I've been having a consistent sore throat, mild fever, and on-and-off headache for 10 days. Haven't had a throat infection last this long in my life. The lame doctor did a quick strep test that came back negative and dismissed me. I'm going back to insist on more thorough tests including throat culture and blood test for mono.
Yup I have mono now too. :( It sucks, I wanna carve my throat out haha,, sigh. I feel like shit, and my doc didnt give me any meds. >.<

Ahhh I just got back from the Dr and had a monospot test and it was positive. :(
