Parkour is more about efficiency and overcoming obstacles. Freerunning is the flashy cousin of parkour. with freerunning you'll do more flips and other aesthetic moves. Swinging on a bar the way you do lacks the efficiency of just grabbing it and swinging off to gain momentum since you spin around and flip.
