Just recently discovered Lisa Hannigan. Took me awhile to 'get' her & now her songs pop into my head at odd times of the day. She always seems to be performing for her band rather than for the audience, doesn't appear to care about clothes, hair, image projection, unlike most women performing now. Hope she stays unspoiled. Love how she brings out odd musical instruments & performs on them herself. & I love that orange mushroom lamp she carries most everywhere.
unfortunately i think i was the "guy that was approximately six feet tall" that you were stuck behind. we debated about whether or not we should fill the hole between you, your friend, and the column and the stage. the possibility of a greater proximity to lisa trounced common concert courtesy in an on the spot cost-benefit analysis. sorry. i'm glad you still enjoyed the show. it was terrific indeed.
Of all the people who could have found this video.. lol. It's quite alright, I just hate being short sometimes, and with a concert half as awesome as that one, the need to be closer to the stage is entirely understandable. I also apologize for singing loudly during "I Don't Know," however I contend that I wasn't half as bad as the man that was behind me who sang and "harmonized" along with all of the songs.
I'm sorry Jannie , I don't agree with you about Lisa her looks. I think she looks very beautiful and I love her way of dressing and her hair. So pure.
And yes, I hope she stays unspoiled, but I think she will! She's Irish!

Going to see them in London in May. Thanks for your review. I figure from listening to the album that "warm cookies" is a pretty good review.
