The first time I ever played a flight simulator I also practiced landings with user defined weather settings and realistic payware planes.

I always practiced (as I hope anybody does) in 3rd person camera just like in this video.

Having accomplished a proper landing trough this method and you think your done.

Then finally decide to never use a 3rd person cameria view but just the cockpit only.

Trust me, you'll lose your way before going trough some instrmental tutorials and cockpit only practice

you have record it using FSrecorder. default instant replay that you have in flight simulator wont show the movement of the flight controls.

Why does a crosswind landing acquire you to aproach the runway diagonal. It doesnt, im just saying.

I do such apraoches myself, oftenly with correct papi lights (proper glideslope) but I dont record them and post them on youtube, and I would never dare to see it as professional footage. I know FSX is not real flight, but it offers more to realism then what this video shows you.

runway centerline. If the pilot atleast flew from a NDB or a ILS he wouldnt have had this problem but be localized the centerline 8Nmiles before touchdown.

The plane tumbled to the left on touchdown, I wouldnt be surprized if IRL the left engine to hit the runway.

If you compare to other youtube vids cessna154 is a captain pilot.

IRL i dont think he is.

The PAPI lights were 4 whites all the times instead of 2reds2whites.

Center line was diagonal instead of straigh, it should be somewhat straight not completely but for the most part even under severe crosswind landings.

He landed 1/2th along the runway.

Severe 30knots crosswind for all i care is heavy, it doesnt mean the pilot to neglect or to be unable to accomodate to proper papi lights and to hold

@Mrmartinnico if you read the sounds.cfg file... It tells you to use the same files in the B737-400 sound folder. And this is for all the aircrafts... To occupy less disk space, but takes the enjoyment out of us. You may download sounds and replace the folders...

you have to a more aggressive slip while in ground effect, a lot more right aileron just before touchdown.. Also you're way too high. This looks like a really good 777 model, and free link online for it??

Horrible approach, and WAY to high...also dont use the rudder so violently, and use full flaps. And dont come in at 200mph, its just not gonna happen. Also dont be afraid to go around! R.I.P left landing gear and engine. Hope this helps you be a better pilot! Cheers!

I am sorry to say, but you need more practice. You were to high and if this was in real, you haved crashed because your left gear had broken. I can give you some tips:

1. Don't be afraid to go around.

2. Set always flaps for full(Especially if it's crosswind)

3. Don't have to high speed and don't be to high. If you are to low, you can hold 50% speed and then lower the speed before you touchdown.(Or 25%)

I hope this tips can help you to be a bether pilot;)

(ILS, NDB, VOR, GPS, with or without WAAS capability) and you are always taught never to be below a glidepath because if you are in IFR you may hit any terrain or something like that, if your high and can make the runway easily go for it but if not the go around.
