@Rao665 have you got something better to do? apart from hating other nationalities? At least, stop wasting your life on hateful comments because, its not helping, it wont do anything good. Apart from having 1000 Filipinos arguing at you on Youtube. I can argue with you all I like 24/7. why don't you try killing yourself and ask Paulino Alcántara if he's Filipino or not. And try to get back to life and tell me what his nationality is? Would this work for you?!
@Rao665 Ok your on. what do you want me to say? "no one really cares?" happy?. "What? speak English boy". have you not heard of the English language before?, you don't seem to speak it so well. Since that typing words on Google translate does not help, "man". "if you don't have a life that's on you".Have you not heard of "Life" before? "your the one on his dick" well, can you say it in Swahili or English please and use the correct term instead of using the word "Dick". If you meant Moby "Dick".
@Rao665 Oh My Goodness! Somebody should praise you for your ignorance and stupidity. This shows that you completely NEVER have been to the Philippines. At least I have some education, Learnt English fluently and have shelter. You need to visit Philippines and see where we live with your own eyes. I clearly do not live in a hut, I live in a HOUSE. Do you know what a house is? You should go back to school and focus on your future, Idiot.
@Rao665 "Hey I think your hut is flooding. go fix it!" Sorry, I don't know what you mean by the term, "hut" and I don't speak stupidity and ignorance language. Can you speak properly and try to improve your way of speaking instead of getting these words that you call, "Insulting", from other people or the dictionary. I appreciate that you can read but sadly, your argument does not produce high standards. "thank you for proving my point." do you realise how lucky we are?! guess not....
@Rao665 There is no such thing as a textbook that can help you on how to argue whilst using a computer or a laptop. Why dont you try saying your hateful, discrimination comments on Filipinos to my face then. I don't even want to know where you from. I don't understand how you were raised like this. What have Filipinos ever done to you? If your excuse is that they're argueing with you, You've clearly started this whole Discrimination...
@Rao665 Hahaha! Idiot, clearly got nothing to say just keep removing comments and this will be all over...Wow you've really learnt something for once and "sees odd", might want to work on that...
@Rao665 "hey aren't you suppose to be eating fish heads and rice out in some dirty alley, while wearing sandals?" you've clearly have no heart AND no brain. What a surprise...

@Rao665 Seriously, Copying and pasting from comments & the internet?! is this how much you've learnt in school? Takes you a long time for you to type a big load of bullshit from the internet that you cant say in real life? Maybe we should meet face to face and see how "clever" you are and try to "take me out". Those words, "Ang Badang Ako Ang Badang Badang" they are tagalog, but we don't repeat words like your doing now. You need some tutoring.

