@DragonZord90 most Chinese don't dress up like this when they do it in the parks. they just use their everyday clothes. but i don't care about the Chinese. i just point out that this dude likes the show of it, and judging from his form it is clear to see that he hasn't understood the deeper aspects of what he is doing.
i did tai-chi for several years and i can recognise a superficial practitioner when i see one. so i think with my experience. what part of your ass are u thinking with?
@CT2507 so you go out in public in your Spiderman underoos? Or your adult diaper? Or whatever you wear? The point is, you dress for the occasion. He is *presenting* a video on his interpretation of Tai Chi. Not your interpretation, BTW. Speaking of which, why don't you throw up a video show casing your Tai Chi skills? If he would have done it in his street clothes, no doubt, there would have been some asshole,. much like yourself complaining because his jeans were too holy. You're a huge faggot
of course it's internal, but nothing stands alone. Have you ever noticed that when you dress up, you take on the character of the costume? maybe the kung fu sash puts him in a better Tai Chi headspace. Good for him for dressing how he pleases. Tai chi mght not be for show, but youtube videos are.
of course it puts him in a better tai chi mood. but if he needs shiny clothes for that, then it shows a superficial romantic attitude towards tai chi.
Mavybe it helps him to concentrate. I wear a "silly" outfit, too, when I am doing Yoga or Tai Chi for the same reason. An outfit doesn`t make the Tai Ci of somebody bad or good.
@Wolkenleopard if it helps him to concentrate then he is basically doing it for the wrong reasons. yoga or tai-chi should be possible in all types of clothes.
if he is turned on by the ritual of it, then that is where his mind will be stuck...and yours too by the way. on the superficial ritualistic level of the whole thing.
had he been an Asian i wouldn't mind so much... see if u can figure out why.
Maybe this is YOUR way. Maybe YOUR mind stucks then. That doesn`t mean that everybodie`s do so. My mind gets free better. That doesn`t mean I cannot practice with other clothes. I just like my silly outfit and I guess the guy in the video, too. Clothes doesn`t make anybody a good or bad pupil of asian meditation.
i also have s silly outfit, but i dont wear it in public. and i'd never film myself wearing it expecting others to want to watch it.
