  • The sadness of this song comes to the front and the fun fades away.

One can hear sadness listening to Noddy too.

Great song anyway you take it.

  • Absolutely brilliant. I loved this song as a boisterous 8 year old and to hear it reworked by the guvner is magical.

  • a good tune can be streched in any direction...I think this is fun

  • Sounds like an English Johnny Cash

  • Just Beautiful!

  • Slade were that oddity , in Rock' n' Roll, there was no Art School pseudo intellectual element to they're music, truly working class, it was in a way folk music, music" by the people for the people". and so why should it not be reinterpreted , for that is what folk music does, the tunes and the intentions stay the same but the lyrics and the style change..ITS GOOD !

  • @Fireperv You're going to tell me that Slade, who made an album that included a 3-movement set of songs as an homage to classical music...

    Oh, never mind.

    C'est la vie.

  • This is so WRONG!!!

  • Totally brilliant

  • I wonder what Noddy makes of this.

  • Genius!
