I love your dog, Loke! I have 3 Aussies, they mostly fetch the Frisbee, and other simple tricks! Any suggestions how to help with other training tricks?
@honeyman47 Make a plan! Failing to plan is planning to fail. ;) Train tricks in small steps. Write in "kikopup cross paws" here on YouTube for example, to see a good example of how we might train a more advanced trick. Reading up on the clicker method is also my advice, if you're new to it. ;) Good luck!
@sequoyahbean Now he's got the titles, from Novice to Expert. ;) Our names can be seen on the Title Holders list. =) Will work on the Champion title. =9
What a beautiful and talented dog! I have followed your videos since Loke was a puppy. You have done an amazing job training. He looks at you with love and respect. This is the kind of dog I have always dreamed of having, but I'm afraid I don't have the skills or patience to train appropriately. I admire you.
@kittennuggets You make me blush! ;) Like it says in my presentation of the channel - Loke is my first own dog and I started clicker training when I got him. Total beginner. And that was a little over 2 years ago now. =) When I grew up I was told that the only way to train and foster dogs was to punish them to obey and dominate them, something I never liked, but as a child you listen to what grown ups say. It's hard to start thinking so differently as an adult.
But I'm glad I took the time to check around for options and make my own opinion about how to treat and train dogs (animals) and that Loke won't be treated the way my parents dogs were and so on. A lot have happened when it comes to training dogs, we know a lot more now than we did 30 years ago and I like to keep myself updated. ;) It's hard to work with yourself too, patience and so on, but very rewarding - the results will show in your dog. =) You can do it!
Loke is a superstar! Excellent work, the running "BANG" is unbelievably cool!! I also love where you live. . . maybe I need to move to Sweden. . . ; )
Wow! Loke is amazing! That is the best "bang" I have ever seen and the "breakdance" trick is so awesome! You're doing a great job! Molly is also doing a great job, she's cute :)

I plan too. :) We've been working on the basics right now. Sit, down, and shake a paw. He catches on pretty fast. He is nine weeks old

I mean that it does not matter, even if you live in Sweden. That's related to the fact when someone spoke to the trick dog title. If you figured: D
