These type of muslims are making it so difficult for all ethnic minorities in this country. The English people are renowned for their tolerance, but when a cultural dress code is used as part of an arguement for religious rights, well thats just beyond belief! Please God help this country.

The lady was wrong to want to work for someone who doesn't understand her dress code and she is at fault for not making it known at the interview. However she does have the right to work but trying to get a job while most of the world discriminates against muslims is very hard right now.

Sikhs are often discrimiated against - mainly because people mistake them for muslims - still, you won't find a Sikh taking off their turban to trick someone into hiring them because Sikhs have something muslims have no concept of - INTEGRITY.

This is utterly repugnant behaviour that is trying to make a mockery of the judicial system while profiting from it and putting the veil on the map. If muslims like her need to hide themselves out of piety then i suggest they either go and get employment in some muslim shithole state or lock themselves in their houses. FACIAL EXPRESSIONS are an essential way of communicating and being as shes supposed to be a teacher she should know better. RIDICULOUS!

This is what we are saying, she is British but does not even understand a simple question. How do we expect her to teach our children??? If she wants right to wear a veil that is fine, but I have rights too, to have my chidren to be thought by a teacher who do not wear a veil.

Her English is so poor she cannot even say intimidated even though the interviewer just said it before her, and wants to teach in a Church Of England School?
As for her primitive desert cult, if she is so keen on it she should take her ass off to Saudi, where it originated. There they will acommodate her by FORCING her to wear that veil and locking her ass up in the home.

What a sneaky, underhanded little liar. She didnt have a problem doing an interview with men without a veil but after she's hired she starts problems. Great example of Islam though. They consider non-muslim lands as the realm of war and Muhammad said "War is deceit." And this is a great example.

It is her right to cover although it is NOT required to veil as our prophet said. The only reason she interviewed without the veil is that she needed to GET the job. Muslims who cover the way she has CAN'T EVEN get the interview. She is not sleezy and she is not a liar --- she is someone trying to get a job and keep her religion --- something most people don't know.

You being a muslim, it isn't surprising that you wouldn't admit her dishonestly. Not only was she dishonest, she was sleazy and underhanded and she deliberately PLANNED to misrepresent herself. We consider that dishonest in civil society.
If she isn't afraid to have an interview at a CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL without the veil, then she should NOT be allowed to wear it once she has gotten the job. That's the same as lying on your application and she should be fired at the very least. She's SLEAZY
