Plus the United States Marine Corps base in Okinawa, and the United States Navy is present at regular intervals.

Respond to this video...American graduate schools in science and engineering are loaded with Chinese, and many of them became great scientists thanks to american universities and generosity.These days however, they are all moving back to China to become leaders of industry and academia. I only met a handful of Japs in graduate school.None of them could speak coherent english,and they were always kind of confused.I cant figue out how you get the idea you are better than other asians.

During the 1936 Chinese famine, 5 millions Chinese died. In the 1959 - 1961 Chinese famine, up to 43 millions Chinese died, according UN publications. During the Sino-Japanese war, Japan had to bring food into China from Vietnam and Thailand to feed the Chinese.
Japan, on the other hand has ALWAYS been self-sufficient with our food supply. Even today, with a much larger population, we STILL don't need foreign rice.

2. Don't transport your senior staff in "flying lighters."
3. Provide fighter escort at all times if flying lighters are the only available transport.
4. Stay well away from areas within range of the P-38.

@pervertt : 1. The Japanese did not know their code was broken. The US leadership went through great pains to ensure the Japanese weren't aware of it.
2. At the time, senior staff from both sides were flown to forward bases in a similar style. The only reason this ended in Yamamoto's death was that the US had broken their code.
3. They did provide fighter escorts. Not only that, they had several planes running as decoys. But again, the US could read their codes in plaintext.
