Reading about people argue the bands religion is becoming ridiculous. SO WHAT if they're christian, I'm as atheist as people come and I love the band, the music, everything that makes their sound makes me happy. People need to realize that religion has valid part in just enjoying the music unless you listen while you pray or something I don't know. Just know that when someone says 'What genre is this?' you tell them 'Metal' or "Aren't they a christian band?" No, they're a metal band.

@krunchykrunchy No I totally get that and I don't like when bands preach in their songs either. I don't mind it so much when they're doing it live. Whatever floats their boat and gets them on the road so I can see them. But I don't find many bands actually preaching. For example August Burns Red doesn't really preach all that much. Their lyrics are more about finding a way out of struggles and moving on, something I think many people can agree on, regardless of religion. But I totally agree.

For example Jake writes about his struggles with addiction and just trying to live in a few of their songs and how finding God allowed him to carry on. Which I think is valid. Tell me any of the shit that they actually nominate has put forth the combination of meaningful lyrics, musical talent, and song structure as these guys.
