@murphedup20 The only thing they changed about the transmission, which is what i assume you meant by drive train even though drive train refers to all parts that "drive" the vehicle: motor, trans, axles, differentials,etc. was they put in an electronic paddle shift system they dont mention.you dont need to, the subaru axuated all-wheel drive system kicks ass, and the one they put in stis is not the same as in your everyday impreza.because that is obviously not the subaru 2.0L and a smaller turbo

@murphedup20 They swapped out the 2.0 for a 2.5, and the smaller turbo is because it is a lighter car, and with too much power there'd be no control, thus, no gymkhana, the smaller turbo also has a greater boost range that can be tuned to offer a variety of power features.
