mensch, du hast keine ahnung. ich war dort (nicht bei den krawallen, aber in straßburg), und nachdem du stundenlang als friedlicher demonstrant ohne jede vorwarnung mit tränengas, gummigeschossen und schockgranaten beschossen wurdest, reicht's einfach. die fenster gehörten zu einer kaserne, die autos waren militärjeeps. angesichts der gewalt, die die NATO tagtäglich ausübt, sind das legitime ziele.

HELLO EUROPE. Germany should get out of NATO. Then U.S. could follow their lead and get out of NATO too. Then all the fine brave men of Europe could step forward and form a new military under the EU to defend their own nations. The combined EU could actually put their own money on the table to pay for it. Now some Dane has become the head of NATO. The U.S. has hundreds of Army majors who, by virtue of combat experience and training, are far better qualified to command NATO. Ha.

I'd rather a Danish politician lead NATO than any American officer. Remember, as far as the American military is concerned, shelling, strafing, bombing and/or firing upon allied (ie NATO) units is less likely to result in charges than spitting on the sidewalk behind a senior officer.

I believe that one cannot anwer violence with violence...my grandmother was bombed by the US twice, lost her house and beloved ones...still she understood that the leader she lived under was more to blame than those ousting him; back to your question, if it were afghani youth?..I could understand a bit.
