  • You should make full length horror movies. I would soo see this in theatres if it was full length. Awesome job. Keep it up.

  • Great Job! I have to take time out to check out your short movies. I really like this one.

  • Great Man. I loved the mood, setting and execution of your short.

  • Very nice work :)

  • Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but all Tony did was post production editing correct? Just found this version of the video and saw it was posted Oct. 22nd. I was a bit surprised!

  • @AyNKay Yes, that's correct. I directed this short and we edited it for BlackBoxTV together.

  • Liked Viper. Loved this! Bruce is excellent.

  • the production seems fairly expensive. why didn't you invest in marketing the great film? it's a shame

  • @JohnF30Music I'm glad it looks expensive. However, it only cost $200 to make. We promoted it on facebook, YouTube, etc. Feel free to spread it around, if you'd like. :)

  • I just got one thing to say, I LOVE this movie, this is very very good. I've read your behind the scenes vlogs on the making of this, so it was good to see this come together and of course seeing the finished product. I agree with one comment, you should definitely make a full length version of this!

  • @MarkOneFilms Thank you VERY much, sir. We'll see if I can work a feature out of this little idea. Perhaps an anthology?

  • Hey George, this is Cassia, Elly's old roommate. Great work!

This is a very well done short. You should definitely think about applying to have this and other films you produce in film fests. I know it can be an expensive process and sometimes just to have the judges or whomever tell you they aren't taking it--but you seem to have a really good idea of how to cut your shots well and a really good handle on how to pace you storytelling. I look forward to seeing your future productions.

  • @MistressCas Thank you, Cassia! That means a lot.

  • @GWSFilms You're very welcome! = )

  • nice work!

  • EPIC! you done a great job on this.

  • George, Fantastic job! I loved it! I especially love the way the pictures move in the ending credits! Great job and good luck in the horror film contests!

  • Wow, did you use a steadicam to roam around the girl escaping?

Very impressive lighting and editing :)

  • @fearlessfreakarc Thanks! We actually used a trackless dolly.

  • Awesome Dude :)

Saw it advertised on Indy mogul, and had to check it out a second time :D

Really good work, and by the way,was all the music by you?

  • @ezorab Thanks man! And, yes, I did write all the music.

  • I actually LOVED the lighting in this

    The hard shadows

as creepy visually as it is in the story that unravels

  • i swear when i heard the fly sounds i thought one flew in my ear

  • This is awesome!! It looks very professional, as if made for the big screen. I love the lighting, camera shots/angles, editing, and soundtrack! Blends seamlessly together for a really suspenseful/terrifying short :)

  • You really put this together well. I am such a fan of creativity

  • Also, I love my little brothers artwork for the end credits, so sick! :D

  • As much as I loved this short, which by the way made me jump, you know what part, my only critque would have to be the lighting in the cinematography, there were some really hard shadows and it made it a little difficult to see much of anything, especially any sort of detail. But, besides that this was an ace in my book. Bruce really creeped me out. lol

  • All your effort and work really paid off :) High quality visuals, well edited production values, and strongly suited music made for a very nice combination. Bravo guys! Very professional foundation for this piece and I especially liked the end credit sequence and the artistry there. Keep up the excellent work!

And Happy Early Halloween!! Thanks for sharing it!! Kudos!

    ~ Chris

  • Excellent, excellent work! Love it!

  • great work, very inspiring for my up coming short =)

  • Great work, George, Bruce, and Bobby!

  • god. im gonna have nightmares tonight. awesome job man!!!!!

  • Beautiful work George. I enjoyed the vlog lead up but the actual film was beyond expectations. Your music was right on target though a bit of an homage to other great horror themes. Lighting and cinematography was amazing, so were the graphics. I would say nice story but it was a bit unnerving so I think you hit the mark. Have you considered making a full length feature out of this?

  • @WizardOLivonia Thanks Wizard! I've thought about making an anthology horror film, much like "Creepshow" or "Trick R Treat," but I think I'm going to branch out into other genres first. I'm glad you found it unnerving. :D

  • awesome stuff, of course!

  • I really liked the girl getting out of the rope. Her movements were sooo creepy.

  • The only thing I didn't like in this video is the circling shot of the girl taking off the rope.

Very well done. Better than anything I can do!

  • George, I am extremely impressed. Everything about this was totally awesome! Great haunting score!

  • That was AWESOME. Way better than any of the films I saw at the festival. Great acting and editing too! 8DDDDDDDDD

  • this was amazing :D

  • Nice job George and crew. I really like lighting, angles of the shots and tempo. Especially the doorway chase scene with the elongated shadow. Of course the music is very good as always. : )

  • Great work my friend! Keep up the good work! :)

  • Your DP is a genius. Such great low-light shots. Well done!

  • are they zombies

  • This was so great! The acting and special effects were great, not to mention the camera work. I loved when the zombie girl's shadow when the killer ran out the door!

The credits were awesome too! Who did the artwork?

  • Great job George!!!!!!!!

  • Probably the most polished short film I've seen in a while, beats all the other crap coming out of film schools.

    Keep em coming!

  • Good job, George.

  • This looks phenomenal! I was on the edge of my seat from the start, not to mention jumping from it a few times. So great!

  • Gets me all into the Halloween spirit. Terrific stuff. Bruce and the girls are all amazing.

  • Awesome!!! Great job!!! :D
