  • @SpikeFlinch oh yes yes thanks I realize that :) when I said this I was referring to a zen tambour in general :) well I had a great sigh of relief when you said yes because I don't feel like taking up a usual and common sounding instrument, but rather looks amazing aswell as sounds amazing

  • @ChristianPutter1 Thank you!

  • @SpikeFlinch oh no I've been dreading this question do you ship this to south Africa ? If not I'm going to be very very sad:(

  • @ChristianPutter1 Yes I do... I never have yet, but looks like USPS will in fact ship to South Africa.. Shipping would be $108us Hope this helps some... -Spike

  • @ChristianPutter1 But remember that this is a older Zen that I no longer build. I only build the 18" Zen right now... But will soon be offering the 14" (i Hope)

  • @SpikeFlinch Wow :) someone on a YouTube channel replied :D I'll be checking those videos soon and oh I just want to say the art work you do is amazing :)

  • Hey I might be a client of yours soon:) but I really need to know if you could play this instrument faster with more of a beat. Now I don't mean rage music because I know it supposed to be soothing but could you play it with a faster tempo and it would sound good? Please get back to me. Thanks in advance

  • @ChristianPutter1 It can be done... but not be me... I am not that good at playing...

    Have a look at exoticvessels(dot)com/zentambour/videos.html

  • Dear Santa...

  • @OHKooIceMan Dat funny....

  • @OHKooIceMan Exactly what I was thinking

  • Absolutely gorgeous instrument and great sound. I love the individuality in the various designs you have. If I didn't already have too many instruments that I can't play, I would probably be very tempted!

  • @adamdrummer101 Thank you... that is the ulgy olds ones... the new ones look and sound much better now.. exoticvessels(dot)com/zentambour

  • sounds sweet :)

  • I love the sound...soon, I will have one too hopefully be able to play. If not, it will look awesome on the mantle. Your music moves me!

  • Now THAT's gorgeous tone. Good job.

  • @LilyISay Thank you.

  • This is by far the prettiest drum I found online - both in sound and appearance!! I can't help but ask - have you thought about selling your drums?

  • @NayaBlu Hi there, Yes, I do sell them. exoticvessels(dot)com/zentambour

  • I just have a couple of questions. How did you cut it? How do you know what size and shape to cut? How do you tune it? What metals work best? OK- that's more than one question- but it is beautiful and a job well done!!!

  • @newstart49 Hi there, On that one I used a jigsaw to make the cuts, but now I use a waterjet. It took a long time to figure out the best size and shape for the notes and I am still finding new ways.. I tune them by how long each cut is... the longer the cut, the lower the note. Standard mild steel works best.

  • what a beautiful instrument.... sounds much closer to the hang drum, but much more beautiful looking! Will have to google you. :)

  • @LaInspectora Thank you for you kind words.. that was one of the older drums..

  • Thanks!

  • Your drums are looking better and sounding better all the time!

  • Um... I built it.

  • 340 dollars??

    and you bought it??

  • They are $340US right now

  • $ ? ? ?

  • Thank you!

  • You do awesome work man! Beautiful instrument!
