  • haha this guy is stupid, the wolfman is an amazing movie with a great story line to it and also some pretty solid acting and special effects. The only down side i can think of is that it does move quite fast but it is a small down side to an other wise enjoyable movie.

  • Alright Vaughn. I liked your review although I do not agree with it at all. Here's why:

I felt like the characters had enough depth considering what was currently going on in their lives. Taking, for example, Emily Blunt's characer. Her fiancee was just horribly murdered and she's in a house with her creepy would-be father-in-law until Lawrence shows up. I'd be rather lethargic too if I was in a similar situation.

As for Lawrence investigating his brothers movie even though he's

  • just an actor, I took it as him trying to atone for missing so much of his (brothers) life. Also, I didn't feel like Sir Anthony Hopkins was channeling Hannibal at all during this film. Yes he was a bad guy but a different kind of bad guy. As for the score, I found it added to the thrills and I actually really liked the music. I "rooted" for Gwen as well and her attempt to try and save Lawrence. I didn't expect them to have "lives" after all the tragedy.

  • the film kicked ass ok great story and wolf the only thing boring about this was ur voice it made me want to sleep

  • watch this movie streaming go 2 sd4.0rg change 0rg to org

  • The reason he had such good killing skills in human form is because he still has the strength of "the beast". You notice this obviously in his fight with Lawrence BEFORE they both turn to beasts. I personally LOVED this movie, but thats just me.

  • your a robot! And i mean that your voice is in the same tone through out the video

  • But he's not a paid actor whose soul purpose of his job is to entertain us. He is just telling us what he thinks about this movie.

  • Anthony Hopkins as the senior Talbot was hardly similar to his turn as Hannibal.

  • i completely agree with u...it was possibly one of the worst movies made this year so far...

  • Nice Review !!!

  • Nice clip, have you seen the new wolfman movie? that movie was awesome, i saw it yesterday and now i cant stop watching it online at moviesonline.blogbugs. org

  • I like movies like these, i guess you can't please everybody all the time. I think the only movies this guy liked were Brokeback Mountain and The Crying Game. Well what can you expect?

  • At least he know something about horror movies. You don't know nothing. Probably you playing to much computre games and because of that you like movies with computre efects. This movie is unerealistic and ALIENS is realistic. But today they don't need to spend money, because people watch everything. Boring...

  • You say ALIENS is realistic? What planet do you come from? Lol.

  • Is realistic because monster in the movie is made realistic, this werewolf is made with computer effects and look more a carton. You know the scene when change in werewolf. In movie history you have much more realistic scenes when people change in werewolf. But I see that you dont know nothing about horror movies.

  • I guess you're an expert and know everything. Too bad bec. it's you who does'nt know what you're talking about. You have to be really ignorant to believe that "Aliens" is realistic.

  • Monster in a movie ALIENS is real looking!!! If you don't see this you are stupid! Scene in WOLFMAN(change in werewolf) is not realistic loking. Its FAKE loking. You se that this are computre efects. If you dont se computre efects you are probably retarded. Even in AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON they had no computre animation in 1981 but special efects are better. But probably you are some stupid american kid who don't know nothing about horror movies.

  • Wow your words are very rude. I don't think i like to continue replying to you. We're just supposed to exchange our opinions not insult each other. Your country seems to be without any decency. I feel sorry for you.

  • When I was reading your comments I had a feeling that I reed comens of some american chiled. Coments was sound like this. Now I look your page and I see you are 52 and from UK. Im sorry for rude words because I respect older people. But because you are older is strange that you didn't saw older movies. And you don't see difference when in a movie is computre animation to obvious and you dont know that in some older movies things are more real looking but they didnt have computre animation then.

  • @RGN07 funnyy only movie he liked has a the only gay kiss scene ever to get famous O.o ...queer any body?....

  • i thought it was cool

  • toughest movie critic? you can make a good joke vaughn

  • such an annoying douch

  • blahhh this movie sounds so boring lol

  • lol not bad for a reviewer but seriously man your voice is crappy. We need to get some coffee in your or something because you just are not that good. With so many others out on youtube it will be hard for me to want to watch you again.

