  • This time I disagree..You can build muscle and lose fat at the same time.You don`t need fat to become stronger.People get this crazy idea that first you need to bulk up consideraly and have some fat on to build muscle, but that is not true.

  • think about it, if you put on muscle your body fat percentage would drop therefore you should stay as ripped as you were at the least. For me personally I'm getting more ripped and putting on muscle same time after 2.5 years of training

  • what about if your 16 when you first started working out? Like i was 16 when i first started working out and now I'm 18 and for the first year i noticed huge differences and even the second year i noticed a lot of changes too (more so for my chest though) But my question is can you get more strength gains and muscle gains at an earlier for more than 1 year and a half? (like they say) Cuz I've been working out for 2 years and i want to know when it will start slowing down for me

  • @cheaner1 your getting big gains so far coz your still growing, its gonna start slowing down for you soon i guess, at the age of 16-20 you pretty much build the most muscle coz your body is growing on its own already

  • Jimmy struthers told me to do p90x 9 times a day and lift only 16 times a day,Using german volume training and i will stay ripped and lean the whole year and the diet he uses is 49 peices of carrots and apple sauce.

  • Great videos. But it is pretty dumb to believe that if you are in a calorie deficit your body will go to muscle before fat for energy. That makes no sense whatsoever. Do some research on human physiology.

  • You haven't seen strength gains in years because you train with only high reps. Maybe if you dropped your reps and actually used heavy weights you would gain more strength.

  • You guys also consider your current weight and bf %, a guy who's 130 works out for a year and gets to 160 or so they might not plateau and not have a hard time staying ripped and building muscle but a guy at the same height and a natural athlete similar bf but at 180 will probably slow down after a year at 200 and have a harder time staying ripped and getting bigger, its not unconvential however stayin reasonably lean and getting bigger but if youre starving and have cuts everywhere...

    Find a weight where by the time you get to 8-12 reps, you can't go anymore.

  • @DesignZxD use a weight that allows you to do 12 reps at the most( reaching failure) but that you can do at least 8 times with proper form

  • You guys likely haven't seen a strength gain because you don't change your workout up and do Hypertrophy - strength - power cycle ... This is how athletes continue to get stronger sometimes even in season.

  • @ilovehonda20 you're going to build a certain amount of muscle by just eating healthy and doing cardio, then when you see what you are working with build that shit up!! with protein protein protein man!!

  • @ilovehonda20 that counts as you: skinny in muscle-terms means no muscle. In your case, they mean 'skinnyfat', a bodybuilding term used to describe someone with high bodyfat but low muscle. Skinny-muscle, high-fat = skinnyfat = skinny guy.

    You can just control your diet, eat wholemeal carbs etc for a bit, you'll lose fat, and lift weights at the same time. You'll achieve your goals. Skinny in muscle building means low muscle, not necessarily low fat. Just follow their advice.

    I have been doing gym for about 5 months now, body fat is steadily dropping and muscle gains and strength gains are fine. I still have about 20% body fat to drop whilst building muscle. Will I still plateau in a year burning fat and bulking at the same time even if my body fat is still around 10-15%?

  • @swatts1987 youll be fine youre bodys not going crazy searching for energy because if youre high in bf then youre body already stored a whole bunch of it as fat youll be able to gain muscle and drop fat easily but you might not be able to tell for a while and youre weight might be inconsistent meaning itll be up and down

  • @TheSundayDelight dude, these guys arent doctors, talk to DOCTORs about that, these guys can talk to you about nutrition, weight lifting, ans such as a whole, but in terms of whether or not blood type affects protein absorbtion....thats a rather advanced question and is not in the books of household knowledge by any means

  • @TheSundayDelight blood type has nothing to do with your metabolism. it's just which antigens you have on your red blood cells and what antibodies are in the plasma. it's only useful to know what blood type can be given in transfusion. this diet has been made up with no scientific evidence backing it. if you're ab that means you have a and b antigens on your rbcs and you don't have the antibodies for these so your plasma can be donated to anyone! go give blood. positive means you're rh positive

  • @h00k3d0nchr0n1x yes and no because when they say you're bodys gonna use your muscle as energy and 'eat' your muscle, they also indirectly are talking about your body compensating your muscle gains because theres a lack of nutrients and and energy, if you dont eat properly and workout your muscles won't recover and overtime they'll plateau and make even get smaller

  • I started bulking at around 7 or 8%, 8 pack and all. I have now started a clean bulk - I am gaining mainly muscle but also a bit of fat, my 8 pack is just about still there but won't be for long.

    Been clean bulking 2 months, always on a good surplus, will probably have an OK 6 pack still when I finish in about 6 months but it will make cutting period shorter and easier whilst keeping all that rock hard muscle!

    Basically, I agree with Twins: more muscle = more fat.

  • @Suhwayme hodge twins advise to way at LEAST 2 - 4 days before hitting the same muscle again.. if your muscle is not sore and feeling good you can hit it again. you dont NEED a whole week of rest to hit it again.. but thats how i do it due to time constraints.
