Had she chosen the cell, it would've resulted in the immediate delivery of the painful truth of unrequited love. By choosing the bottle, she is delaying the painful truth that is, over time, inevitable. But, she is and will suffer regardless. Time is the only remedy for lovesickness. }:^}

  • I feel so sorry people don't get the words out of this song, because they concentrate on the video all the time. If you take just a moment for yourself, you'll see how sad this song is.   • This song's off of their COLLECTION compilation which features some hits off Massive Attack. This video I've seen once for a bit and the post video commentary about the alcohol related problems plaguing people of all walks of life. Apart from the video's subject matter, I have a feeling that this song will appear in a film noir type movie, hopefully a Michael Mann film. I bet somebody'll do a Heat video tribute using this song.

  • The hell are you guys talking about? It's a great video, how she keeps spinning out of control - it fits perfectly with the song. And that last shot, with the fox wondering on the streets of the town while she's passed out on the bench...that's the feeling of the whole song.

  • Just found out there from a small community forum that the girl is actually drinkin vodka, and was plastered for the shoot... apart from the street scene which is too dangerous to do that. Of course I don't expect anybody to believe the guff they read on the net, so do not be niave... apart from that the video does the job! the music even more so..
