I love the fact that you show pictures from his entire career, it started a few years before I was born, but I inherited my parent's love for the artist. I was once invited to a Jewish celebration, and was questioned on how I knew "Hava Nagila" so well (as a WASP) It was because of his awesome rendition (a black man taught me to ding a jewish song =go figure) BTW, look up his political commentary, you may be surprised at how much sense he makes.

I first head this song on the 50's TV show I Love Lucy. Lucy, Ricky and the gang sing this song on a show and I don't know if this is originally Harry Belafonte's work or someone elses'.