@rpalcantara10, which museum can we see his old jersey and boots? Is it at Camp Nou?
I posted this at another video, but for those who are interested, we do have a national professional league. Just started this year if I'm not mistaken. It's LBC-UFL (United Football League). Hope it becomes as popular as the PBA.
To all our kababayans in Iloilo, why not be at the forefront of promoting football? As the birthplace of Senor Alcantara, I think you guys have the "credentials".
Born in Iloilo City.Schooloed in CPU,Jaro.Grow up in lapaz .Hope someday the team mates of Paulino Alcantara ca play a friendship game between Iloilo and FC Barcelona for the benefit of philippine football,hi..hi..:-)
ilonggo all the way, tani mag mayo liwat ang dalagan sang football sa iloilo, sa mga player da sa CALINOG which is my hometown tani mag sige kamo hampang.
ndi ko alam na may pinoy pala sa barca dati. although im a real madrid fan but i salute to mr. alcantara. sayang ndi football nauso dito sa pinas kundi basketball. im just wondering, wala naman gaanong height ang pinoy pero nagpupumilit sa basketball samantalang kung football ang pag uusapan siguro naman may chance or may future tayo kahit papano. i know alot of talented filipino football players pero mukang sayang lang kasi walang professional league ng football dito. haayy... tsk tsk.
yep im sure his a filipino theres a FCBARCELONA museum and theres a tablet or wall where the list of all foreign/international players of FCBarcelona are shown and there you go we got two Filipino there Paulino and another guy. and afaik paulino is a record holder of 571 games played and 571 goals. he is also called the net breaker because he broke a net during a game with his strong kicks! :) PInoy FTW mabuhay!
@brianmalig the other guy was Señor Manuel Amechazurra from Negros Occidental, Philippines. He is actually the first ever Filipino to play in Barca, (about 7 years before Señor Alcantara played) but both of these guys are LEGENDS. The first ever AZKALS!
I'm sure paulino is a filipino, kamukha sya ng aking mga lolo's here in cultihan, taal, batangas. Pantaleon Alcantara & Simeon Alcantara. Proud to be a filipino.
"In 1920 Alcántara, along with Zamora, Samitier and Sesúmaga, was selected to represent Spain at the Olympic Games. However, Alcántara chose to stay at home to take his final medical exams."
you guys sure this guys filipino? he looks so italian/mediteranean with those deep set eyes. (no disrespect) just curious (i myself am filipino) if he is filipino...hanep parang, manny pacquiao nung panahon nya :)
I'm Ilonggo, and love football-- we play during med or u week, tho people from the rural campuses were far better. Was researching a bit about Ilonggo history and I was thrilled when I came across Paulino. Proud :D
Yes, if you go to Camp Nou they have a shrine for him there in the museum, his pictures are everywhere and a statue. Paulino Alcantara is a forgotten filipino sports hero for the most part.
i a gree.. i play quiet well in football and basketball but for few years of playin football i can say it's very easy to learn.. I'm only 5'8 but i usuall manover guys taller dan me, in football d smaller, stronger, faster d better..
filipinoes should be playing football, its the ideal sports for us because we`re short and there would be more people playing.we are a parody in basketball.the whole world laugh at us when they see 5ft 2/4 filipinoes wearing baggy basketball shorts which hangs all the way to their ankle. what a joke.
@butchikik222 haha i mean think about it. I've seen majority of my cousins move quick on a concrete court with flip-flops on. If that aint skill, i don't know what is. Get some soccer boots and use them feet man.
@Rao665 bopol pala to eh..wag k nga epal..hnd k nga pinoy eh..kaya hnd mo maintindihan..umuwi k nalang s inyo tulungan mo nanay mo natuwa p sau un..apura k comment ng ala naman kwenta..hahaha LOOSER!!
yes i think pinoy are better playing soccer than basketball i saw many pinoy playing soccer and they have the potential hope soccer be a notional sport in my motherland
@stakisolo lol! Yeah, true bro. I think Flips will be good in football (soccer). I mean look at Messi, the man is only 5'7, but his SKILLS is what makes him a giant... Even bigger than Ronaldo.
I wished the Philippines would see their potentials in Soccer, rather imitating those Giant Apes to throw Balls in a Basket. But that seems to be a kind of frustration which Filipinos love to put on tehmselves. Aspiring to be taller as they usually are, or whiter as a Vampire could be.
Nice Job!!! Do great things!!! And good luck!!! Kababayan!
paulino alcantara was born in Iloilo, Philippines known for producing national players in the Philippines, rpalcantara, did you come from Iloilo also?
There were no jersey numbers back then as it was not required but F.C. Barcelona confirmed to me that he would of been given the #10 as it was tradition to give the best player on the team the #10 jersey i.e. Messi, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Romario etc..
SEA players can succeed at the top! Simon Tahamata (Moluccas) and Fandi Ahmad (Singapore) were both very successful in Holland, especially Tahamata at Ajax, later at Standard Liege in Belgium.
Now there's of course Giovanni van Bronkhorst (Moluccas)
acecrusade, only a very few people in the philippines can speak spanish fluently. tagalog is a regional language mainly spoken in central luzon. most of us here in the philippines speak visayan dialects and would prefer to speak english or spanish if we can learn and be fluent in both. only stupid, parochial, ethnocentric, and narrowminded filipinos would make tagalog the spoken language of education and commerce in this god forsaken country.
the filipinos' national sport/game is 'sepak takraw' or 'sipa' in tagalog, which means that we filipinos are really good at kicking balls. one of you is right in saying we should stop comparing and start playing the beautiful game and start kicking some balls out there in the football field. but i still consider basketball an idiotic national passtime for filipinos anyhow. we don't have any future in that kind of sport.
if we could only have a football league in the philippines, it will be a great step.. there are many potential players yet to be discovered specially from iloilo, where paulino was born..
good 1 i have a big idea with that in this summer im going to philippines im gonna teach them how to play,.... if philippines was in europe we filipinoes had been winning the european cup lol no offence hhe

yep im sure his a filipino theres a FCBARCELONA museum and theres a tablet or wall where the list of all foreign/international players of FCBarcelona are shown and there you go we got two Filipino there Paulino and another guy. and afaik paulino is a record holder of 571 games played and 571 goals. he is also called the net breaker because he broke a net during a game with his strong kicks! :) PInoy FTW mabuhay!
brianmalig 2 years ago
@brianmalig the other guy was Señor Manuel Amechazurra from Negros Occidental, Philippines. He is actually the first ever Filipino to play in Barca, (about 7 years before Señor Alcantara played) but both of these guys are LEGENDS. The first ever AZKALS!

I'm only 5'8 but i usuall manover guys taller dan me, in football d smaller, stronger, faster d better..
eddie2989 2 years ago
filipinoes should be playing football, its the ideal sports for us because we`re short and there would be more people playing.we are a parody in basketball.the whole world laugh at us when they see 5ft 2/4 filipinoes wearing baggy basketball shorts which hangs all the way to their ankle. what a joke.

Kababayan!

@rpalcantara10 what was his jersey number?
NUFCFTW9 1 year ago
@NUFCFTW9

356 goals in 357 matches. That's the record of the maximum goalmaker in Barça history. Good tribute!

acecrusade 3 years ago
xpressivist 3 years ago
the filipinos' national sport/game is 'sepak takraw' or 'sipa' in tagalog, which means that we filipinos are really good at kicking balls. one of you is right in saying we should stop comparing and start playing the beautiful game and start kicking some balls out there in the football field. but i still consider basketball an idiotic national passtime for filipinos anyhow. we don't have any future in that kind of sport.
xpressivist 3 years ago
he is the all time best barca player..
if we could only have a football league in the philippines, it will be a great step.. there are many potential players yet to be discovered specially from iloilo, where paulino was born..
