I wonder why some people press the do not like-button for this? OK, it seems your instrument is not a barock one, neither is it modern, but the way you make use of it in that huge resonance, your regstrations, the tempo and phrasing; this is excellent Bach!

the more I listen to this post, the more I perceive that this organist's subtle use of rubato, phrasing, and registration, is really quite amazing. He has mastered the technicalities of the piece, and performs not by formula, but by having internalized it to the point where he can speak to it not by formula, but by his spirit. Notice that there is no sheet music. This is really quite remarkable..

Amazing that a human being can store and recall so many billions of bits of information not as a computer or a metronome, but will full artistic presentation, requiring something of the spirit, something that cannot ever be described in naturalistic terms. Truly there is a God, and it was this realization that allowed Bach to compose such masterpieces in the first place.

Non capisco il tuo commento. Questa è una grande esecuzione. La registrazione è stata fatta dalla cantoria quindi viene sfalsato il rapporto di sonorità. Per piacere badiamo all'essenza della musica. Meno curriculi più sostanza.... ma capirete con l'età.

Jetzt muss ich auch mal was schreiben. Ich muss nämlich sagen, dass Sie einer der wenigen Organisten bei Youtube sind, die wirklich gut spielen. Das Stück hier ist ein Beispiel. Auch Präludium und Fuge über den Namen B-A-C-H von Franz Liszt finde ich echt gut, Weiter so.

Great! One (if not THE) of the best enjoyable performance, registration I have heard in the last 30 years. Sebastian, you made Liszt fly, you made Bach fly here on youtube. Looking forward to get some professional recordings from you. You seem to enjoy what you are doing and you are on the right track.
