You try having a real tree with FERRETS in your home. When I did they dug all the water out of the base and the tree was crisp!

Thanks :) So far the only danger to this tree is Jake dog's tail LOL He gets excited and his tail takes out all the lower ornaments.

My hair is black with bright pink highlights. So yeah - I'm not very traditional LOL

do your ferrets eat or try to get to the tree or the decorations? this christmas is going to be the first one i'm going to celebrate with my ferrets, and i want to know if they eat the decoration, the three or the lights...i dont know...is it safe?

They can't with this tree. See how it's in a pot? They can't reach up to the branches. When I had a regular tree oh yeah - they climbed inside it, stole decorations. Real trees are the worst. Don't get one. The ferrets will pull all the water out of the tree stand.

What you should do is put it on some sort of table that they can't get to.

I have the same laptop, it ran out of memory from all my videos, and crashes every 10 min :(

The Inspiron? Mine wigged out when I was trying to install some programs and I had to end up paying $200 or so to get an extended warranty on it to get it fixed. I definitely don't recommend Dell but at the time I wanted a lap top for my biz and didn't have the cash to get one - they had financing.

Hey I can't get the lights to last either. And the "only one burns out"thing is crazy. The entire string always goes.

You sure put a lot of effort in to the decorations, I am lazy and only put up 3 things but I enjoy looking at other peoples creativity.

LOL no way. I'm sure some lights would be out and then I'd want to kill it like I nearly did this one. I was SOOO pissed when those lights were out. I just bought this tree last year and had it safely stored away in its box all year. How do lights just stop *#(@)#*@ working? And it's BS when they say that if one light burns out the tree will stay lit. Bastards.

Darn! I know how you feel though. I haven't had Christmas lights last more than a season here. It's pathetic! If candles weren't so dangerous I may go back to them....hmmmm....maybe mini-flashlights??

I totally forgot about Lowe's deal that you could get $3 off LED's if you brought in working or non-working regular lights. I'd already thrown out like six strands of lights this year!

It's a little chilly here, 54 at 7pm...but nothing like WA I'm sure!  Penny would have her own little help crew with Prius and Mickey...of course, Mickey only has eyes for Mocha. LOL :)
