Fine an instrument, record it (video preferable) and practice on the piano till you are convinced you can replicate it (don't do this where others have to listen, you will drive them crazy). Your own style will develop with in about 10 years. That is how it happened to me about 30 years ago. There is the part where the piano teacher fired me as a student for not paying attention...but we don't have to mention the ugly parts, right?
Best way to become a professional calliope player....find an instrument somewhere and watch and record people playing. Listen and watch these recordings till you are dreaming them over and over again. Then take to the piano (make sure no one is with in miles of you) and repeat, repeat, repeat, until you are happy...in about 10 years you will develop your own style...then you are there!
You have to have skills in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, and music if necessary. Then you have to be of a certain state of mind that is variously described as "insanity."
Who could listen to this and not smile? Delightful!

I concure, it's not the easiest profession to be in, very stressful, but fulfilling.
