@lazyrossvampsa The Kaito that you see at 00:20 is the magician, this is the only picture for him. Every other picture is the puppet Kaito. The one singing this song is the magician. The story is about the magician who searches for infinity (perhaps immortallity) and realizes that he is mortal. He created a puppet with that he spent much time and told the puppet about an eternal flower. The puppet wants to please his master and searches, but can't find it for it doesn't exist.

It's even sadder when you hear the puppet's side of the song. The magician only wants the puppet to return, and the puppet only wants the magician to be happy. But the puppet believes he must find the unfading flower to please the magician, so he won't return until he finds the flower. However, the flower doesn't exist, so the puppet will never return to the magician. It's just...sad. There's no other word for it, really.
