  • Please why the rap in a tribute to James Brown. Man this really turned me off.

  • we're all blood and guts inside

  • the rap almost made me turn

  • great video i really like this video. were there a dvd made of this concert .and is it for sale, if so what is the name of this dvd and how can i get a copy.

  • Where can I buy this DVD!?!

  • different skin---only one good feeling, please wake up evereybody...

  • why would a video tribute to JB have this crappyrap behind it? If oyu are going to put a rap as backdrop why not use classic rap that has JB beats from the 80's or 90's?

  • @nukes27 Some people, like Afrika Bambaataa, believe that James Brown was the first person to start "Rap", but back then it was called "Toasting" or something like that

  • @nukes27 that's true man, that's THE truth..perhaps someone payed for this rap/horrible overture...you know MONEY speaks lourder

  • @nukes27 Cause this is the P-Funk section of the show, so they are rapping over a P-Funk track. It's logical... it's the funk. Nuff said. Respect to Brutha James. May the funk flow like butter, where you hang now :)

    One love, one heart!

  • thanks for posting this.

  • why couldnt they have in Augusta, Ga since thats where James Brown is from.

  • Because that is not where King Records is from, duke874. If you read his bio, you would see why it makes more sense because his career shot off from that record company, not while he was in GA.

  • @duke874 unfortunately augusta georgia did'nt have the love you would expect them to have for jb. in the last 7 years of his career he played there only once or twice i believe, and the one that i remember drew about 1,200 people at most. maybe it's like the steve earle song that says something like, nothing will bring you down like your home town.

  • The story of Bootsy, check it out "From James to George" - at my page.

  • miss you james. Thank you for everything.

  • BUCKET HEAD

  • He had Blackness, but he also had a white wife who he loved very much! Why does crap have to be Racial all the damn time! He was a great performer, why can't people just leave it at that?

  • amen!

  • @utookmynameufuck

Soul and Funk ARE FOR THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE

  • @utookmynameufuck don't sweat it real cats know better.

  • @utookmynameufuck . You are right! Why don't they just leave it like that?

  • @utookmynameufuck whats was racial about what was said?

  • @ikecot3

You are not racist, you cant tell...

  • that was a good show

  • Icandy suck ass

  • A tribute to James Brown is, indeed, a worthy cause to make endeavors, but haven't those endeavors got to be up to par with the Godfather's own stringent standards?

  • yeah..i believe in JB's blackness too :) !!!
