the result.

  • If I was on the Saints team, I would gather up a few teammates and beat the shit out of that shit head kicker. All that work for nothing

  • worst kicker in the history of the nfl.

  • @iamahooligan1 3rd most points in NFL history says different

  • @iamahooligan1 2× Pro Bowl selection (1994, 2008) 3× All-Pro selection (1990, 1994, 2008) 1× Super Bowl Champion (XLIV) San Diego Chargers All-Time Leading Scorer Field goals: 473 / 574 (82.4%) Extra points: 625 / 635 (98.4%) Career Long FG: 54

  • This cost the Saints a playoff spot...

  • I haven't watched this since the day it happened.....still makes me want to vomit.

  • @ChayceH19 The Saints actually had fans before 2006? Wow.

  • haha! fuck the saints

  • @1galactus1 no fuck you

  • lollollol 0:50 "everything is find"

  • ironically John Carney played for the Jaguars for one year lol

  • @NeiliusPrimeTV That's not ironic, it's coincidental.

  • @manka6 sure i guess so

  • and they wont go to another superbowl for another 75 years HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • @StLukey7 another 75? as in they waited 75 for their first?

  • As I Saints fan from asl long as I can remember, This is just another day in the office.. but no longer.. I predict another Superbowl victory this year. GEAUX SAINTS WHODAT..

  • The Radio Announcer ROFL, NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mytimton Its Jim Henderson Legendary Radio Announcer the person who went ITS GOOD ITS GOOD When the saints play NFC Championship...lol

  • No. Everything was not fine. You figured the game was already over with, then when ur offense got the TD, U started shittin bricks

  • The guy who called the touchdown sounds like Gorilla Monsoon

  • NOOOOOO! 6 people missed the extra point! Oh my god, how could they do that?

  • i remember listening to this on the radio when i was at work. i felt great, then a minute later i wanted to throw up. we've put up with this for 40+ years, so it's no wonder we thought it was the end of the world when we went on our SB run. who dat. =)

  • "Uh everything was fine...until I kicked the ball"

  • That block by Brooks was pretty sick. . . that entire play was pretty sick. Watched it live too, I'm not a fan of the Saints but I was just as shocked as them all.

  • ...and that my friends are the real new orleans saints

  • @sltwentytwo running back & 2 key d fensive players away from gettin back 2012......if they play smh....geaux saints

  • 1) NFL

    2.) NHL

    3.) MLB

    4.) NBA

  • @tobs22 Bullshit

    How is NBA the 4th

No stupid NFL player can dunk from the free-throw line

Football all you do is run with the ball like a pussy and get knocked out

And many stupid calls...just like your favorite team lost this year.

  • @PerfectceII The NBA is full of ghetto, shitbags that noone should look up to or admire. not to mention that it's own refs bet on games. the integrity is all gone, also it's bullshit foul calls left and right.

Anytime someone says the word pussy, and it's in refrence to football players - they are clearly a retard.

The Pats can't win them all, even though they clearly could - i can only imagine who your team is, and the best part is that nomatter who it it, they are inferior to the Pats.

  • @tobs22

Sadly, you're right. If these guys weren't so physically talented, most of them would be gangbanging--or in jail somewhere.

  • @tobs22 why call them ghetto ?

  • @PerfectceII Adrian Wilson (at the time the Arizona Cardinals safety) jumped a 66 inch hurdle. Try and tell me he couldn't dunk a basketball from the free throw line. Don't assume, it makes an a * * out of you.

  • @tobs22 NHL at 2nd?..NBA at 4th??..you're mentally retarded..and im gonna be honest with you..NHL is cool, but for 2nd?? your're fucking retarded!!..and yes, you better believe im from BOSTON!!..and i still think NBA is a solid 2nd...go hang yourself...

  • @MegaCritic23 I clearly explained my reasoning in a prior comment. Please move out of my state.

  • @tobs22 nooo bro

    1. NFL

    2. NBA

    3. MLB

    4. NHK

  • @tobs22 1) NFL

    2) NBA

    3) MLB

    4) NHL

  • im surprised he didnt kill himself

  • Watched this live, amazing this guy still kicked for the saints up till last year...

  • @rightbefore what the fuck are you talking about?!

  • @younglouisianaboy199 he said they, as in the saints. not he, as in karney.

