  • This man is annoited. I knew him when he was at New Psalmist Baptist Church. His pledging of a fraternity has nothing to do with his ability to deliver the word of GOD. Stop looking to point out things that don't matter.

  • God's messenger aman after God's own heart. My Pastor from Pittsburgh, Pa

  • Check out youtube video called "Fraternities are nothing but gangs" by Pastor Tony Smith. Also check out youtube video "Discussing fraternities and freemasons". These videos discuss how silly it is for pastors such as this one that pledge for fraternities. Now many pastors may have pledged before becoming a pastor but this person "PLEDGED" his allegiance 2 a GREEK fraternity after he supposedly "PLEDGED" his service to God.He is Omega Psi Phi-u cannot serve heaven and the world. WWJD or say?

  • @misspitt09 I have had people approach me n years past advising me that this person was committing adultery & I would get so defensive because he was my pastor & I believed n his annointing. It was out of the ordinary for me 2 get upset but I would b awfully close when these statements were mentioned 2 me.I felt they were attempting to soil my spirit.I am not validating peoples statements as the truth but just saying I used to foolishly attempt to defend his non sense as well until i woke up.

  • I remember being in church and this pastor said"I got money!" "I am trying to teach you all how to get some money!" Like an idiot I laughed it off as I had laughed off so many ridiculous things that this person have stated.I tried to look past some of his statements but I had to wake up-finally.Here it is we give our money to the church and the church pays his salary and perks-he then arrogantly acts like we owed him money. This person is full of something that stinks &you know what this is.

  • @bclassof2013... the fact that you took so much time to bash anybody says a lot about YOUR character and indicates that you are little more than... shall we say.. a hater. I attend school in pittsburgh and have tried multiple churches, but it wasn't until i went to mt. ararat and heard Pastor Curtis that i knew i had finally found a place to sincerely worship. He's not perfect, no one is, but he is sincere and truly anointed. You question the budget assuming that all 8000 members give regularly

  • THANK YOU

  • Lets be realistic the church does need $ to operate to a certain level but how much?He is wants a new building for what.A church is love,GOD,worship not just a beautiful building.U could be in a tent in the park & if you want to worship GOD that is all that matters so we know that these new buildings are not about GOD but about the pastor's ego.If U listen closely he reveals his ego quite often.Stop drinking the koolaid & wake up, this pastor runs a business not GOD's house.Big Pimpin!

  • if mt ararat boast to have about 8000 members and let us say every member on average gives $5 (this is a low ball figure to account for those that give more and some that do not give at all).On a weekly basis of tithes and offerings 8000x$5=$40000 then $40000x52weeks in a year=over $2million per year. The mortgage has been completely paid off for a few years now so where does this money go?10%is stated to go to community but this still leaves you with taxfree $2mill year.this is an underestimate?

  • A few times he had given sermons about his money being short(being broke).I don't mind if pastors make money but try not to insult the intellegence of the congregation. Is his money short because of his $100k's salary?Does the church take care of some of his expenses?Does he get gifts from the church? While you are struggling to earn a living he is probably leaving his expensive Sewickley home to go golfing all day.life is good for pastor but what about you?

  • Ministry mixed with adultery,fornication,and homosexuality.Humm

  • For this person being associated with any so-called important board of directors, groups, organizations is more important than focusing on God's will.Yes it is important to be involved to certain extent but this person uses it for noteriety-for example fraternities-Jesus would be really proud of a full grown pastor that wanted to pledge to add to his reputation. He talks about politics but that is all he is apart of is politics to favor his circle of associates

  • Its about this guys presence growing not about saving and keeping lost sheep.I am only saying what most people in the Burgh have been saying about this person for years.People used to advise me about this person and lo and behold they are correct.I don't believe in speaking publicly about men/women of God but obviously he doesn't fit this category.

  • Good point-the reason he does not memorize his sermon is because if he did not have his written sermon then all of the arrogance would come out of his mouth from his belly. His mouth would represent what his spirit represents-nothing.I recall being at a sermon and he once made the statement "Do you think that I would preach for free?" uh yes-I would assume if God told you too.Classic example of a lifetime preacher who is looking to grow for himself not for God.

  • This man doesn't follow or believe a quarter of the things that he speaks about-cause this is what he is-a speaker. He is one of the most arrogant and selfcentered people always focused on adding new churches (to add more financial hardship to his congregation),getting more noteriety, adding more membership to his church to further inflate his already huge ego.Every person in the pulpit is not Gods annointed and this person is a prime example.Get past the feel good message and u find no SUBSTANCE

  • Pastor Curtis-is off the chain, He has yielded his spirit to the lord. I had the blessing of attending a wonderful sermon at my church Enon Tabernacle in Philly during holdy week. He tore it up...I just have three words The Comfort Of Rediness-powerful sermon. Call enon and get a copy of this.... Now that I have relocated to NC these folk definitely need his presence. Although I will be relocating back up north. The stuff that I have seen down here (these people are going to burn)..plyng God

  • Nice sermon. I think he should memorize his sermon instead of reading it to the congregation

  • That's what I like about Dr. Curtis...he always ends on Jesus. Because Christianity isn't Christianity without Christ! A Muslim could have preached this same text, but what makes the difference is CHRIST. PREACH DOC!!!!!

  • This is a great message and so relevant to the Body of Christ...particularly the admonition to ministers to take ministry seriously!! Powerful!

  • amen to this sermon---and the many comments

  • Thank God for this sermon .........GLORY!!!!

  • amen

  • Dr. Rev. William Curtis Visited my Church for our Church Growth Conference. This preacher is a true annoited Preacher. Brother preach, God is truly having his way through Dr. Curtis.

  • -now at the end of the sermen they get up especially the one in the back of him who coundn't wait....that preacher in the spirit had a hard time bringing that word across to those knot heads

  • As a young preacher, I have been studying this bro for years since seeing him live in Dallas. I have yet to find anyone truer to the text and bolder in delivery. This bro ministers!

  • man do u ever agree with you minjdemond my God young preachers and in fact all preachers should STUDY not only the bible but the art of preacher and dont just get up and read a text and talk about GOD will do the rest noooo study to show thy self approve !!

  • My man minjdemond is corrct. Young ministers have to pray and seek the Lord for annointing and exegesis not amusement and entertainment.

  • one of gods best...all young preachers should study sound homiliticians like curtis and avoid this contemporary bafoonery unfolding in pulpits today!

  • I feel you on that, I love this style.

  • Dr. William Curtis is a powerful preacher who has a way of taking a text and putting it into the 21st century ordeals of today.

  • preach curtis!

  • awesome bro, needed this message , thanks from Auckland New Zealand.

  • I must agree with you Pastoreeb 1906, he has an eye for the text. He has been my mentor for years. I love him because he is so humble.

  • This man can tear the house down. He's under the apostolic covering of Bishop Walter Scott Thomas.

  • William Curtis is an exegetical mastermind. He has the ability to see stuff in the text that most preachers can't see. Preach Doc!!!