  • You're late to the game so here's a rundown of the formula: I see a movie at around 9pm, and work on the video review until about 7am. No one puts this much into a review video and gets it posted before me. YT has been killing my view count lately with rare refreshes, angling viewers like yourself to "Partners" such as BeyondTheTrailer.

The voice complaint is a mic problem, so buy me a new one.

  • from what I see its not a mic problem you just have a mono tone. Get some hand motions into it and maybe more than just a mono tone and it wouldn't be so bad, thats all I'm saying.

  • why don't you take some time out of your busy day writing to show the video world how's it's done... oh wait, you have no intention of ever shooting a video!

if you only take advice from hyper fags then there are pletny of channels for you to stalk.

  • I'm glad you had time to read and respond to my 'hyper fag' message. Seriously though without me and the others like me saying anything to people like him he would never understand that he could be better if he were to try a few things differently. I have done a video, liked it so much I put it up but then took it down when I was finished. I'm sorry you think I'm just some crazed person on the internet looking for fame or something but the truth is I'm just helping out, I know its not the best.

  • I have to disagree on all the bad stuff u said, I loved everything about this movie. the one thing i do agree with on u was the elfman soundtrack it didnt really work for me during the action sequences. But I really loved the film. One of the only times I actually disagree with you, but hey to each his own.

  • The Movie the Wolf-Man is not a FANTASTIC!!Brilliant! Movie,But is entertaning as Hell! The charcters are not described well and they are focused on the Wolf-Man!Come on if a Ancient curse attecked your City I don't think that they would care about going to H E B or Wal-Mart!? Do you? although I agree mostley excpeted for the Charcter Development part.

  • This movie was definitely a piece of shit. TERRIBLE acting from the lead, one dimensional characters, and all of that makes it impossible to be interested in anything else.

  • Are you agreeing with what I said? I didn't like it either.

  • Yeah. I just find it annoying that they (universal) would put the director who did jurrassic park 3 and jumanji with this remake you'd think theyd care more than to just let it go to hell like it did.

  • why dose del toro always look high. i just cant take him serious.

  • First movie I saw him in, License to Kill, I thought it was a makeup effect.

  • ite the stinken wolfman ripping people apart people whta more do you want? yes good characterization would have been great but this has been re edited and passed from directors thta im surprised it got to theater we should enjoy it for what it is a b class horror movie...no its not going to reveloutionize movies but its good enough to not complement the original even though the original can not be topped isnt thast how it always is with remakes?

  • nice review man, i was interested in seeing this, but after a few reviews, and this one, i gotta say, im a little dissapointed in how weak it seems :-( i was hoping it was going to be a good remake. i also just started a review channel of my own, on movies, and cds, if anyone wants to take a look

  • LOL brian peppers!

  • I agree. This movie looks pretty cliche

  • Sounds like a fair review.. probably going to skip this one, 'cuz, as you said, it looks very by-the-numbers judging from the trailer.

  • I like neutral critics that gives both: The Negative aspects of the movie, but The POSITIVE ascpects of the movie too. As a critic you have to give both points of view, not bias towards the negative only. Thanks.

  • "You know what, the CGI effects, makeup, costuming—pretty strong"

"One of my favorite things about the movie is Hugo Weaving"

What part of that did you not hear?

  • good review, thanks

  • What's character development? Is it a look inside the lives of the characters and not just the main story? (I'm bad at explaining this)

I'm currently writing a script and I was just curious.

  • You want your characters to be "alive" when the movie is off. Good character writing gives them tasks and emotion while they are off screen. In The Wolfman, no one does anything unless it involves a werewolf, and that friend... is lame.

  • so a wolfman is a man turned wolf at the fullmoon, yet a manwolf is a wolf turned man at the full moon. Is this the case or has there been movies that do this differently?

  • Tony, I've never heard of this "manwolf" you speak of. Maybe you can shed some light on this.

  • don't use too many characters - and those you use; flesh them out. for a great script, you need to really feel these people, as if you knew them personally on an intimate level. work out their background, childhood, CV etc. what are their fears, aspirations etc. why the effort? because if you dig down deep enough into the souls of your characters, then the story will write itself. guaranteed!

  • Not surprised this is a bit of a mess, considering its troubled production!