  • lol

  • I watched this live, stoned outta my head, and freaked out..

  • They can make a 63 yard FG to win but not a 2 yard PAT?

  • @zmanstreeval He never made a 63 yd fg. That was Tom Dempsey

  • @younglouisianaboy199 lol he said hey not he dumbass

  • I wonder where carney is nowadays cuz I'm damn sure he's not kicking fg's in the NFL LOL!

  • Some of the comments are pretty messed up.

  • my mom dated john carney in hish school. this was not a great day to watch football

  • =/ I know Jon Carney, played flag football with his son Luke the season after this.. I don't like reading some of these horrible comments guys. He's a person people. Even if they would have won they wouldn't have gone to the playoffs due to other games played that day.

  • i wish i had a saints fan with me watching that game, cuz i know he would get all excited over the touchdown...i mean extra points are like obvious scores, no1 really takes them into consideration

  • oh my god. such a let down but i feel so bad for the guy

  • carney should have been slapped in the face for that. thumbs up if you agree

  • damn, that was worse than hartley missing a 29 yarder.

  • I don't think everything was fine. Thumbs up if you agree

  • if i was carney i pull my shot gun out of my jock strap and kill myself on the field

  • When I saw this live, I thought his teammates would actually kill him... it was that type of tone when he missed.... glad he's still alive

  • actually after some research favre's dad died about an hour after this play

  • OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

  • Serves him right for playing on a football team with a bunch of niggers.

  • @726Chandler OMG I LMAOD SO HARD AT THAT COMMENT

  • This was the day Brett Favre's father died...

  • @mmeweb3411 Ummm... no. His dad died on Dec. 21, 2003...

  • @yecolnedak ummm...this game took place on Dec. 21, 2003 a.k.a the day brett favre's father died

  • Their are 5 Saints fans on the internet!!

  • Everything definitely was not fine. This PAT debacle still beats what the Redskins accomplished last week. Both are very entertaining though.

  • i remember watching it thinking my jags had it in the bag. then the saints started their laterals and i was like wtf. then the touchdown was scored and i was pissed. then the 1/1000 missed extra point happened. wow, i was so relieved.

  • everything was fine really?

  • kinda like what happened to boise state.

  • That never-ending pitch was just sick.

  • That's why NBA is better

  • @PerfectceII bullshit this is what makes the game interesting fuck the nba

  • @PerfectceII (palm face) nba is ok but nfl pwns all!

  • @PerfectceII 2 moths ago, you said the NBA is better than the NFL, im hear to tell you that you are stupid. NBA: the team ran down the court and made another basket, yay!. He bumped into him, foul......

  • The agony of that anguished "NOOOOOOO!" has to be one of the most honest calls in all of sports.

  • and the attempt by John Caney...NOOOOOOOO!

  • @frankandmarty

    *Carney

  • My favorite college team Arizona lost 3 games this year because our kicker cant make extra points it really is a shitty feeling losing because a kicker fucks it up.

  • SOOOOOOOO SAD THOSE GUYS WORKED SOOOO HARD THEN HE SCREWED THAT UP OMG HOW COULD HE DO THAT LOL

  • me too thank god for the NFL ticket directv.

  • LACES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was week 16 in 2003. The funny thing is that Carney was perfect in that season in PATs until that miss, and was 403 out of 408 in his 14 year career. Another fun fact: Mark Brunell was the QB for the Jaguars in that season. Later, in 2009 he was traded to the Saints where he saw and won his first Super Bowl later that season.

  • @traxfish I remember turning on the TV and seeing this whole play unfold right in front of my eyes, knowing that the Saints needed this game to keep their playoff hopes alive...then I saw Carney miss and could not believe it.

  • what year was this???

  • @RolandoYesca 2003

  • Even if the Saints tied it and won, it wouldn't help them because the Cowboys won their other game to clinch a playoff spot. And also the Saints won the Super Bowl so I guess this is best left forgotten

  • 0:46 ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Packers QB Brett Favre will decide...

    Don't hold your breath, Mort.

  • @BustaBylsma it was not about retirement, his dad died that day and was probably deciding whether he would play the next day against Oakland, which he did

  • Uhhh.... Everthing was fine

  • I Remember This Game And Im A Jags Fan And I Was Shocked Myself When He Missed O Well Jags Win

  • YEAH JAGS!
