Strong Cat Stevens feel in this one. I can hear some of his unique percussive approach filling some of the space between the chorus chords. It could be a more upbeat style, like "Rubylove" off "Teaser and the Firecat" or perhaps more mellow, like "On the Road to Find Out" - which is very similar lyrically. I may have to cover this at some point.

The guitar chords and riffs remind me of Little Martha by The Allman Brothers. Not finger picked like that but the open D tuning and a couple of the riffs are very similar. Still sounds great though ,nice job.
