@Cypher3212 Hi there, I still build them with that graphic, however, it is not a decal, it is painted on. You can get full details from the site. exoticvessels(dot)com/zentambour Thanks -Spike
@glowspaz Hi there, Yes I do. You can get full details at exoticvessels(dot)com/zentambour However, that is a very old model I no longer build. The new Zens are much better.. Thanks -Spike
@SpikeFlinch oh yes yes thanks I realize that :) when I said this I was referring to a zen tambour in general :) well I had a great sigh of relief when you said yes because I don't feel like taking up a usual and common sounding instrument, but rather looks amazing aswell as sounds amazing
@ChristianPutter1 Yes I do... I never have yet, but looks like USPS will in fact ship to South Africa.. Shipping would be $108us Hope this helps some... -Spike
@ChristianPutter1 But remember that this is a older Zen that I no longer build. I only build the 18" Zen right now... But will soon be offering the 14" (i Hope)
@SpikeFlinch Wow :) someone on a YouTube channel replied :D I'll be checking those videos soon and oh I just want to say the art work you do is amazing :)
Hey I might be a client of yours soon:) but I really need to know if you could play this instrument faster with more of a beat. Now I don't mean rage music because I know it supposed to be soothing but could you play it with a faster tempo and it would sound good? Please get back to me. Thanks in advance
Absolutely gorgeous instrument and great sound. I love the individuality in the various designs you have. If I didn't already have too many instruments that I can't play, I would probably be very tempted!
I just have a couple of questions. How did you cut it? How do you know what size and shape to cut? How do you tune it? What metals work best? OK- that's more than one question- but it is beautiful and a job well done!!!
@newstart49 Hi there, On that one I used a jigsaw to make the cuts, but now I use a waterjet. It took a long time to figure out the best size and shape for the notes and I am still finding new ways.. I tune them by how long each cut is... the longer the cut, the lower the note. Standard mild steel works best.
Deadmau5 - Strobe would sound so cool coming from this thing :P
